Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4857 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4857 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level, but it is virtually impossible to pass without boosters so don't expect to do it quickly. This is an ingredients level and you just have to collect one cherry to complete the level.
The cherry has to travel down the middle section into the right column, then from there down to the exit. To collect the cherry you will need to clear the licorice down the middle and the waffles on the right, no easy task with the spawners covering the licorice with marmalade every few moves.
Strpes will drop from the dispensers on the left and can be used to clear the marmalade and licorice, make sure you clear the to square of licorice so that the cherry can drop onto the board.
If you can get two colourbombs together this will be really helpful, but not easy to do. Any combo with stripes will help, but using a colourbomb/stripe combo may not have the effect needed as most of the stripes will go the wrong way.
Using a coconut wheel may be useful but the coconut wheels tend to go into the middle column where you have to hit them with a stripe and this isn't always helpful. I found that using a UFO was the most helpful booster, but if you don't have one then you are going to need some hands and maybe hammers to complete the level.
The video below is made using several boosters but is the best one I could find at the time of writing.

Not easy but the coconute wheel can help a lot
Yikes. This level might just be the hardest one I have ever come across in this game. This level is the perfect example of King/Activision's move towards pay to play.
But, I stopped spending money a while ago, so whatever. Looks like I'll be stuck for a while
I literally have never had the coconut wheel drop anywhere other than in the middle by the spawners.

Omg this level seems impossible I've no boosters so can't see how to get through to next level unless I get a very lucky board so here's hoping I get one soon please
This is not normal. This has nothing to do with playing a game and get relaxed! So King do something about it. This level is not possible without boosters. I'm not going to pay for boosters, but I think King wants us to do so..... If King wants to have possitive players, King has to do something.
I am delighted to say that I completed this one at the first attempt! Thanks to Cookie for the advice and for the video - which I don't always watch - but was glad that i did this time. I started with the 3 boosters on the set up screen and used a hammer to complete it. I did this on my wife's mobile phone.
Henky - I am not sure what you are on about! It is a game. I never buy boosters either. If you can't do a level, don't take it so seriously. Do something else to fill up your time. and then come back to it. It's not worth getting stressed about. I don't think King have to do anything - I am sure that they are happy to just keep putting new levels on and letting those who want to buy boosters, do so!

Coconut wheel, and striped dispensers, as well as making your own special candies seem to be the path here. Cookie's tips and Johnny's video are helpful. I did pass on my first attempt after reading the blog. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

An impossible level I have used everything from side-by-side chocolate bombs to Coconut wheels to creating striped candies and nothing is getting me past this impossible level !! Over it king OVER IT! it’s level after level of this insanity and I honestly don’t know why I continue to put myself through it I really need to step away from you King!

Ugh. This level sucks! I need some good boosters. Seems like starting with boosters would be a waste, as there are not many open spaces at the beginning of the game. I have a few hammers and hands so may have to resort to that. Please send a lucky board.
Good work cc! As long you only give difficult levels, the longer i only collect free boosters every day without playing. I pla better and more fun games, dont miss cc, its a game which i lose interest. To boring with only difficult levels. No one is waiting on such kind of game..

Don't waste a coconut wheel. Wont do much good. Also pretty funny the comments people make directed to King. It's a game. King is in it for money. They don't care what you think. Millions of people play and there are plenty willing to pay. Stop whingeing and find something else to do.
I call Bull shit------If the pros can't pass the level without multiple boosters. Candy Crush developers have out done themselves with PURE EVIL,,,spawns of the devil. CC took away boosters & extra moves so the players have to BUY---not a free game site then.

How many hundreds of times must one play this level in order to beat it? I have been playing for days and there is no way to get rid of all the waffles. I need a lucky board. I'm going to stop playing for a few days and hope when I get the urge to play again, maybe King will toss me a lucky board.
