Hints and tips showing how to pass level 9863 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help!
I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.
Tips: Level 9863 is classified as a hard level so you are likely to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is an ingredient level, you have to collect just one cherry to complete the level. The first job is to use stripes and stripe combos to fire into the top row and clear the caramel squares. You will get stripes dropping into the top column which can be hit to help clear the cartamels. This will unlock the frog and this is the secret to passing the level. Grow the frog and place it on a chocolate square in the bottom part of the board. Keep growing the frog using colourbombs and use it to clear blockers and detonate stripes in the bottom half of the board. Once you have cleared enough blockers to unlock the bubblegum use the frog to clear the bubblegum below the cherry. There is no need to clear all the bubblegum, just enough to let the cherry drop through.

What a ridiculous level!
I've played at least 50 times and have yet been able to break any bubble gum blockers.....ridiculous!
I have absolutely NO IDEA how to break the bubble gum!
Only way to beat this is with a lucky board!

Why does the frog stop charging?
Not sure what's going on here. I had the cherry dropping through to the bottom and there were no jellies underneath. But it stayed in the top square instead falling all the way through like it does in the video.
Impossible!! Help would be appreciated!!
There's a glitch because the cherry does not fall all the way through even if the lane is open.
Keep using the frog in bottom part of the board l passed it on the third try.

When you get the lane cleared and the bubblegum comes up, use a hammer.
Played so many times but still not able to move the cherry. Video made no sense. Beyond impossible

Do as BC. Use a hammer to break the bubblegum and wow. Do exactly what Cookie says also. Print it out and follow it exactly. I played this level more than 30 times. Got it when I did exactly what she said and BC with the hammer. Moving on.
Once the bubblegum is gone the cherry drops into the top square!! No way to move it further down!!!!! All the squares below are empty!!!!
E.M, how did you finally get it to drop????? Or anyone else???

You have to clear a path below the cherry then keep growing the frog and explode him below the bubblegum three times then you need to explode him once more somewhere else so the cherry can fall.

Thanks so much everyone. I did as Peachie and Candy said. Just keep growing frog and get everything on the bottom. I didn’t use a hammer, I put the frog next to the blocker under the cherry and the cherry fell immediately. I still had 6 moves left and didn’t use any boosters. Thanks again!!

I was hoping someone would have given the answer for the Cherry not falling all the way down. Of course not. It’s never like the video. If I get it to drop all the way down I’ll post how I did it in case some else is looking for an answer.

I don’t understand, I did as the video suggested. The cherry dropped but stayed on the first empty square below the bubblegum that had already been blasted. There was nothing blocking the cherry…I played again and this time hitting the bubblegum on the final hit with a hammer lollipop and the cherry fell through the exit…very confusing.

I’m getting so 😡😡with this level as I’m losing so many lives because it just keeps freezing whilst I’m playing so have to switch off and restart again I’m sure there’s a glitch somewhere so cc can you sort it and a very lucky board would be appreciated 🤞🍀
Frog doesn't break bubblegum. Cherry doesn't drop. Pfl quit help
Grow the frog and alternate it back and forth under the bubble gum til it pops and cherry drops.

OK, just passed it. Break the top level to free Cookies and use them to grow the frog. Use the frog to smash as many blockers on the bottom as possible. When the Cherry is released concentrate the frog on the blockers under the cherry drop line and it will fall through to the exist. DONT try to clear everything, just enough to get you through to the next phase each time.
