Hints and tips showing how to pass level 6989 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 6989 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to collect the cherries and clear the jelly to complete the level.
You can forget about the cherries, they will be collected as you work on clearing the jelly. Treat this as a normal jelly level and look for any chances to make special candies and combos to clear the waffles and bubblegum.

The jellies 3rd row from the top, left & right side are the toughest to get, a CB helped here when they are the same color, good luck!

I’ve been playing this for over a week. Absolutely ridiculous. Can’t even get close. Why make this so difficult when it’s not even listed as being nightmarish. This is a nightmare.
This game is not enjoyable anymore!
