Hints and tips showing how to pass level 8854 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 8854 is a jelly level and there is jelly over the whole board so everything has to be cleared to complete the level. The first thing to do is clear the sour skulls to open up the board and then collect the keys. These both need to be done in as few moves as possible so you have plenty of moves left to clear the blockers and jelly.
Colourbombs and colourbomb combos may be the only way to complete this level as there are not many moves and a lot of blockers to clear. Treat this as a normal jelly level and use as many combos as you can to blast the board until it is cleared. The video has been changed a lot since the videos were made, it has been made slightly easier but the moves have been reduced. The following video is the best one available at the time of writing.

Not sure how this level has been made easier as you now need 147 jellies instead of 70 ,the licorice is now covered in sugar coats and the chocolate is thicker plus the 9 moves less....getting nowhere near passing this one
Should be labelled a hard level. Can't get to the keys in so few moves and chocolate blocking them.
Very difficult level, not enough moves. in the help video there are 35 moves, actually getting 26 :(

By the time you get rid of the sour skull you can't get to the keys fast enough through all the layers of chocolate and then the spawners keep covering things up and they're out of the way to get rid of them. And getting double color bombs on your 0 move doesn't help much either!
Ridiculous level. You can't get to the skulls because of the licorice and you're lucky if you have 10 levels left after getting rid of them. That's not enough enough to get to the keys under all the chocolate levels and get rid of the spawners.
Why is this not a nightmarishly hard level? I'm not even getting close. 😡
It's incredible how the last three levels are so impossible. I really think King is becoming mad! To reduce moves and add difficulties to levels is insane and unfair.
No chance of passing this without some changes. Are you listening King? Are there any lucky boards coming??

After countless tries got the elusive lucky board, got some CB/wrap & CB/stripe like the video, helped get tricky bottom right/left corners, waiting to finish to get last "sticker" for UFO, good luck!
Finally passed this horror level but had to use a ufo and 2 hammers to do it
This level is now a real insult and slap in the face for us, because of the level of difficulties King has added. How can he be so unfair and inconsiderate for us who have been playing this game for years now. This is it for me, I've had it!

This last episode has been one nightmare level after another and this one is TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!

Only 26 moves now AND double chocolate in the corners, not even close to what is shown.
I'm done with CC too. Most levels now have way too few moves. To pass a level requires no skill at all - just an extremely large number of very lucky chain reactions.
I agree: very difficult level. After you know who knows how many tries I managed to get passed this level, using a CB, wrapped candy, fish, a hand and a hammer. And of course I had an EXTREMELY lucky board, because without you can't even get close and that is the case with almost all the levels in this episode. I would love to see a difficult level again, where skill is required, not plain luck or a lucky board.

After you get the skulls, try to open the board up with big explosions. Trying to get to the keys will cost you too many moves. Big explosions will set of those fish-dispensers and the fish will eat the chocolate. Also, the cascades will will give you colorbombs. In the end you get so many of those, that you can have your go at blasting away the whole board. Passed without any boosters, you can do it too.

In what world is this actually considered a normal level is extremely difficult entirely too much going on not nearly enough moves..... wtf king how is this not marked a nightmare of a nightmare level
Another very difficult level not marked as such. Nila keyboard. Don’t waste your boosters. Can’t even get close and I have free boosters. Awful
Still stuck on this crap level. I thought I had the lucky board but in the end I still had more than 20 squares left to get. Definitely not enough miles for all the crap that Hass to be done on this level PFL
Fish booster, lucky board and Extra moves helped to conquer this underrated very difficult level
