Tips for Level 425 Candy Crush Saga.

By Pamela Gibbons

Like all of the other 'impossible' levels, just keep plugging away. Yes, a lot of luck is needed in this round but I did find some strategies were helpful and got me through after only a day of attempts:
1.    Concentrate on making a wrapped/striped combo early and at the bottom. That will take out the first lot of bombs and will wipe out the tornadoes.
2.     Keep aiming for your striped/wrapped towards the bottom. Don't be tempted to make speckled, they don't really help.
3.     After the first lot of bombs have been destroyed (point 1), don't worry too much about them, it will just waste moves. They will either be naturally detonated on a tornado will take them out. The tornadoes don't seem to be random which is annoying when they take out a combo set-up but they also seem to target bombs.
4.     Get your wrapped/striped combo first. The 200 blue order seems to look after itself. I was prepared to pay to get rid of remaining blues but it wasn't needed.
5. 3 stars, 5 moves to spare, no boosters. Keep trying, it is possible. I did it in my iPhone.

I was stuck on this level for days and literally had just gave up on the game as I am not into frustration and annoyance. My husband picked up my ipad and started playing for me to see if he could end my frustration, and started playing a different tactic. Within just a few games he had ten moves left and only one combo left to do, which I was able to make for him and put together, but the game glitches and the stripe pkg combo disappeared when I put them together and did not register. He continued playing and within a few more games, finished the level for me. What he did was totally ignore making combos, but concentrated on using every move possible to destroy the cyclones. He basically made stripes as much as he could to destroy the cyclones. When he did, a lot of pkgs would form on their own and a lot of stripe opportunities, so he put them together when he could. He said he would ignore even a chance to form a pkg if it took away from him destroying a Cyclone.

Seriously level 425 is ridiculous! You get your wraps and stripes set up along comes tornadoes and take both of them out! I know games are supposed to be challenging, there is no challenge to this level! Just aggravation!!

I thought 424 was bad but 425 is ridiculous. I am out of here. Too frustrating.between the bombs and the tornados, you cannot employ any strategy. On to a different game for me.

Having trouble with this one, I could use a strategy if anyone would care to share.

I'm pretty sure this level requires no skill whatsoever, ALL LUCK! I must have absolutely none! I am tired of banging my head against this wall. I know the person who posted the tips said the tornadoes seem to target the bombs, but I think they target my wrapped candies. I'm tired, I don't think I can so this anymore, no matter how much I love this game.

No fun left in this game, this level is just stupid, I'm not a quitter in the past, but here I am quitting, sorry cc but until u make this level slightly passable I have better things to do with my time..it's a shame u don't listen to fellow cc players..

HOW TO PASS THIS LEVEL. I was stuck on this level for days and literally had just gave up on the game as I am not into frustration and annoyance. He said he would ignore even a chance to form a pkg if it took away from him destroying a cyclone. Try this, it definitely worked. Think it was about 10 or 12 tries and he passed the level. If it does not, at least you killed a lot of cyclones. Write back if this worked for you.

I would like to say I am pissed beyond measure at this game right now. I have been on this level forever, and I just passed it. Up until this level I have probably spent around $5. On this one I just spent $10. I had play so I got the 5 moves for 99 cents but when I went back to the game the tornado landed on my move. So I thought I have already spent some I might as well spend another $1. I have a wrapped candy blow up when it shouldn't have. I speckled bomb go off for no reason, and then the stripes didn't take out the tornado like it has the whole game! But after I had spent 5 bucks I couldn't quit and spend the next six months playing this level to get this far again. I understand how they make money but this level was ridiculous. If I come to another level that is even close to this I am done. I WILL NOT SPEND ANOTHER DIME ON THIS GAME! It wouldn't have bother me to pay for the moves if the game would have played fair and allowed me the chance to win. I clicked buy 5 times and four of those blew up something spontaneously that took away all my moves. Twice I had 0 moves with a stipe and wrapped candy beside one another but a tornado land on one of them as soon as I clicked buy. That is not right!!

I am all for tough levels but this is ridiculous!!!! You can't even have a strategy because when you get close to a striped/wrapped combo the tornado takes it away or the bombs explode. Seriously this is the worst so far. At least with previous difficult levels, you had a chance....this one is a waste of time. I have never been tempted to quit but this may do me in. The fun is sooooooooo long gone. I would never spend a dime on this game and I will quit recommending it to friends.

I just passed after about 20 attempts. These are my tips:

If you have the chance to make the chocolate speckle... make it. I was able to line it up with a red striped candy. Then I made a couple of plays to try to get some red in each column. Don't take too many turns for fear of the cyclones. Then I swapped the red stripe and choc speckle. It cleared a great deal of the board. It also, cleared the bombs and cleared the cyclones for 5 moves and brought down a lot of blue candy.

I also believe I had a lucky board because once the board was cleared like this 2 times in one game, the stripe and wrapped candies started to fall into place.

Finished with no 8 moves left and used no boosters. Good luck!

three times I was able to make wrap /stripe candies.. and either the cyclone took them out.. or the bombs go off before I could match them.. this is absurd.. I'm done... I really don't feel like playing hundreds of boards , waiting for a "lucky " one.. it has now become a crashing bore..

I think the person who developed this level should be stuck in a room with nothing but the game for a week! There's challenging, then there's impossible! Everyone is right, the cyclones take out any moves you can make. I may have to move on.... How the makers of a game as popular as this could drive people away is beyond me! 3 weeks is long enough.....

Is this level a joke or what? I got this far, but that is it now. I am certain this level is impossible.

Anonymous said...

I got this far, but now it is bye bye Candy Crush!!
Ridiculous !!

Wow, 425 is terrible. On my android I get two moves before the bombs come out and then nine more before they blow. Basically this is eleven moves and restart a new game. Got close only once so far after many, many games. Not so fun anymore. Four tornadoes makes planning impossible. JB

One good thing about this level. It's giving me a lot more time to do real life things, like cleaning, reading, going out with real people. Not even close to being a fun level when it's this difficult. Not worth the stress for me. On to something else.

Level 425 is absolute horror. Nog fun at all!

Anonymous said...

You need to do whatever is necessary to clear out the bottom. Striped plus speckled candy is best. It was only after I started do this that I made any progress at all. Then the striped/wrapped will take out the bombs and everything will fall into place. I finished my combos and still needed 7 blue and managed to get speckled candy and finished it up. This was an awful level.

This is all about getting a lucky board. Concereate on getting ur stripes & wrapped. When u get those you can use hammers to keep bombs from exploding Had to use 2 hammers and buy 5 moves to finish

Well, I finally beat 425 today. I am the one on 2 April 2014 that said this level is terrible. Well it was. I must have played it a couple of hundred times and was only close twice. Most were eleven moves and start a new game. It took a sprinkle bomb/stripe to open up the board so I could make some combinations. I had the wrap/stripe combos done with about 15 moves left. I still needed 84 blues to finish. Barely did it. JB

This is a big time luck level , played it 5 lives a day for two weeks and only got past 12 moves a few times , then everything fell in place
Tips ?? dont worry about the blues if you get the striped / wrapped combos they will take care of those and don,t delay removing the bombs

Impossible

I played this 'game' for weeks on ipad and iphone. I rarely got past 11 moves. What is more the bombs only had 9 moves. Impossible. I've just played it on my laptop. Seems like a different game. Bombs had 14 moves and I passed it after, admittedly, several attempts - but at least I passed the stupid game.

This game has no luck nothing, when they want, they will give you a board that you may possibley win. Its rediculous when you have to keep pounding away at these games days weeks and months. I used to love playing but have given up,just play once or twice and move to play slots or any other game.when you got 4 tornados and 4 bombs you don't get much of a chance to get anywhere.I think they ask too much for their players. I wouldn't spend a penny on this game. You purchase helpers and the tornado takes it,no way not spending my money for such nosence.DONE

I hate this level. Bombs get me every time

Anonymous said...

Been on this level for months but probably because it such a frustrating level , I take very long breaks of playing the game. I read somewhere someone said just focus on making your combos and the bombs will take care of themselves. Don't know what CC world they live in, but my bombs DO NOT take care of themselves! As far as I am concerned this level may just help to ween me off of the game completely. It's too bad GREED has such a powerful hold on these game developers. But GREED is the way of the real world too not just the game world.

Comforting to see that I'm not the only one who struggles to get rid of the first lot of bombs. If you can do that then you're in with half a chance. The first lot does seem to be largely luck though :-(. I do hope the next batch don't have tornados......

I have played some tough levels but this level is ridiculously insane. Not fun, not challenging, no skill involved, apparently just pure luck. It is boring and I no longer care if I ever open CC again. Now I am going to watch the football game.

425 level is really hard .candy crush you need to make it a little easy for people to pass it. I am just thinking about giving up

What's wrong with this game?
I just got done playing this stupid level, received countless chocolate balls, cleared enough blues, got 571,000 points, yet still needed 3 more combos. I had plenty of striped or wrapped candies going, and if the tornadoes didn't set them off, a cascade did. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if CCS feels that I'm worthy enough to let me get lucky and give me a lucky board.

Anonymous said...

Well, the CCS gods finally thought that I had enough punishment and gave me a lucky board. I ended up using the free hand to make a combo (on the 2nd to the last move) and, luckily, I was able to get the last 4 blues that I needed on the last move.

I played this day and night until I finally won with three stars. Then the game would not advance. I do not play on FB. The problem is the game won't let me play the three quests to advance. There isn't even a button for quests. I have contacted King Games. Level 425 may be my last as I'm not paying to play.

Level 425 is awful. I've read everyone's posts and don't want to repeat the same stories. I'm tired of this game. And really this level

Unknown said...

Level 434 is impossible to win with 10 moves cc you have gone to the depts of low on this one to get money. You seem to amaze me when you make levels impossible to win with out buying more time. Discusting.

Unknown said...

Dreamworld 434 is impossible to win with 10 moves. Between Odus and only 8 moves only on the bombs it leaves you only 2 moves left to clear the jellies. This level is clearly a money grabber so get ready to pull the wallet out.

Anonymous said...

Yes, this is a tough level, but many of them are. But, what's with the whining in this comment section? The "I'm gonna take my ball and go home" mentality is expected from a 6 Year-old, but if you want to quit, just quit and stop whining.

Catgirl said...

From reading comments it's clear King have changed this level. However, it's still seemingly impossible.. Trying to clear the blockers before the bombs go off is hard enough without tipping Odus over, without having to make stripe/stripe combos, and a gazillion blue jellies. I only play moonstruck whilst waiting for new levels of candy crush to appear, so I like to think I know how to play this game, but I think from now on I will do the ironing instead. I'm all for a challenge, but hate frustrating levels such as this. I may come back at a later date to see if it's been made easier.. Adios amigos :)

Crackers said...

I agree with CATGIRL this level has changed since the original posts on this blog - but I am confused about her comments regarding Odus, stripe/stripe combos, blue jellies cuz the level 425 I'm on isn't ruled by Odus and it's stripe/wrapped combos and blue candy. Regardless, I agree that some of the "hard" levels are near impossible for "non-gamers" and kind of take the motivation out of continuing. I play this game for recreation without consideration for skill improvement, strategy on making moves (okay - maybe you have to - a little). ---> I do wish that King Games would come up with some sort of reward you can earn that when cashed in will create a board that doesn't trick you by changing the way the candy falls to prevent a needed position OR as mentioned in the post from WENDY fail to count a needed combo (this seems to happen quite often).

I still enjoy playing it though... and I'm an oldie, not a techie.

After weeks of trying I finally completed this level only to get the dreaded error and it not count. I wish there was someway I could contact King and voice my displeasure. I'm not sure I have it in me again to try and beat it for a 2nd time. UHG!! King needs to just move those with this error forward. !@#!@#!@#!@#!@#
