Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4616 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4616 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you are likely to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to collect licorice and clear the jelly to complete the level.
The licorice will be provided by the lucky candies inside the candy cane fences on each side of the board and these have to be hit using combos as they can't be matched at the start of the game.
First begin by clearing some of the blockers in the middle and look for colourbombs and other special candies. You can switch the yellow stripe/wrap combos at the top at any time, but make sure you switch them before the blockers below them are cleared, if this happens the combos will drop through onto the board and leave the top sections with jelly that is hard to clear.
Keep using combos to clear the licorice and once you have enough for the order the lucky candies will stop giving more so you can use them to clear the jelly in the side sections. Hopefully by the time you have cleared the licorice the candy curls will be cleared enough for you to make matches inside the candy canes and clear the remaining jellies.

You MUST collect the liquorice first, otherwise you don't have a chance to collect the jellies.
And you should start the yellows only when the liquorice "shield" below is gone (or when most of the liquorice is gone), because then (only) you can hit the jellies underneath.

having so much trouble with this level. posting for luck.
I passed this level on my second attempt before viewing the blog, with the benefit of two entry bot boosters (color bomb and striped/wrapped), wish I'd seen Cookie's and Emsa8's tips. That licorice can be a major obstacle to collecting the jelly. Make combinations and do what you can to clear as much of the licorice order before using the two yellow striped + wrapped combinations, so that they hit as many of the lucky candies and jelly as possible (and not licorice). Finish off the level with more special candy combinations or matches of three inside the fences with the lucky candies where you can make them, once most of the candy ribbons are gone. There seems to be a glitch on this level. I’ve collected the ordered amount of licorice twice and the special candies are still turning into licorice when I hit them.
Don’t see how this level can be beat with this glitch.
I agree with Crushed impossible level even when I collect all liquorice it still appears blocking everything so no way can you win definately think there's a glitch time cc got things like this sorted 😡😡😡😡

Where are all these combos to get rid of the licorice? I have tried doing the stripe and wrap on top first and then again waiting to use them. Have used colored balls and stipe and wrap boosters and still getting nowhere. I have watched the video a few times a few times to see where I am going wrong. Guess will just post for luvk...

I have tried everything to get through this game used all my boosters and still nothing. Played for 4 days, now I need HELP from CANDY CRUSH. LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE desperately need a LUCKY BOARD OR A MIRACLE.
Very hard level getting nowhere near bombs exploding to quickly only a lucky board will do it i would really appreciate one please

After playing this at least 15x (no boosters) using Cookie and others tips, I was to use the two yellow combos first because no other moves were available. I passed! Maybe it was chance, maybe not.

Does every level in CC now are hard levels? Mine didnt remarked as hard level but hv been tried many times but cant clear all the jellies. Create combos but always down at the bottom board. So....im getting tired playing this game, from hard level to hard level, and impossible to be finished without lucky board
C’mon....not remarked as hard level but actually a very hard level, hv been played hundred times but still cant get through, even with double colorbombs? So if boosters cant help, pse....no need to pay extra money! what the point of playing this Stupid game? We hv to play the same level hundred times and after that we are allowed go to the next level?
C’mon where is the lucky board? Too many licorices, i noticed the video shown lucky candies doesnt change to licorice that much not as my board. Every time hit the lucky candies always change to licorice, and to clear the jellies behind is almost impossible. so how can we finish this level???? Double colourboms, combined with stripe and wrap candies didnt work. So if boosters didnt help HOW CAN WE FINISH THIS LEVEL??? So ridiculous!! Impossible to be finished. Im ready to delete this game again
