Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9174 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9174 is classified as a hard level so you may lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a dual task level, you have to clear all the jelly and use the frog 5 times to complete the level. Make sure you keep growing and using the frog as there is no point clearing the jelly if you don't use the frog enough times. Once the frog is grown the easy way to grow it again is to place it where it will match with two other candies of the same colour.
There is a UFO at the bottom of the board which will be unlocked as you collect the keys. Use this as soon as it is free to clear the corners of the board.

Totally impossibile. Impossibile to grow the from. Pay level, pay game as udusl you go ahead only if you buy. I don't accept the king's steal. I have never paid, I'll never pay. KING! STOP WITH THIS ROBBERY!!!
I still haven't passed this level, but came here to see if Cookie is back and SO GLAD SHE IS!! I really missed her tips and all the comments from those ahead of me. Anyway, I can't believe that I got this far w/o knowing the trick about re-growing the frog that Cookie mentions in this post. I had been struggling with BOTH clearing the jelly and using the frog 5x (5!!!) and now I can concentrate on the jelly!!

I finally made it!
I followed Cookie's advice and put the grown frog besides two same color candies as the frog. That helped a lot. Then, once the UFO was released, (and there aren't many moves left after that...) I kept playing a little and when I had 3 moves left, I launched my only UFO and it cleared the rest of the jellies.

I am losing interest in this game!
These last 2 days, I’ve hardly played, which is a big sign for me.
Took today off thinking fresh eyes would see some way of completing this level. So hard. Not enough moves.
It's a bit of a lucky board level insomuch as you need enough of the right colours coming down at the right time to pass it, plus you need the keys to drop quickly. I found that concentrating on growing the frog enough times as quickly as possible was helpful, as it opens the board and gets the cascades going. Took me about 15 tries to pass with no boosters.
Lucky board please...i agree these last few have all been very hard..hope we have some fun ones coming up because I'm tiring of this hame!

I am sorry but this trick of placing the frog next to two of the same color as the frog does not make sense. You do not know what color the frog will be next.Placing it next to candies of its current color will not be helpful because it will turn into a different color. Someone please explain,

Level sucks. Day two. Not wasting anymore time. Nothing I do gets me close. Not enough moves as usual. Levels are becoming predictable with not enough moves so pay or don’t pass. No thanks. Have a good day! Single mama here just wants the old cc back where it was fun and fair.

I agree with the poster above in regard to it no longer being fun or fair. Challenging is fine; I like having to figure out a strategy. But this isn’t even the case. Cut us a break.
