Hints and tips showing how to pass level 6170 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: You have to clear the four spawners and collect licorice to complete the level. The spawners will give you most of the licorice so you shouldn't destroy them all before you have enough licorice on the board. You can destroy some of the spawners as long as you leave at least one to give you the licorice you need. You need to unlock the bottom two spawners before they will spawn any licorice.
You may find it helpful to use a lucky candy booster to give you some of the licorice so that you can destroy the spawners earlier. At the time of writing there are no videos made without boosters but the following video was made using one hammer.

Impossible without lots of boosters. The spawners have to be hit like 5 times. Ridiculous.

Agreed, added the "check mark" booster suggested by Cookie, needed a hammer to get the last spawner, done for now, collecting stickers this week, still getting lots of "sugar drops" when playing older levels for non-timed boosters, fingers crossed!!! Good luck everyone...
They gave the boosters back for one week then changed the sugar drops to only 5 a game. So there is no chance to build up any boosters. I am so getting ready to delete this game because at this point it uses too much battery. Without the special boosters, you have no chance of winning.

Yes very annoyed that the sugar drops have been reduced to only 5 per level. I used to enjoy spending an hour in the morning having my coffee and collecting sugar drops, then another hour in the evening collecting them again. I don’t have time to do 36 levels to collect sugar drops so I may just try and find another game to play. This used to be fun but without boosters it’s impossible to clear levels. King, not impressed with this decision!

This level is crap. I was able to get rid of the spawners only to realize too late that I didn't have enough licorice. So frustrating! Also no longer getting the opportunity to watch an ad at the end of a game for a chance to win 5 more moves. I've been playing this game for years but I think I'm finally ready to find a new hobby.
After a day of playing without boosters, I finally passed this level, just now, with the help of 2 lollipop hammers. Just as has been said, the level felt more like work than a game.

This really is a nightmare level how on earth you're to clear the chocolate to start with then the liquorice blocks any chance of hitting the spawners which I know you need but come on King this is 😡😡😡😡😡😡 I'm thinking its time to say byebye after all these years of playing cc but it's not fun anymore

The WORST LEVEL. I'll try a few more times, biu really - only way is a lucky board.
This is by far, the worst level. Not enough moves, boosters are gone, and so is my patience. Too stressful. I have more fun shoveling 2 feet of snow during blizzard conditions. Come on, lucky board please.

I played this level about 50x before passing. It was a combination of skill (at that point I had picked up a few ideas) and luck. First, get down into the bottom of the board asap. You have to keep the chocolate under control. When I cleared it all worked best. Second, and this is key, keep making moves under the stripe dispenser! The special candies are the difference between pass and fail. Completed with no boosters, so it can be done. Good luck everyone!
Another impossible bullshit level
This level was marginally interesting the first 20 or 30 times but now it’s just boring. After 10-20 attempts CC should provide a winnable board.

Estou preso neste nível faz 10 dias, sem nenhuma estratégia, apenas sorte. Meu conselho para este nível é não usar e não comprar reforços, é isto que eles querem que você faça, melhor opção é deletar o CC.
miracle board needed to pass this crazy maddening level. All I get is licorice covering the board---hit spawners 5 X?
CC KING sees I paid big bucks to pass other levels---knows a SUCKER so i get nothing but crappy boards.
Thought I would play to level 7000----no way spending MONEY --the rotten evils spawns (developers)) of CC KING can KMA.
