Level 4050 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a nightmarishly hard level so you are likely to lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a normal jelly level, you have to clear all the jelly to complete the level.
The first job is to clear the marmalade and some licorice to open up the board so you can make better moves. Once you have opened up the board you should be looking for chances to make stripe, wraps and colourbombs. You will need the stripes and wraps to unlock the licorice, but also try to hit the licorice shells with your special candies and combos. Hitting the licorice shells will open them to reveal colourbombs. Try to switch the colourbombs with another special candy if you possibly can as this will hit the fishing floats and give you lots of fish.
Hit the floats as much as you can because the fish will target jelly squares, even if there are other things on top of the jelly. The fish will help to clear the corners of the board which can be tricky to clear otherwise. Apart from the jelly fish the only way to clear the corners is with powerful combos.
Take your time, there is no time limit and nothing will happen while you are thinking about your next move. Think carefully about every move before you make it. Each move should either make a special candy or a combo or switch two special candies together.
