Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4693 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4693 Candy Crush Saga is an orders level, you have to collect all the licorice to complete the level. The licorice is around the outside of the board and can only be cleared using special candies and combos because of the candy cane fences.
First you will need to open up the board a little by clearing the blockers and candy curls down the middle of the board. Once the board is more open you need to look for chances to make special candies and combos to clear the licorice.
If you can manage to make 2 colourbombs and get them together this will clear most of the licorice on the board, if not all of it, and so complete the level fairly easily.
If you can't manage to make the double colourbomb combo you can try using colourbombs switched with a stripe or a wrap or use stripe/wrap combos although this can be very much harder.

Must have been a lucky board, got 2 CB's together, got all the licorice, 14 extra moves!
Opened with two CBS together. Took out everything!
I wanted to make it without double CB, but found it not possible. After I knew that double CB is the better solution, I was able to form one within 3 attempts and after o le 1p moves. Hit all liquorice.
I was able to complete this level on my first try, before viewing the blog, with the benefit of an entry bot booster (color bomb). I was able to drop that color bomb one space above the bottom of the column just left of the center column (with the blockers that is surrounded by the candy curls), then form another color bomb to the immediate left of that, using the color that was prevalent on the row above the bottom candy cane fence. Double color bomb combination, finished with 10 moves to spare. Without a double color bomb combination, it MAY be possible using several powerful combinations (at least one of which is probably a color bomb + wrapped or striped). Slight correction... the entry color bomb was one column to the left of where I typed... it was two columns to the left of center, in the column to the immediate right of the left most licorice fences... column #2 from left to right inside the fence. The center of the formed color bomb was column #3, and the formation of that color bomb dropped the gifted color bomb to the left of it. I combined them to finish the level. I played this many, many times not even getting close. I could form the occasional colorbomb but only two in the same game once and there was no way to get them together. It was discouraging. In the final game, I had 8 licorice to collect with 7 moves left, and decided to use my precious spaceship. Voila! Finished. It's one way to do it for those hanger on licorice. Beware, though..you can only have three zones with licorice for the three wraps to strike.

I played this at least 10x before I could combine two CB'S. I wasn't having any luck otherwise. I had to use a hand swap to get them together but glad to move on.

Lucky board needed !!! Impossible to make double colorbombs with restricted bombs and reduced moves. Why CC always reduced the moves and make it impossible to be finished??? Cookie's tips are great until ROTTEN CC developers change the game. Less moves--thicker blockers--play fair GREEDY PIGS. All about the money now CC-ruining fun games.

There are only 20 moves now - not enough to clear many blockers. And that doesn't leave many candies for creating Colorbombs. This may be the end of this game for me.
