Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8606 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8606 is a normal jelly level, you have to clear all the jelly to complete the level. First collect the keys to unlock the board, then look for chances to make special candies and combos to clear the blockers and jelly.

It was hard enough already and all of a sudden there are cages around the licorice! What for?
Adding those cages totally took the fun out of the level. It makes it very hard to get the first key and then you can't get the other ones. Need lots of lucky combos.

Absolute shit of a level, don't waste you boosters, you will NOT pass this level just with skill,,,, only pass when the algorithm decides you've had enough,,,, two days, almost continually "playing" , just bashing away, never came anywhere near until, my turn,,, thanks KING, don't understand the reason for this stupidity, just to make the weeks allowance to last, maybe,,,

Since Cookie posted the video, they've added two of those dreadful black blockers around the first key and reduced the moves from 32 to 30. It's not even marked as a hard level and it deserves a nightmare rating. You'll need a lucky board or a lot of boosters.

I think we have to get used to the unfairness of this game. The elite players get more moves and less difficult levels. Not always, mind you, because I know they also have some hard levels that end up being nerfed (made easier) for us followers.
But I still can not accept making levels HARDER! CC's objective is quite clear: to get our money, nothing else.

classed as very hard on my board. It will take a while to get this one I'm sure, but at least it's a nice "bouncy" game so not too tedious. Would love a lucky board though please !

Today I was going to make my first post on King Community, that's difficult, I logged in and couldn't find out where to post. So I am stuck on this game and I really don't like it. I do not buy boosters so will hope for a lucky board. I will add that if someone has reached this level and can log into the King Community then I should be able to post a message. 😡 Very angry.

Another level that you have to wait for them to dictate when you win. No sense using your boosters up on this one because even with them you can’t win! Classic.

Getting tired of wasting time on getting nowhere on this level. Could not believe a pop up with a “deal” to buy boosters had the caption that most people need to buy boosters to pass this level. Not paying to win. Just waiting for a better board.

Day 3. I agree with th3 players who say i5 has nothing to do with skill and all about waiting for the lucky board. Please end this agony. It looks so simple but there simply aren’t enough moves.

Over 70 posts and not one person has discovered a trick or a scale to pass this level. It really is just a level that expects you to pay to pass. I do by the pig every month as my user fee. But the month isn’t over yet and this is day five and I am disgusted. If anyone comes back and finds the key to passing please share. Bored, loosing interest in playing, and going to find something less obvious in a “pay to play” game.

I’ve noticed that the last few episodes require extra moves to pass almost every level. I have no intention of buying any boosters or gold bars so it looks like I will just flounder on with these ridiculous levels.

I don't know what to for anymore. There are no tips or tricks, I'm not paying for extra moves, have played daily and used all my lives from friends that are allowed daily, I've asked for a lucky board, watched the video and played until I felt frustratingly brainless. Do the same thing over and over... Why should I expect a different result??? Now I'm reduced to begging.... Please please please let me move on
Feeling like this has become a battle of wills...! Who will give in first? King, by allowing me to pass or me by buying my way out. Not gonna be me! If this goes on much longer, I'll sadly have to say goodbye.
