Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4648 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4648 Candy Crush Saga is a score level, you have to score as many points as possible in the moves available, the points may change in the future so you will have to check on your own game what points you need to complete the game.
First you need to clear the waffles at the bottom of the left side of the board using stripes that you can make on the right side of the board. Drop the stripes to the bottom of the board and fire them into the waffles. Clearing the waffles will release the bombs, which will drop and match until the key at the top is collected.
The key will unlock the dispensers at the top right of the two right sections of the board which will drop stripes and wraps. Use these combos to clear the licorice so that you can fire combos into the bombs and clear them for the best points.
It isn't possible to make colourbombs on this board, so you have to rely on stripes and stripe/wrap combos. It may be possible to match some of the bombs on the left side of the board but you will have to rely a bit on luck to get the score needed.

So I think I figured it out. If you can get a color bomb next to a purple wrap at the very beginning, it’ll clear the red key over on the left side to then unlock the wrapped/striped on the far right side as well as unlock the licorice in the middle so you can clear it. After that, it’s all easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Hey Starcsc ~~ Great freakin' idea! I used the boosters like you recommended, and positioned the color bomb next to a purple wrap, which only took about 20 resets! My game wasn't as easy peasy as yours (I only had ONE move left when I got my first star!) but it worked. HUGE thanks.....

After 42 resets I got one next to a CB.
I still needed luck though, got the score needed after all moves were done and it did the final crush thing, that brought me barely to the need score.

Excellent tip! I was able to pair a purple wrap with a color bomb, but why wouldn’t a red wrap also work? The key is red with red bombs on both sides...
Once the licorice is gone, bombs will drop down the center column. Plus, there’s no licorice to block strips & stripe/wrap combos, so hitting bombs gets easier.

Can't get anywhere near clearing the bottom left row of icing blockers as striped candy falls and gets destroyed before I can use them to any effect so how in earth can this level be achieved really need help here hoping for a lucky board soon but I'm thinking it is time to say bye bye cc and to find more playable and fun games 😡😡😡😡😡😡

This level is stupid impossible to clear the icing until only a couple of moves left. Haven’t got more than 100,000 in more than 100 tries.
We must be really crazy to waste our priceless freetime playing such boring, nonsense games.
Starcsc came up with the solution which I'd stumbled on by accident and came here to report.
Took at CB and Striped/Wrapped combo in with me and CB was next to purple wrap. That was it. From then on it was simple and the points climbed dramatically as stripes and wraps dropped on right side to allow sweeping the top of the opened up left side of the board. I paid no attention to the waffles but they cleared themselves!

Tried the CB/purple wrapped after reading comments and it worked the first time.

I just beat this level.......I won two hours of stripped/wrap combo......I decided I was going to use a color bomb....I kept on coming out of the game until I got the color bomb next to the wrapped.....that opened up the left side of the board....from there I just worked on the top right of the board to get stripes to hit the bombs.

How do you get 2 hours of free boosters. I get no boosters now, and if I make one it goes off befor I can use it on the bottom tiles. Impossible game. Can’t even get 2000 points maybe time to give it up,

I’ve had enough of this. I can’t even make a strip which will sit long enough at the bottom to fire off.
I play less and less each day now because of these ridiculous levels. Absolutely hate the latest ones which have some kind of ice around them. It suggests a move which is not even possible....how stupid is that!
Pack the ice in King and make the levels fair play or you will loose your players income faster than you think

I know..third post but I need help. I can make lots of stripes but can not fire them into the waffles. Just once have I cleared that then was out of moves. Have only made a couple wraps and they are nowhere near the stripes. Getting ver discouraged. Posting for luck.
Very boring when you never even get close. Tried making the stripes on the bottom but there is none to make, Making them on top and then it is the only move you have. I didn't get this far because I don't know how to play. This game is just not allowing me to play. Every time I am close to winning one of the little games to get boosters I see I am held back till someone else wins...then I get to pass the level. Unless of course I buy a bunch of boosters...not happening. Hope I get past this soon
Still here...came very close once but had used my boosters by then. I can get the stripes to the bottom but then there is nothing to let them off...very very frustrating...I have tried everything...colored balls don't do nothing...I have cleared the waffles a few times but then am out of turns...give me a break...this is too long for a game

A wrap and colorbomb opens the board then use the stripes from top right to finish the score.
Yes. CB with purple wrap. Orange may work as well. Took 13 tries to set it up. Now right as rain

Here's how I was able to pass this level using the brilliant reset trick as posted by Starcsc. I played the game on my Android. First, I opened the level and selected 2 boosters, colorbomb and striped/wrapped, then hit Play. If the colorbomb was not positioned next to the wrap, I opened the settings button in the lower left corner and hit the red rectangular button. That took me back to the map. Open the level again, and you will not have lost a life or your boosters, but you'll have a new board with the boosters in different positions. If the colorbomb and wrap are still not next to each other, repeat the process until they are. I think my colorbomb finally ended up next to a green wrap, so I don't think it matters what color your wrap is. I hope this helps whoever is stuck on this level like I was! Good luck!

I haven’t had reset option in years! Doesn’t seem fair. Also can’t play older levels for any help at all. Total BS. Not gonna spend another penny on any king game if they are this unfair.
I don’t have boosters, not even extra lives will help with this level. The new colour booster would be hard to activate on this level. Not sure of a plan.

Have a cb...reset til u get the cb next to a wrap of whatever color is covered in the upper right corner. Match those and u will uncover bombs to play and win
I resent using boosters on any level. However, having said that, if you want past this level... quite easy. Pick a color bomb and striped/wrapped booster. Start the round, and back out and reset the board if necessary, until the bomb is next to the wrapped (preferably green) as it will blow out the middle of the clouded area AND kill the key. I had many moves to spare.

Aaaaarrrgggghhhh. On my first go, I started with a double colourbomb. What a waste. Did nothing. Everyone says you need to start with a colourbomb and purple wrap. Where is everyone conjuring up this combination from? I don’t have any wraps at the start and I have no boosters. Am I right in saying I just need to drop stripes to the bottom right to get rid of bottom left? Really? I need a lot of luck here please.

Fraggy. It used to be possible to quit a level before making a move without losing a life or any boosters used. This is no longer possible.

I lost my ability to reset without losing a life a long time ago. What gives? It is not relaxing to sit home and wait out the coronavirus playing an impossible and unfair game. Time to get a good book and say goodbye I guess!

This game is HORRENDOUS, I have used and wasted all of my boosters and still nothing. This game has lost the FUN element, time to find something else to occupy my time. I do not mind a challenge but when it is obvious you will never pass a game even wasting boosters it's time to admit defeat and move on to something else. I'll try the LUCKY BOARD PLEASE route before I quit.

Should be better as cc give less difficult an very difficult levels. To play is no fun, you go easy to another game to play with fun. Are they kingsize games? NO. Even Bubble shooter, the new one, is better and fun to play.

I thought that would work and didn’t even come close. I am hating this game more and more every day. It’s become just a scam where you only advance if the game wants you to. No skill, no nothing just a computer telling itself when to release a win.

I am here to let you know that it is possible to pass this level without boosters or resets. (I believe resets are a thing of the past) It took me about a dozen tries. Work the first column on the right side of the board and just keep bringing down stripes so you can fire them off in the bottom row. You will lose some along the way. Once the bottom row is cleared you will have some moves to match the bombs. Keep making and firing stripes from the right side to clear more bombs. Only 1 star, but c'est la vie!
I agree with Jeanne above, although I cannot give as precise a description of how I succeeded. Somehow without boosters I looked and needed only 6 more scores and had 6 moves. I have no real idea of how I got to that point. Easy from there on. Just keep firing away with the bottom stripes, I guess. Good luck.
So, I'm playing Level 4648. However, the goal is to get 60 color bombs ticking down from 99. The right side of the board had 3 columns and 6 rows of candy. A locked column one column to the left. Under the right side is a box 3x2 with 3 locked boxes underneath a conveyer with a striped candy. The left side has 3 columns of 8 rows, 3 waffles 2nd from the bottom and 3 locked boxes underneath them. Not sure how to pass, because when I cleared the 3 locked boxes at the bottom right, the striped candy started falling into the upper right section. I am using my phone, so may check this level on my laptop.
