Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8524 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8524 is an orders level, you have to collect waffles and cherries to complete the level. To begin with look carefully at the candies and try to make wrapped candies in the bottom part of the board. This will clear a lot of the sugar coats and start to unlock the order locks. The cherries are under the order locks in the top part of the board and once they begin to be unlocked they will drop into the bottom part of the board from where they can be dropped to the exits. This sounds easier than it is since the sugar coats can still cause a headache. Once you get the board a bit cleared try to make stripe/wrap combos that will help to clear the waffles and sugar coats as well as collect the cherries.

I agree with everyone else. Lucky board is needed. Boosters didn’t even help. Only have a few left so I won’t be wasting it on this level.

BORING BORING!!! Got a CB on spin...what good does it do? Can’t set anything up because the only move available you have to use the CB. And not on anything good, just on plain candy and usually it only has 1 or 2 like colors. What a boring level. Hope I get a lucky board to move on to something more fun.

Don't waste your boosters, I did until they were gone. I managed to get out by having a speckled next to a wrapped on the board and the game was won. Next game is easy, just needs a little thought x
On my iPad this is a hard level and getting nowhere at all. Help!

In agreement with the other posts. Days on 1 level is not fun and these coated boards are hard on the eyes. This one is a bit easier to see through but doesn't help since it doesn't matter. Uuuuuggh.
Absolutely designed to make you waste all your boosters. Had 1 waffle left, launched the flying saucer and it didn't even come close to it. NOT radom, NOT luck, just devious development

I don’t even think a lucky board will help! So tired of this level.
Day 4 on the same level. If you are here wanting a lucky board - forget it - there’s no lucky board for this level. You have to just play it over 100 times. So boring!
This needs a new classification: HORRIBLE
Never mind the classification, it needs to be made easier. It took four days to finally complete the level and I still won the race to the end of the episode. That's saying something.
I played on my android and started with 'watch three ads' colour bomb, stripe and wrap, and a fish and watched ads at the end to get 5 extra moves, and I needed them all. The ads aren't always there and never on my PC so I got really lucky.
Not that boosters always work on this level as they are stuck in layers of sugar coats. Moves are often limited with reshuffles. By some miracle I had a double colour bomb but all that cleared were six waffles and left me with a board where it was hard to make moves.
This level is not fun and is mostly based on getting a lucky boards.

I give up. I’ve played this level for over two weeks, 100’s of lives lost. Used all available boosters. Adios Candy Crush! This level is a money grab, and I will not pay to play yet another level. I’ll play Crossword Jam for now…at least I can use skill instead of buying my way forward.

And once again, King has decided to take a nearly impossible board and make it harder by reducing the moves. I don't think the two extra moves in the example, though, would have gotten me through this.
