Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4557 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4557 Candy Crush Saga is a jelly level, and as with all jelly levels the only way to clear it is to make as many powerful combos as you can.
To begin with you need to collect the keys to open up the board so that you can clear the blockers and jelly.
There are mystery candies dropping from dispensers near the bottom left side of the board and as with all levels containing mystery candies you need some luck with them. If you get goodies from the mystery candies they will be very useful, but they can equally cause a headache if they give blockers and chocolate.
Once the board is unlocked it is easier to make the special candies and combos you need to clear the jelly. look for colourbomb combos, especially bottom left where you have the mystery candies to help.

Stuck here for days! I can't figure out how to get the mystery candies to start dropping sooner- they sometimes appear with 14 moves to go and sometimes when 3 moves left or not at all. Any tips? ...kik
Wow. Don't plan on getting anywhere in this level if you don't have boosters. And if you do have boosters, plan on losing them all. Not even remotely close. Can't believe this isn't marked as an impossibly hard level.
Stuck too; but figured out the mystery candy doesn't start dropping until you clear the mystery candy at the top half of the board.
So get the keys, get the top mystery candy, and then things move. Unfortunately, you're usually out of moves by then...

Terrible level .
One thing I've noticed, which helped me pass this level with no boosters, is that if I use a life I have been given by a friend, rather than a free life, the level is much easier to play.
On multiple hard level, I exhaust my free lives, then play a donated life and miraculously pass the level.
May be nothing in this but certainly seems to help.

this level is outrageously bad. not even coming close with full boosters. I haven't seen a level this terrible since that notorious triple episode release back in the 3800s that had everybody pulling out their hair
funny how after I posted that I got a lucky board and passed with moves to spare. so basically unless you get lucky you're screwed. the next level is stupid too so it seems this whole episode is shite

You don't need boosters, they don't help much due to the restricted board in the beginning. But try to get the keys asap, eg using the stripes on the right side. Had around 30 fruitless attempts and finally made it without any boosters and within the given moves (28 at the moment). Had at least 3 CBs during the game and could use 2 with stripes, this helped very much. And was lucky with the surprise candies (that they didn't turn to sth ugly like triple blockers or so).

OK. A nasty level. Completed it after a day. I used a couple of hand switches to line up combinations. Most important was to create a chocolate ball and sit it next to another choc ball. The cascades finally favoured me and put a stripe and a wrap together on at least 2 occasions. I am glad that is out of the way!
I started with a double color bomb which helped, but a lot of the mystery candies were chocolate and licorice and didn't help. Plan to be here for a long time. UGH!

Tough level. I keep getting mystery candies turning into chocolate or thick blockers, rarely ever something helpful. This is getting old. Played three times so far, lost all my bot boosters, tempted to add the entry boosters, but feel like I'll keep getting bad mystery candy results. I cannot unlock the secret here. I can easily clear the jelly on the bottom, but the licorice and cruddy mystery candies keep blocking me from unlocking the top at all. This is my first "posting for luck", I apologize for doing so, just feel it's necessary here as I'm not getting anywhere close.
It took me a few more attempts after my mini-rant, still had to spin an extra 15 moves by watching an ad after failing (I usually spin the fish or color bombs), was getting near the end again, used one hammer to make the third hit on the popcorn, then switched the resulting color bomb with its neighboring color, which converted a few mystery candies. Fortunately, they were generally good ones and I was able to create a stripe + wrap combination, which struck a fish in its path; that fish collected the last two jellies. I finished with 3 moves to spare (with the 15 bonus moves). Tough level. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!
Horrid level. Not worth starting with boosters. If I’ve learned anything with this game it’s to be patient, because the lucky board WILL eventually come as it did for me after about 30 tries. “Posting for luck” does nothing for you (unless theres such thing as candy crush angels that see your prayer and take control of your app). You’ve gotten this far, you’ll eventually get it. Gah! Why am I addicted to this stupid game?!?!

This is the most ridiculous level yet! If you make stripes they fire into liquorice so nothing gets hit. I’m so fed up with playing it, knowing that the only way I’ll ever pass it is when King decides to let me through. I’ve really had enough of CC now!

Two or three times I had what I must recognize were lucky boards, with early keys, series of cascades, good lucky candies and that sort of things, but even with these I came nowhere close to finishing...A hellish level

This has to be one of the worst levels ever! I have played it so many times and on the very rare occasion I have released any mystery candys in the top they have all turned to chocolate, bombs or blockers. Time to give up for the sake of my blood pressure, no fun anymore!
