You have only 13 moves to clear the jelly and complete level 2496 Candy Crush Saga.
The board always starts with the red candies in the same position so by switching the three red candies in the lower part of the board you can make a colourbomb with the red candies higher up.
I found it better to save the colourbomb for a couple of moves to unlock some of the purple candies before using it on the blue bombs. Be careful not to move the colourbomb and blue candies apart when making other moves.
Saving the bombs until they count down a little means that the second lot of bombs are less likely to count down while you are clearing the jelly.
You really need to keep making combos to clear this level as there just aren't enough moves to clear it using matches of three. You also need a bit of luck with cascades so work as close to the bottom of the board as you can so you get some cascades.
Colourbombs are the best way to clear this, more than one will be needed.
I doubt that starting the level with a colourbomb would help much as it may spoil your red colourbomb, likewise a jelly fish booster. Having said that I didn't try using boosters so if you are struggling with this it may be worth a try to see what happens.

How to scroll down to lower level in Candy Crush Saga.

If you like to play lower levels of Candy Crush Saga for sugar drops, or to get more stars etc. You may not know that there is a quick way of getting to the lower levels.
This only works on PC and laptops, it may not work on mobiles.
At the bottom right of the game there is a blue button (see image)

Click or tap on this button and you will see a slider with the episode you are currently playing.
You can slide the square up and down to find a level you want on your current episode, or you can click on the pink triangle at the bottom to take you to the previous episode.
Keep clicking on the pink triangle until you get to the level you want to play.
To get back to the level you are playing simply click on the pink house and it will take you straight back.

Level 2495 is a dual task level, you need to collect the 2 cherries and clear all the jelly.
This can be quite a fun level to play, but also a bit frustrating as the candies move in a continuous loop from to to bottom and back to the top through the portals.
First clear the spawners from the middle, this will allow the cherries to drop out of the exits once you get them in place.
Next start clearing the jelly and keep your eyes on the cherries. When you get a cherry on a conveyor that is moving towards the middle try to keep it there by making moves at the other side of the board. When the cherry gets into the middle make a move lower down to drop it through the exit.
Do the same with the second cherry. The hardest part is getting the cherries onto the correct conveyor as the candies move so much they often fall too far.
You don't want the cherries on the bottom conveyor as there is no exit down there.
