Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8842 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8842 is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose some lives before youy manage to pass it. This is an orders level, you have to collect chocolate and licorice to complete the level. You will need a bit of luck to complete this level as you'l need some good cascades at the end to complete the orders.
The best candies to use for this level are wrapped candies as these will brek through the licorice curls and sugar coats to collect the orders. When you get a colourbomb use it to unlock the two wraps in the middle of the chocolate so that you can switch them together to make a start on the chocolate there. Colourbomb/wrap combos are also very good if you can make them. As the board begins to open up don't waste moves making matches of three as you won't have enough moves, concentrate on making combos for the best chance of passing. The video took 6 attempts to complete and the first 5 I was nowhere near so don't give up if you seem to be getting nowhere.

Awful level. Only a lucky board and lots of double CB can solve this nightmare. Good luck everyone 🍀
Very difficult level, and you end up wasting the first few moves as it’s tough to make combos. I made moves near the upper right to get two wrapped to drop from the far right slot, so switched those to open up the board some. Cookie’s last thought is spot on: if you manage to open up the original chocolate area on the right, some decent cascades will start and clear a lot of stuff. I’m bad about closing out a round if it looks impossible but don’t do that on this level because of the cascades.

Nearly did this on first go,not enough liquorice 5 short despite still having another 4 goes.attack the top and middle right hand side to start cascade and watch the liquiorice count.Good luck.

What a load of BS. I cant even get 6 of the 65 chocolates needed. This game is impossible. I cannot see how to pass this without spending a small fortune. No way GREEDY king.

OK. I am now up to 30 extra moves but I am not going to pay for them because I only buy the pig once a month. There is no strategy for this game that I can see. It’s just boring boring boring slugfest. I have tried some of the tricks people mentioned but I am suspicious that anyone who passed has either paid Or had an extremely lucky board. Help!

Focusing on upper right and getting wrapped candies is the way to go. Cleared more the first time I tried this. Had one move left and didn't think it would clear what was left but it did!🥳

Impossible! I have 24 moves and the videos have 32. This is scandalous! I’m so fed up with this game. No more perks. Never get gold bars anymore unless we buy them. King is holding its players back and I will be quitting this game. It is so unfair and stressful. We are suppose to be enjoying this. It’s a game! It shouldn’t be a competition with King. Goodbye!
Wow! This level is no longer a challenge to players as King would say it is. I like a challenge if it’s a fair game. This is not! The King workers have to stop interfering in the game. It is not possible to get this level with 24 moves with interference by King. Time to leave this game altogether. I used to enjoy the challenge but not anymore.
So sad…time for me to leave CC. After 3 days on this level playing on multiple devices most times can’t even set off the two wraps. Need twice the amount of moves I have which is already less than this video!

When the game designers can’t develop a strategy they just throw in a bunch of obstacles and limit the moves.
Had 14 remaining licorice candies to clear but there weren’t any on the board… WTF??

Bloody ridiculous level! Why does every level have to be so hard! Of course it’s because CC only want you to pass levels after you pay $$$$s. Criminal in my opinion!
