Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5142 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 5142 Candy Crush Saga is an ingredients level, you have to collect 4 cherries to complete the level. The cherries are on the board but they are locked in licorice strings and surrounded by licorice and crystal candies.
You will need to make special candies, especially wrapped candies, to clear the waffles and open up the board so that you can start to clear the crystal candies and licorice and get to the ingredients. There are two cherries at the top right and two bottom left. Once the cherries are unlocked they will drop out of the exits fairly easily, you just need to clear the space below the candy canes so that they have space to drop out.

Got this 2nd go, no useful tips here so started with dbl cb and used coconut wheel
Hating it. Get 2 or 3 each time. Seems random when the ice will clear. Been using coconut. One time they only fell on conveyor. Wtf?

If you can break up the licorice stripes will drop that you can swap to get the ingredients.
I did have to use a UFO to get the last one with only 1 move left.

Finding this level very difficult indeed. I can only get 2 cherries and not even close to the other 2. I need a lucky board please king.
And now they have taken away the re-set. Can not longer re-set the board without loosing a life.

Was so nice of King to give free play time this week during COVID19 stay-at-home orders. Sadly, I am just spinning my wheels here at this level. Finally got down to one cherry with coconut wheel but I have no boosters left and never close now. Seeing what needs to be done vs. the amount of moves, nowhere near doable.

Licorice BE GONE!
I am no longer enjoying playing this game. On this particular level (more than a week now) I get to make many special candies but they do not open up the board or release the cherries. Either the board is warped or King just likes to f..k us over time after time.
This level borders on impossible! I’ve used every combo I can think of, and used all my specials. No luck!!!

Well my lucky streak seems to be over for now. We had a silly level that needed one move and now we have an impossible level that seems to need 100! Not much fun here and if that wasnt enough we still.have those hidden candies discriminating against people with less than perfect eyesight and those horrible canes! All in all not much fun!!!!!!
I wondered when my candy crush career would end and here we are. Watched the video nothing like my screen. Dont get it so probably time to quit. Its been fun mostly but i just cant see how this level can work with the layouts we get and number of moves and those hidden candies. I might pop back in occasionally if i am really bored.

Another level I only clear one side of.... sometimes!!!

This level is nothing like the video. With only 17 moves, it is truly impossible to pass. Even if I could unlock and collect the keys with 6 moves, that leaves 11 moves and with the multiple 5 level blockers under the cherries, there is no way. Tried many coconut wheels without success. Getting frustrated and bored!!
Okay. Finally passed. Used a precious UFO once I had only two cherries left to collect. So glad to be passed this one.
This level looks completely different from the example so looking for some luck! Again!

Cookie's tips & Video were NO help--totally different game. Rotten developers took away 8 precious MOVES. Every level techs change the game to make it Harder--forces Players to BUY moves & booster. Greedy Pig CC King doesn't give any FREE Moves.

17 moves to get 2 cherries down amidst licorice, blockers and other things I forget what they’re called. That’s just to start off. You have to get the 2 cherries exited before the other 2 show up. We all know what they want. They want you to buy more moves. Impossible otherwise. Seriously! Impossible otherwise.
I can’t even get the first 2 cherries even CLOSE to exit before I run out of those measly 18 moves.
Wake up! CC give only impossible levels in the hope you buying boosters which don’t help you at all!

There’s no chance of winning this stupid level, there’s far too many tasks and not enough moves.
Now on top of that they ask you to have friends where you get to play extra goes and when you tick the box they don’t get added so there’s another waste of time. How much more are king going to take away,I’ve not been able to reset the board for 1000’s levels and there’s no freebies anymore.
I HATE when you say "you just"! And the board is different from what you describe. And there are much less moves. So, the only solution is the same as ever, a lucky board pls
This level is a joke. Superhard - then within the nex 6 levels there are another two superhard, one nightmare and one hard??! This will take around two months to pass. Nightmare is usually three weeks or more, superhard 2-3 weeks and hard in the best of cases 1-2.
