Hints and tips showing how to pass level 6888 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 6888 is an orders level, you have to destroy the two cakes and the two spawners to complete the level.
Work on clearing the cakes and they will uncover and collect the keys, the keys will unlock the spawners.
If you get a colourbomb you can use it to uncover the keys, if the keys are collected before the cakes this means the cakes will hit the spawners when they detonate.
Once the cakes are cleared you need to keep popping the bubblegum using wraps or stripes or any combo you can make. The bubblegum will hit the spawners as it pops and this will help to destroy them. The bubblegum will take over very quickly if you don't keep making combos.

PITA level. And King have gone back to you losing all your booster bot progress if you fail a level.
Any clues on how o pass this level? Got down to one spawner and thats as close as I've gotten.
I guess this is the end of the road for me... Wasting all my boosters and not even getting close. What a bummer.

Happened to get a color bomb and had 2 keys same color after one cake already smashed used the colour bomb on the keys then the last cake smashed and used a UFO and done with heaps of moves left
Passed once I read Cookies strategy. Use colour bombs to collect the keys first then the cakes will blast the bubblegum and destroy the spawners.

Got rid of cakes and they got rid of keys. Bubblegum was relentless. Will try to get rid of keys first
In my experience, it doesn’t matter which goes first the cakes or the keys. Bubblegum is ridiculous. Need lu my board

I like the way cb’s appear in the video. I can barely get 3 together in the beginning then I only have 5 shots left.
The key to this level is getting the keys cleared before the cakes. Use colored bombs or hammer and get rid of the keys. When the cakes get exploded the cascade clears the board
By the time I’m able to play the board I only have a few lives left. But then it’s quickly covered. I hate games like this, you have no chance, except to wait for a lucky board.

How on earth do you collect the keys first???? Startede with a bomb from the bot and a booster bomb, still nowhere near. Help!!!!!

WTH kinda level is this..how can you possibly get the keys before the cakes when they are covered in sugar!!
Ok..i cleared 1 key before the 1st cake using CB.cleared cakes 1 at a time used hammer to clear second key after the 1st cake explosion knocked off the sugar..so had both keys hit before i cleared the 2nd cake and that did it

I Amat my wits end! Can’t get even close! Used lots of boosters and still not close! Please send lucky board ASAP!
Wow. Just wow. The first time in over a month that I finally build my “candy bag” (used to be bot) and this level crushes that. I even went in with all boosters possible. Only had one check available and wasted that. Is not helpful on this level. I also have free stripe+wrapped for 30 minutes...it’s not much help either. Ugh! Need lucky board.

Tried cookies advice, uncovered keys osing cb booster then wasted 2 hammers collecting keys, bubblegum spawned rediculously fast until I couldn't make any moves and got the oops! Won't do that again! 3 boosters wSted, what a stupid rediculously impossible level!!!
Followed advice getting the first key before the cake worked great...passed without boosters

What a horrible level - pfl, as nothing I'm doing so far has worked!
I started with a colourbomb and stripe/wrap - luckily, both keys were the same colour and then I managed to make another colourbomb which self-detonated but (luck, again) hit the keys to clear them. Then the cakes did most of the rest. Hope this helps.

You have to combine at least one colourbomb with the colour of one of the keys. The cakes will do the heavy lifting. It shouldn't be too hard to get the spawners after that. But you've got to get at least one key or and you might as well give up at that point. I was getting nowhere until I came here.

Help
Cleared the cakes and collected keys, hitting the spawners a few times along the way. Then bubblegum took over. I used 3 hammers to finish off the spawners. Good luck everyone.

One of the worst levels in a very long time. Bubble gum just takes over way to quickly, at the moment it seems impossible. Just gotta wait for that lucky board I guess.

What a joke this level is. Once u finally cleat the cakes the bubblegum keeps covering whatever progress u have made in clearing it. King needs to change the game to make it possible
