Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9618 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9618 is an order level, you have to collect rainbow twists and bubblegum or blockers, depending which version you have on your device, to complete the level. The most recent version appears to be blockers and twists so this is the video I will post below and hopefully it won't change again.
Concentrate on making combos, especially stripe/wrap combos to clear the middle part of the board. As you do this the green candies will be collected and the order locks will be opened. Keep making combos to clear the remaining orders until the level is complete.

I did get a lucky board. Trick it to break the center of the board. I started with just a strip wrap. It wasn’t together, but I managed to break the center which makes it much easier.

I'm working on the 'centre' theory, Christine S, but no luck so far - posting for luck.
I'm not one of the 'it's not fair' brigade - but (if by chance, King read this) it's not very interesting to get levels where it's clearly impossible to get through UNTIL the magic board arrives - then it doesn't feel like success, merely a hand-out. Now, I know I don't pay for this, so perhaps it doesn't give me a voice, but the best levels show you that you can, with clever play, the odd booster and, yes, a bit of luck, have success - gives you something to get your teeth into. This current level, and those like it, is just dreary and makes me uninterested in continuing. Just saying . . .
Impossible greedy king wants you to buy moves/boosters time to quit playing this game because it isn’t fun anymore

I struggled with this for two days before even getting close enough to bother using any boosters. Finally finished by combining a CB with the underappreciated paintbrush. Good luck everyone!🍀

Rosereddragon....well said. Levels like this are pure luck. And not fun even when the lucky board shows up. Oh well, here we, inching closer to the magic 10k mark.
