Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5140 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 5140 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you need to collect licorice and clear the jelly to complete the level.
Some of the licorice is on the board at the start of the game, but the rest will drop from the dispensers on the right as you play. Remember that the licorice can only drop if there is space for it to drop into and if you don't clear any with your move.
To begin with you need to clear the crystal candies on the left side of the board so that you can clear the licorice and begin to clear jelly. Once the left side is opened up you can treat the level as a normal jelly level and use combos to clear as much jelly as you can.
Once you get down to collecting the final licorice you need to get it dropping on the right side and the best way to do this is to make combos to clear the candies from that side so that the licorice will drop. Colourbomb combos will get the most licorice dropping as long as you don't clear any when you switch the combo.

I think a lot of people are tired of complaining. This game is no longer fun I must confess.
I can't clear all the crystals. Shouldn't there be more moves?
I can get the licorice no problem but can’t clear the jellies for the life of me. Good thing dying doesn’t kill me!

I don’t use this site for complaining but for help in passing the level besides “re- shuffle the board until u get two sprinkle balls together” I didn’t think there was a trick to this level as there is with others. I’ll do it on my own - no help King please. 🥂.
So crazy, needing help on almost all levels now. So ridiculously difficult. I went from playing religiously everyday to just once in awhile now.
I played this ridiculous level for 2 days and was sick of it that I broke my own rules and used boosters because I felt it was the only way to be done with it. Shame on you King, you greedy bleeps! I don't even know how many I used but at least a UFO, 2 hammers and 2 swaps. Starting boosters don't seem to matter so if you can, wait for a lucky board.
Not that difficult. Clear top left to get wraps dropping. Match with strips or other wraps. Try to make colourbombs. Need to think each move carefully

Com certeza este nível é o final do CC para mim. Não vou fazer parte de uma manipulação fraudulenta. Não se iludam, este nível foi projetado para ninguém passar, a menos que esteja disposto a comprar boosters. Isto aqui tornou-se uma fraude. Chega, este jogo é ridículo.
A Cleim deve ser uma débil, diz para limpar o lado esquerdo do tabuleiro para cair doces listrados, isso não existe, melhor tivesse ficado calada a dizer idiotices. Este nível é impossível, com ou sem usar boosters. Realmente é hora de parar com este jogo.

No! I cannot clear the jellies or barely any movement on that side at all ..then all of a sudden I get a colour bomb and or 2 wrapped candies together , look up and no moves left. Why do the good moves only appear when you've no moves left? SO frustrating!!!

thanks Cookie for tips & video. Crappy CC King developers changed the damn level AGAIN. NOW NEED 58 jellies & 55 LICORICE. Greed & avarice is behind the techs changing the game so players have to BUY moves & boosters-------since cheating stingy King doesn't give FREE moves.
Please a lucky board, I am a poor widow who doesn't have money for games from a FREE game site.

I’ve been at this for a while now waiting for that lucky board (which obviously never came). Even with colour bomb + wrapped candy comb, I can’t clear the board in the allotted moves. I’m getting tired of having to pay for extra moves. It’s just not fun anymore. I think the developers should had ads instead of making their users pay.

One thing I learn from CC. Don’t spent your booster. Don’t buy. Collect free boosters everyday without playing. Believe me, gives your more satisfaction than playing. I do it all the time.
