Candy Crush Saga Level 277

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 277 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie

Use the left/right striped candies to loosen two connecting

wrapped candies on the left, but then leave those alone

until the end.

In the right window, work on getting your wrapped

candies. Once you are 8 or 9 away from collecting your

orders, go to the left and break those up. Patience is needed

If the level you play is different from the one here it is because the developers have changed it since I played and I have no control over this. Please let me know on our FB group and I will try to change it.

Any body else having problems on this level?? On the lower right side where the bombs or other candies can come down, if you try to match it with 3 or more or 4 of the same color of bombs fall together they will not move. I get so close. I have had this happen a dozen or more times today alone.

happened to me a few times today too

My problem seems to be that I cannot make anywhere near enough wraps to clear this level. I even struggle when there are no bombs coming down due to keeping a wrapper in situ at the top of the left column. Suppose that it is just down to getting a lucky board.

I haven't had that problem mentioned above, playing on Facebook... I'm just stuck 'cause I can't quite get enough wraps either. It's been a long time now, I'm getting bored with it. Sometimes I just keep trying mindlessly but I've lost my enthusiasm for working hard at it or thinking too much. I think it's overkill to be stuck on a level for so long, it kinda takes the fun out of things. I've come so close to winning now and then, but you know.... just not quite enough moves given, right? So I try to never get my hopes up, especially when it looks like I might make it. A bomb or something will be sure to ruin things!! LOL

Sometimes you can leave enough wraps in the left column that you don't have to deal with any bombs.... that holds the bombs there... but when you do that, you'll have a heck of a time getting a stripe near the top to get the last wraps cleared out too. And without those wraps, I think it's super impossible. Well, even with those wraps it's still impossible... so far. I guess the best is to get a color bomb and stripe but use it near the end if possible.

But what do I know, I can't clear this level!!

Could't agree more with above comments.. Have enjoyed game until now but am very frustrated - what is the purpose of making it so difficult that people quit. It is a shame - not fun to play and a game should be fun. 19 wraps just a little excessive.

Just completed patience is needed, ignore the bombs altogether they go when the candy explodes.

3 days and the boards are getting worse options for moves than at the start. I bloody hate this level!!!

Anonymous said...

Agree absolutely with this writer, closest I have been is 2 left to get. even tried the colour bomb & striped but no good :(

Anonymous said...

I loved this level and I guess you just need to know how to make candies..I played it about 10 times before I got it out, and got close several times before that...don't get frustrated...concentrate...it's seriously not hard and you have got this far. All the boards I got gave me heaps of opportunities to make wrapped.I don't get how all above struggles..I"m not being a smart arse..stating facts!!

It took me about 10 attempts to crack this level. I hit 2 wraps in the left stack with stripies and then left them alone. Then I just kept making wraps in the main body and exploding them as soon as they were made. In a lot of levels where wraps are required it is best causing as many explosions as possible as wraps often appear as a consequence and this level proved no different. When I had nearly enough I exploded the left hand stack. I had 3 more to get and actually made another 4, finishing the level with just 2 moves to spare.

start the game with a wrapped candy. If you don't see it go back and restart the game until you see one. Explode the candy at the top. you will see many wrapped candy forms as it falls down.

Latest comments seems positive, but after all tips for this leven, I start my 3th week daily tryiong to beat this level. But this level is not exeptional. I had already several levels taking me weeks to beat them, whilst many others just take some efforts and application of the correct candy crush principles.
For me it is frustrating as in the difficult levels as 277 I assume 'being lucky' seems to be more important than playing a strategical game.

If they want people to play this game they should make it abit easier.. I don't play but am sick of hearing my missis whinge about this game I know o many people from work who have deleted this game from about level 250 is a good way to make people quit!! Well done king.com you have people addicted to this game then you make them hate you if people aren't enjoying this game there not going to play.. If they want loyal people to play I think they need a new structure cause this ain't working... And lmao to the people who play go do something else!!

Anonymous said...

Well, it's been about 10 boards since I mentioned this, so ...

Nobody wants to hear how frustrating it is. They come here for help on this level, not a bunch of whining.

Anonymous said...

It took me only 2 tries to complete this level. I unlocked 2 wrapped candies on the left side but left then alone and worked in the middle only, and when I was down to needing 9 more I then went to the left side and blew them all up.

Anonymous said...

yes! thanks to all the help in this blog i beat this level!
restart the board until you noticed that in the first move you can make a wrapped candy (it doesnt make you to loose a life if you dont make any move). try to leave two unfrozen candies on the top of the left column, but you must blow them almost at the end, when you only have 10 or 9 wrapped candies left to blow. and pray to god, heaven, spirits, lucky or whatever to reach the target...
soory for my english, it isnt my first language... and for the missing capital letters (i cant find them in this tablet)

DaveB said...

Really...it comes down to the luck of the board and a little bit of reading the candies. Calculate the moves. A LOT of wrapped candies just fall into place after you've made one or two.

Focus on nothing but making your own wrapped candies. The rest will all work itself out on the board.

I played this level the first time and lost with still needing 8 more. I came here, read someone tell me to ignore the bombs. So I did...I ignored EVERYTHING except making my own packaged candies and I beat it with 11 moves left on only my second try.

This one isn't ALL luck. Calculated and patient decisions will help.

Opened the last of the wrapped candies on the left when I had 15 moves left. Allows for another row of colored bombs on the right side to drop down and work with to make wrapped candies. Since you only have 15 moves left and 15 ticks on the bombs you don't have to worry about them exploding. Tried this a few times and won.

Anonymous said...

What can I say just sick and bored of this darn level. Was having fun not anymore.

Anonymous said...

listen to the tip about not playing the board unless you get a chance to make a wrapped candy on the first move. I had been trying for two days and couldn't get it, not even close. Then I took that advice and beat it on my 3rd attempt. good luck. I know how frustrating this level is.

Anonymous said...

I would just like to know that when CC was invented why couldn't they make a wrapped candy + coloured /spotty candy make lots of wrapped candy as it does when stripped candy is combined with coloured/spotty candy..that would solve this level lol. But then that would just be too easy.

Anonymous said...

I tried the tip about not playing until you can form a wrapped candy and got down to only one needed. Someone said that if you cant do this is the first attempt...quit the game and it wont be used against you... How is that part done? I quit the game and lost a life (credit)

Anonymous said...

I really thought this would be one where it would be impossible, but I completed in two days. You really do want to make as many wraps early as possible. Also, you want to make combos, it makes wraps drop from top. Try not to break upper wrap on left until 15 moves left.

I've followed the advice given on the board and got down to eight candies needed before exploding the wrapped candies on the left, of which there are nine....only trouble is, when they've all exploded, the game is still saying I haven't done enough wrapped candies...this has happened three times so far...

Anonymous said...

To the person who said 'stop whining', do you have any tips or something useful to add?

Anonymous said...

I did it after reading these tips. I just concentrated on making my own wrapped candies. Did it on 3rd attempt. Good Luck!!

Peter M said...

The developers have missed a trick with this level. It's so ridiculously difficult that it will drive players from the game. To get 19 wraps is farcical in the allowed moves. 200 plus attempts, will give it a few more days then I'm out!

Anonymous said...

Level 277 is almost impossible. Should be maximum 15 wrapped candies as they are the most difficult to make!

Anonymous said...

More times than I can count I've exploded the 9 wrapped on the left and only got credit for 6. Also I've watched the candies dropping very carefully and some of them stay stationary and candies drop over them. Frustrating to say the least. Many times I've gotten down to 1 needed, I'll have it on the board and no way to explode it. It's all very calculated on CC's part. You win when they want you to.

KayleighK said...

Beat it after about 15 tries.
I finally got lucky by getting 2 wrapped+candy bomb combos, and the rest of it was just strategizing where to move to create those bastard wrapped candies, a lot like playing chess.

This level is doing me in. I hate it. So boring and on my boards, anyway, almost unbeatable. I know people have passed it so it can be done, but I'm also done. At least it will save me a lot of money! I was spending way too much n extra moves anyway.

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the hint of not starting the game until you have a definite wrapper combo. I didn't know about the red door trick! After doing this I got it in 5 goes!

Jennie said...

What is the red door trick and why can I only make T wrappers and no Ls. Also should you break through should you break through the right licorice that starts the chocolate or hold off?

Jennie said...

Never mind it got some corner wrappers. It was just my boards. I think I figured out the red door. As long as you don't make a move you can cancel the game without losing a life. Thank you for this tip. Just had a better run but left unopened wrappers at top left. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. I wad planning on quitting at 300 but maybe now it will be sooner. Lol.

Anonymous said...

Thanks to this board's tips I was finally able to beat this level. Stay strong! Haha

Susan L. Loveland PLLC said...

Followed the tips and got it in 3 tries. Don't make your first move unless you can make a wrapped right away. Don't worry about anything else but making wraps. Forget about the cages and the chocolates. Blow up the wraps right away.

SICK! of candy crush had 28 lives saved because I get tired of the levels that I have to make wrappers. Sign on today to play another time to use them and they were gone. That's just WRONG that you have to annoy your Facebook friends. I may finally be done at least for asking for any lives!

This was a hard level to make, perhaps the hardest level I have faced. Nineteen wrapped candies is a lot to make in fourty movies, even if the game spots you nine. Luck does play a part since in the twenty-sixth try, I swear that my last three wrapped candies just appeared. I had a previous try when I needed one wrapped candy to go and had one on the board when I ran out of moves. I did not want to buy moves, and later I perhaps regretted it when I was not getting even close to making this level. When I finally did, I managed to get twenty wrapped candies (chocolate ate one), though the last few appeared in all the cascades as I got wrapped/wrapped together with two moves to go. To get this level, keep the bombs from falling until less than fourteen moves remain, then they don't matter. Try to unfreeze candies near the top of the wrapped column so that when you do detonate them, they will all drop. Every move requires that you look for possible ways to make wrapped candies, both the L pattern and the Y pattern. When wraps do appear, detonate them as soon as possible, especially when close to chocolate. One thing to note, sparklies are most useful in unfreezing wrapped candies in the column. Be careful setting off sparkly/striped combos, because any wrapped candies of the same colour as that stripe will turn to striped candies and not count towards making orders, and in this level, you cannot afford to lose any wrapped candies.

Persevere. Leave one wrapped candy intact in the left top. This will stop the bombs. Make as many wrapped candies in the right hand box. It takes a lot of goes but eventually it works. Good luck

c/candycrush here.
best advice I read here was don't set about releasing all the wrapped candies on the left hand side.
Instead, concentrate on making wrapped candies in the main section. Don't even let the chocolate deflect you too much from this aim. If you are like me, your left hand wrapped ones will detonate by accident eventually and release bombs but it won't matter too much as you will be near your total wrapped candies by then.
Don't lose sight of making wrapped candies. Good luck.

Completed after many attempts need careful control and a slice of luck. Ignore the chocolate and release left hand candies late as possible.

This level has me baffled. I lose a life when I change boards, so that isn't helping. level 275 was a piece of cake compared to this. just about stopped when I got bored at 256, and am there again. Have had several boards where only one or two wraps could be made. And not bragging but I know how to make them or I wouldn't be this far.

Unknown said...

This level is just impossible, seriously!

Anonymous said...

truly not a bad level, just concentrate on getting the packages, and a few stripes and chocolate bombs help too! even when the bombs are released the chocolate seems to get them first. an enjoyable level got it done in about 4 or 5 lives! i was pleasantly surprised!

For all: It´s really a pain in the a$$ stage. I just get passed it, it took me over 30 times to make it. I agree with the above statements, it´s supposed to be a funny game, and stages like this just ruin it. Tips: Train your eyes to make the required combination. Don´t worry about the bombs. And... hope to be lucky. As usual, the next stages are easier, I already passed 5 of them in minutes. Good luck everyone.

It occurs to me that levels such as 277 are precisely the purpose of this game. Easy levels offer no inducement for a player to purchase boosters or extra moves, but impossible levels tempt a player to believe that no cost is too great if it ends this frustration. Buying moves and boosters then becomes rational and King.com's business model passes the market's test.

Everyone will have their own strategies for completing this level. They are all valid. I prefer not to share my own approach, except to say that it worked really really well, and that I can guarantee that this level is achievable. Concentration is always a key factor after about level 12. I hope this is helpful.

Cybelle said...

Ok just got it, let me tell you what I've learn. As soon as you make a wrap candy make it explose as soon as you can because the computer will eather give you one after the explosion or place the candies so you can make another one right after. doing this I got it with 8 wraped candies in extra and 20 moves left. Try it!

Anonymous said...

When I first started this level I couldn't make enough wrapped candies. I now often make more then enough but they don't count until they have been exploded. There's the trouble. Almost half of the wrapped candies I am exploding don't seem to count. Sometimes 3 or 4 in a row just do not register or subtract from the total needed. There is no way I can make and explode 30+ wrapped candies I'm so bummed because I really enjoyed this game.

Anonymous said...

It was a super hard level...for me the best strategy was to work on getting as much wrappers exploded as possible until about 15 moves where left ..then work on the left side. All the timed bombs where set to 17 ...so they no longer mattered. The big issue was trying to get all the exploded wrappers to count...somehow not doing them the simple way meant they were ignored in the tally ..I'm Still not sure what the criteria is to avoid this.

But luck has a lot to do with it ...plus skill.....and persistence.

Been stuck for a long time now-on this 277! I never succeed in getting all the 19 wraps,And then the bombs come down requiring attention. Tried buying extra moves...still stuck in the mud! Make a lot of color bombs--still no good! If I'm set up,where I have to pay to get ahead--well---I'll try a bit longer--but will prolly delete Crush and Soda--cos I'm doing the same levels over and over-and not getting anywhere! Tired of it! Would like a break! I've asked and pleaded for help...still the same....
