Hints and tips showing how to pass level 5579 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 5579 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to collect 5 cherries and clear the jelly to complete the level.
You can't rely on luck to clear this level, you have to time your moves very carefully. If you time things right you can collect the first 4 cherries at once. To do this you will need all the colourbombs unlocked before you switch then and all the cherries sitting on top of portals.
Look at the image below which will show where the portals are in relation to the exits.
From the image you can see where the cherries need to be sitting when you clear the candy from the exit that corresponds with the portal.
While you are working on collecting the cherries you will also be clearing the jelly from the bottom part of the board.

I still cant see how to get the 5th ingredient out. Help!
I really don't understand what makes the cherries fall. I manage to make 3 of them fall, but I don't see how I did it. Then I have no more moves for two last ones. Help !

Probably the most difficult level of this episode. See the diagram carefully once it is crucial to have the cherries in that position and clear the candy in the exit at that exact moment. Good luck everyone 🍀
Finally understood and made it after loosing some many boosters
This was a really hard level because of the timing. But the timing is everything. You need to focus on unlocking keys as you are clearing out jelly from the bottom. Once you unlock the first double colorbombs you need to see where the ingredients are. If the colorbombs you have unlocked are what cookie marked as orange 1 and purple 2, you need to wait to switch the colorbombs together when the cherries are at the portal exits green 1 and orange 2. When they are, you need to switch the colorbombs together right then. At least 2 cherries will drop. Look for the next key and unlock making the best moves you can to remove jelly in the meantime. But do your best to get to the keys as soon as possible. When you unlock the next set of colorbombs you need to make sure the keys are where Cookie marked purple 3 and orange 4. Then you switch them together. I found that switching the colorbombs together at the right time collected all of my ingredients. I did also have to use a hand switch to move my cherry back a space to be in position for switching my 2 colorbombs together. You don’t have time to wait for them to move back around the track. When I finally beat the level my colorbombs were as I described but I imagine it could have just as easily been the other set that was unlocked first. (I did not have any luck winning as Cookie suggested when I unlocked both sets and switched them both together . I was able to get 4 cherries out that way but then never could get the 5th one out. I tried her way many times. Then I found unlocking one set at a time worked best) Look at Cookies diagrams until you understand what you need to do. I don’t think there is any other way to pass. I tried striped wrapped etc when cherries were at portals and none of those moves worked.

It worked 2nd time after studying the chart. You don't want too many boosters to start.
This is just Stupid hard. I've gotten down to 1 cherry over and over but can't get the last one. Why is this so ridiculous?
It is all about placement and using the colour bombs one set at a time! I was never able to get that final ingredient though until I somehow had a double colour bomb sitting there and waited until the final one was in position then set it off!

The left 2 drop points (whitish) go to the left 2 green down arrows. Used the double cb for the first 2 cheeries. Use stripe to let the 3rd cherry drop. Use the 2nd double cb to finish the last 2 cherries when they are on top if the whitish drop points

THey have should made level 5000 end OF the road because all levels in this are IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE THEY WANT US TO BUY BOOSTERS,MOVES AND LOLLIES AND THATS BS AND CHEATING TIME TO QUIT!!!!!
Okay, King, you've really come up with a new way to aggravate your loyal players. I finally managed to collect the 5th cherry but still had a couple of jellies left. IT WOULD NOT LET ME BUY EXTRA MOVES TO FINALLY FINISH THIS LEVEL! This happened twice so I clearly have no possibility of passing. Play fair, mr. King!

Just read Cookies advices, that's help enough. After reading it, made it the first try, starting without boosters and using one hammer for the last cherry (had only 1 move left). Thank you, Cookie (plus thank you, lucky board).
Did it on the next try after reading the explanation.

At one point I cleared all the jelly and needed to drop the last cherry, which didn’t drop because I have no idea about the timing and placement. I hate this level. I don’t know why we get a few fun levels and then this crap. Robs the game of the joy. Says there’s no lucky board. I don’t care. I’m either waiting for the lucky board or a miracle for clarity and understanding.

Ok, finally passed this level. I could see the exits, but I couldn’t understand where the portals are. Anyway, collect the keys, open the board, then concentrate on dropping the cherries. The cherries need to be in the middle of the top where there I are groups of three. I started with the started boosters. I needed a hammer to finish off the last jelly. This was a tricky level. I hope the next one grants us a breather.

One cherry fails to drop....☹️
Just follow the instructions re the exit points and fruit. Make sure that you get the jelly too - I almost forgot about that! Achieved with a few hammers after 4 goes.

I passed first go afterreading the tip. I had the two left chocolate bombs unlocked when the first four cherries were lined up. The last cheery went with the other two chocolate bombs. Best to use them separately I reckon.

I've read cookies tips and Diane's tips and I still don't understand where the last cherry comes out! I hate this level. I need a lucky board please.
Still here and not an inch forward have I moved. I still can't suss out where the last one goes. Patience is dwindling by the second.
After reading the instructions from Cookie and looking at the diagram, I won it instantly. Place the ingredient in the middle on the conveyor as per the diagram and it goes through the respective portals. Even better, use the double colour bombs when the ingredients are in position.
I can't figure out where the portals are help!
I use game nr. 1. Short and extremely easy.

Done. Quitting for good. This was the final straw. I hated this game for years for fun...not to have to agonize over perfect strategy for a silly game. There are many other games for sheer fun. Sadly this is no longer one of them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I followed your directions and I completed 5579 on my first try. Just make sure your cherry is in the same position when you are trying to get the 4 th and 5th cherry to drop. Thank you again!
I come to this page often. I have never posted a comment before now. I was having a little trouble with this level. I looked at the diagram. It made total sense! I went back and won this level on my first try after looking at the diagram. Thank You Cookie!!
Cookie King did not tell us how to get the 5th Cherry to exit the board. I have got all 4 Cherries to exit with multiple moves left but cannot get the 5th cherry to exit.
I never would have completed this level without Cookie's diagram so thank you Cookie!! For the 5th cherry: when it's at one of the portals, hit the corresponding exit (see the numbers on Cookie's diagram) with a vertical stripe, a stripe/wrap combo, or use a hammer. (I also used a stripe/wrap combo to clear the exits for #3 and #4 cherries after I messed up the second double CB.)
This is an anxiety level! Not Good! The 5th cherry won't drop. been at the right portal every time. Angry and frustrated,

After the 4 CB combine and there's one ingredient left, I have been unable to clear any one of the needed exits with a vertical stripe. I also have not been able to clear all the jelly.
It would be so lovely to have boosters.

Thank you for the tips...really helped. For the 5th cherry, wait till it's in spot..1,2,3 or 4 and if you are lucky enough to have a color bomb, use it on a candy of the same color of one of the candies in the exits on the top right. That will get the last one.

OK, I read the blog and studied the plan. Then I set to work on the keys - somehow, it all worked - done with 13 moves left!! Thanks to Cookie's magic (or was it because King felt guilty for keeping me on 5577 for four days??)
The fifth cherry is the only problem. Don't waste time trying to work out how to make it drop below any of the portals, because there is no logic. I eventually found one easy way. Clear the first four cherries by getting the keys and then swapping the two upper colour bombs, either two at a time or all at once, when the cherries are over the portals; it doesn't matter what order you do this in if two at a time.
Then create one more colour bomb. When the last cherry is over a portal, swap this with either a stripe or a wrap, et voilà.

Fifth cherry is a bitch, had it over a portal 3 times, then hit with a vertical stripe and it did not drop.
