Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4973 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4973 Candy Crush Saga is a dual task level, you have to collect the ingredients and clear all the jelly to complete the level. The cherries are locked in the cells around the outside of the board under the crystal candies and marmalade.
The jelly under the cherries will be cleared when the cherries are collected so you will only need to worry about the jelly in the middle part of the board. Look carefully at the board to begin with as it can be tricky to see the colours of the candies under the crystal candies. The sooner you can get the board opened up the better chance you will have of clearing the level. The chocolate in the middle will be cleared easily once the board is opened up.
You will need stripes and stripe combos to unlock the cherries and once they are unlocked they will drop out of the exits without any problem. The best combos are colourbomb/stripe combos as these are likely to unlock or uncover several of the cherries at the same time. If you can make a double colourbomb combo this will be even better, but not as easy to make.

No body has posted since Dec 9 2019. What am I missing. 17 moves - Tks CC! Just can’t seem to maneuver this one with enough special candies. Funny how Cookie gets that last tricky double crush to clear the board on the last move. 🙋♀️ Here!!!!

In this video the chocolate doesn't grow until it's uncovered. Been doing this for days and am really over it. All I get is a flat battery on my phone

On my older iPad, you can't move candy under a crystal, which makes this level impossible. I've managed on other levels, because you can move a candy that isn't under a crystal and make combos that way, but since this level is all crystal, I'm totally stuck. It seems apparent that this is a bug, but I haven't found it discussed anywhere.
Posting for luck again, can't be done because can't move under crystal jelly. Will have to stop playing!

Added the fish booster and easily finished first try. There aren't many candy not under crystal to start but I had enough to make matches without any reshuffles. I always turn the brightness up high whenever there are crystal candies. Good luck everyone.
Each day that passes, I feel I'm getting more and more conned by these people. In this game I started with a cb and it was next to a wrapped candy, but because it was under ice I couldn't use it. Instead it was making me use a move that was totally useless. I'm forced to make irrelevant moves all through the game which is getting me nowhere fast. Another thing, on a previous level I ended up needing just one more move to finsh the level I'd been stuck on for days, so I paid 1.99 to continue. It gave me 25 extra moves when I only needed one. So what happens to the other 24 moves that I PAID FOR? Nothing, they are taken from you. It's a total rip off! I spend money on here all the time and get nothing back. I paid for 6 hours unlimited play and never passed one level a few days ago. Yet, friends who are on low levels are whizzing through the game and beating me on the weekly tournament and therfore rewarded with boosters. What a con.

This level takes way too long. Decent/useful moves are few and far between!
I only need one more hit to clear the middle cherries so I used a hand switch to put the stripe in the center but when I hit it, instead of going straight up to hit the cherry, it jumped over to the far left side of the board. WTF? I knew this game is rigged but that's over the top. I refuse to pay-they earned a billion dollars last year.

Now only 17 moves left with 62 jellies to be cleared and the chocolates on the video shown didnt spread, but mine spread very fast and have to be hit double. Fix it! Give us a fair board to play

Now down to 17 moves and now the chocolate locked under a crystal candy spreads. In the video, the chocolate locked under the crystal candy did not spread and there were 20 moves. The chocolate in the video did not start spreading until it was unlocked and included a lucky board and required 19 moves to complete. I am noticing a trend in the last several levels and it is quite obvious that King now wants you to either spend money or wait for a lucky board.
