Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9256 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9256 is a dual task level, you have to clear the jelly and collect the cherries to complete the level. The cherries will drop out of the exits as soon as they are cleared of caramel. Look carefully at the board and you can see the arrows on each of the exits, these squares need to be cleared and the cherries will drop out. You can use the frog to clear these squares, but this will use moves so might not be the best solution if you only have 24 moves. It might be a better option to use colourbomb combos, switch colourbombs with any other special candy and if you can get two together it might be even better. The moves have been reduced drastically since the level was released and at the time of writing there are no videos made without boosters and I haven't been able to make one. I hope the tips help a little and the following video is the best I can find at the moment.

It’s a nightmare. Look carefully to the path of the cherries in the vídeo because it’s not very clear. In my opinion the frog can be very helpful.

Can't even get close. Need help.
We only have 28 moves. The thing with the moves makes me want to stop. Its so not fair.....Of course it can be passed with with so many more
Reducing the number of moves from 40 to 28 is ridiculous.
9256. Making a level hard is OK but when King repeatedly reduce the number of moves so that it is impossible to pass even with boosters will eventually lead to people quitting CC. People playing 9256 should look at comments at 9259. They say that level is as bad as 9256. I can’t see the sense in playing CC anymore as the game is not fun.

Here I am again hours later. Still unable to pass. I've watched the video many times to see if I can get some kind of hint how to complete this awful level. It's very frustrating that the video has 43 moves. It took 34 moves to pass using boosters yet we now only have 28 moves. The color bombs also appear faster in the video. Two color bombs together three times and I can barely get one without it exploding as soon as it appears. I think we are not supposed to be able to pass this.
9256.I would like to explain how I passed this level and how ridiculous the level was. I played it about 50 times. I started with a color bomb booster and after several moves I got another color bomb and I used a hand to get them together. After a lot of moves when I had only about seven moves left, the bottom two layers were still intact. I used the only ice cream cone I had. It did some
damage. I then used a space ship, but four squares were left and I used four hammers to clean it up. This shows how ridiculous the game has become. The only reason I won was because I had two special boosters left.
Gave up trying to figure out where the cherries went. Won Dexter this morning so went for it, just blasted the whole board managed to get 2 colour bombs together twice, spent 10 gold bars for last move. Cherries looked after themselves!

When it comes to settling on the number of moves that it will allow for any given level, King seems rather indecisive. For some reason, I was privileged to begin this level with 33 moves and managed to pass on the second try without boosters and had 6 moves left. I found use of the frog to be critical: When it first activated, I moved it to col. 2, row 5. When it next activated, I moved it to col. 8, row 5. Thereafter, two additional important placements were col. 2, row 8 and col. 8, row 8. A CB/CB combo helped considerably.
No clue how the cherry trail works. I think more moves are needed. Used my only gold left for 5 more moves, bu5 it was a waste. Don’t know where to put the frog to help the cherries get out. Help!
