Hints and tips showing how to pass level 6405 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 6405 is classified as a hard level so you may lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is an orders level, you have to collect countdown bombs and ingredients to complete the level.
The ingredients are locked under marmalade and need uncovering by hitting with stripes or by making fish, the fish will either target the bombs or the ingredients so you need a bit of luck. Once the ingredients are uncovered from the marmalade they will make their way to the exits along the conveyor.
As long as you can make combos to clear the licorice the bombs will drop from the dispenser, but they don't drop every move so it can be tricky to get enough.

Bombs seem impossible
I added lucky booster what gives me one extra fish and passed it
I did that but didn’t work for me, trying hard

Caved and paid for 5 extra moves, even though I only needed one.
Was able to start with CB/CB combo from full "build-a-bot", gave a good start, then got lucky with extra moves spin, tricky...
Will need a lucky board for sure

Posting for a lucky board. Grueling level - explosions happen in record time.
For me, this was a very difficult level, but someone earlier had mentioned using the check mark and got fish. I just used the check and it placed the bombs up into the playing area. Once I had enough bombs I could concentrate on the fish. Worked first try!

Imho not possible without check booster, as getting enough bombs is the main problem. Check booster gave me those missing bombs. But even when I had enough bombs, it simply was often not possible to free the ingredients from jelly as there are only 2 possibilities to hit them (when they are up on the belt) and very often liquorice was in the way. Tried 10 times without check and 5 times with check booster - finally used 2 hammers on the ingredients, as I run out of checks and didn't see another chance (except trying 50 times until the elusive lucky board comes by).

Yet again we have another extremely difficult nightmarish level where the bombs do not cooperate all you get is licorice..... It took me days and days to finally get off 6404 only to be thrown into another level that I’m sure I’ll be stuck here for days!
Check marked worked on my second try. Read the above comments after first attempt and went with check next. Did have a full bot though. But not two CB’s together.

wayyy too many licorice and not nearly enough bombs. stripes that do drop usually not vertical. this is no way to "swipe the stress away..." pfl please.
Tried a bunch of times w/no success. Always short 1 or 2 bombs. Even if conveyor is clear, they don’t drop.
Right now, I’m on my last move. Need 2 bombs, have all fruit. One bomb just dropped. If I use my free spin now, may not have another drop in time. Don’t know what to do. Aarrgh!
Damn it. Got a stupid CB instead of +5, of course. Really don’t wanna pay the 10 gold. Tired of this stupid level though.

Why is it that you are making levels impossible without boosters ? Could I just get a lucky board as I have no intention of buying boosters and you’ve made it impossible to earn any !! Too bad and so sad , this used to be such a fun game !!

It took me a while to figure it out, but in order to keep the bombs dropping you need to make sure that no liqorice remains on the conveyor as it moves out the right. This will block anything new falling from the dispenser on the left. As soon as I did this I was able to get enough and finished the game.
Now that's a tip, unlike most of Cookie's these days, which are more like instructions than tips :-(

Lucky board need it very badly right now
This is another frustrating level that is difficult to pass without boosters. Jax, your tip is very helpful about clearing the licorice since it moves left to right in order to get more bombs. I was down to last move with 1 bomb left, and I hit a fish but of course it did not go for the bomb! Going to be on this level for awhile CC. Posting for a miracle board!
The fish DO NOT target the bombs or the ingredients. They seem to target random stuff.
How is it even possible to pass this one. Bombs don’t drop quick enough even though I’ve gotten rid of the licorice. So frustrating!

What a BS level! Stripe dispensers across the top yield horizontal stripes of no use 8 out of 10x. The fish target useless squares. I had 9 moves to get one bomb and there were no licorice on the conveyor. Only ONE showed up after my next to last move. I used a hammer to finish it off and be done with this rigged level. You can do better, King! You don't have to cheat us to make $$$.
