Candy Crush Saga Level 4229 Updated version with new Tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4229 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie Tips and walkthrough video for this level. Even experts sometimes need help! I will post videos for every level and write tips where I think they are needed but otherwise please feel free to give your tips in the comments.

Level 4229 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a super hard level so you may lose some lives before you manage to pass it. This is a normal jelly level, you have to clear all the jelly to complete the level. 

Stripes are the answer to level 4229, as many as you can make. Stripe/wrap combos, stripe/stripe combos and best of all colourbomb/stripe combos. Keep using stripes and stripe combos and the board will be cleared faster than you think.

Don't waste moves making matches of three unless you have no choice, keep looking for those stripes and colourbombs until the board is cleared.

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4229 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

Although level 4229 Candy Crush Saga is not classified as a hard level it is quite tricky to pass, mainly because of the licorice along the top part of the board.

The only way to pass this level is by using colourbomb combos as these will clear the licorice and give you a couple of moves to clear any jelly before it is covered by licorice again. If you get the chance to clear the jelly where the licorice will return do it even if it means leaving a good move elsewhere. Once the jelly is gone from that row you can forget it and work on the rest of the jelly.

There are lots of stripes dropping from dispensers which are useful, but switching them with colourbombs is much better than trying to clear everything just by switching stripes.

You can use the conveyor to get your stripes and colourbombs together easily.

At the time of writing there are no videos made without boosters which shows this is a hard level. I used a jelly fish booster and a colourbomb to complete the video below.
