Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5408 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Since the developers are releasing 45 or more levels each week I will not be able to write tips for every level. By now you should be expert at most challenges. I will post videos and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Level 5408 is a straightforward jelly level so you just need to make as many colourbombs and colourbomb combos as possible to clear the candy curls and jelly and complete the level.

Worked straight down the middle to make a color bomb and then combined CB's and wraps.

A colorbomb/stripe combo early on was the key to finishing this level for me.
Now we have boring and impossible levels instead of horrible and impossible. Not sure it is worth wasting time. All you do is wait for a lucky board.
Impossible again! Wants you to buy moves/boosters. Time quit! Where the fun gone

Without boosters, I came nowhere close to pass this level. Finally, I used my colorbomb, stripe/wrap, and fish boosters to start. Fortunately, my board started with the colorbomb next to the fish (though next to a wrap or stripe might have been just as good) and was off and running to pass the level with several moves remaining. I am not sure what is going on with this game lately as this is the 3rd week I have had problems passing any of the games. I am on each game for at least a week if not more. This game is just the same. Come on KING make playing this game fun as it is supposed to be. LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, LUCKY BOARD PLEASE, just give us a break.
Fish booster is of no use as I only get two. Haven’t been closer than 25 to go. It appears that this is truly the end of the line for me as a lucky board is not forthcoming. Maybe it’s for the best.
