Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4889 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4889 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to collect the ingredients and clear the jelly to complete the level.
As with all jelly levels you are going to need some powerful combos to complete this level, but there is one thing you need to look out for. The ingredients can get stuck in the square beside the conveyor if you clear that square when there are ingredients just above it. The spaces you need to avoid are circled in the image below. If your ingredient gets in that space you will not be able to get it out without using a hand switch so this must be avoided at all cost.
Apart from keeping an eye on where the ingredients are on the conveyor all you really need to do is make as many colourbomb combos as you can to clear everything on the board. As long as you avoid the pitfall of the ingredients getting stuck you shouldn't need to worry about them too much, if you clear the jelly the ingredients should be collected.

Not easy. Done but with boosters
"UNCLE".....if I use strategy, I seem to end up in the circled areas and, since I don't have a 'switch', I start over again....then I just hope for plain old luck and I seem to run out of lives....I have a feeling this one would have to be played too many times for my patience....boy, do I need a miracle here....
Note that those two squares Cookie mentioned do not ever have to be cleared. Just concentrate on clearing the two side columns. Barb

Ridiculous level. Been playing repeatedly but unable to complete without boosters...especially hand switches. Posting for luck! If I’m not done this level shortly this may just be where I call it quits. What a time waster!
YAY! Got it on first attempt! It took a precious flying saucer (UFO that i had just won, 2 hand switches and 2 hammers - and a bit of luck with the last drop following a gamble with the hammer. A nice green stripe dropped next to my choc bomb ( that I created with the hand switches). Stop wasting column space by "posting for luck" and use your skill - and boosters of course. Onwards and upwards!
Finished on 1st try. Started with CB, stripe & wrap — all won from previous level. Watch the ingredients! Good luck!

Same as everyone else, without hand switches, you are doomed. Game can be over, right at the start which seems so unfair. Looking forward to getting through this.

I was so excited that I might have a chance to beat this level finally by winning some extra boosters but NO, they disappeared or never appeared!! Why do i not play this game ? So fed up by the difficult levels. Fed up by each level. Beside that interest in this game is now zero! Collect free boosters without playing. The games i play are much better than this irritating game. Seems most players of cc has the same complains, Good work CC. Hope you and nowhere.
Hopeless level, hopeless game, Thats why cc lose So many players. In the order of games they score very, very low. I Am not surprised. For me they reach zero, zero now. On his end now i wait for the moment they are nowhere in the game.
The levels are to difficult, impossible, comments, less and less. The opinion of the levels are even worse. I wonder how long cc still standing. For me, i think they can better stop and dissapear! To boring and i mean all the time!

thanks Cookie for the tip & circled no-no's. Noticed that when Cookie passes with extra moves left the evil Candy Crush developers change the level to make it harder-------------took away 1 move & added 46 more Jellies-----WTF !!!

Down to 17 moves. Can’t even get close. Bought 30 extra moves and still didn’t come close.
With 17 moves given in this level I would say that the first 12 or 13 moves produce many explosive possibilities. I often think that "this is it. I have a chance". But with the playing board thinned out the last 4 or 5 moves mostly produce combinations of three--and these do not give the needed explosions that are needed. More moves would be one practical remedy. 17 is just not enough.
I know that if I go back to playing casino royal I would have more fun than this
