Tips for level 421 Candy Crush Saga

Candy Crush Saga level 421 is now easier!
The orders have been reduced from 7 combos to only 5 on PC.. Mobiles will be updated later.
Tips below.
The whole strategy for this level rides upon exactly when you

destroy the cakes. The ideal situation is to destroy two on the

same side, then work exclusively on one side making striped

candy before destroying the other two. This narrows the field a
little, meaning striped candies end up closer to each other. Or,

failing that, destroy the two at the top and use the 'ledge' on

the remaining cakes to build striped combos.

You just have to remain aware of exactly when the next cake

is going to 'blow' because it will destroy everything on the board, including your striped candy. As always matches are easiest to

make in the bottom row, but try to make them wherever you

can. Colour bombs can help by reducing the number of candy

colours on the board, so don't always overlook them in favour

of a striped candy.

Tips on how I passed 421
1) when the board first opens, if available match three like candies with a locked stripe in one of the corners - this creates two stripes right next to each other- switch them and you have one of the order completed.
2) try to clear one pie box at a time, making at least one pair of stripes to add to the order each time the board clears- then you will have only 2 pairs of stripes to create to complete the order on the last board.

If this level were about collecting chocolate bombs I'd clean up. I got five in one game. Still plugging along. The closest I've come is two pairs left.

Where are the comments? Did everyone make good on previous comments and quit playing?? Most I have so far is 3/7...

Ha ha. Well, not really... Scrolled down previous page and saw the 280 comments posted on the other video....

This is not as easy as it looks. At least there are no bombs or eating chocolate. The best I've been able to get is 5/7, and that was only once. I like playing this board, so I don't mind it taking a while. Just which the cyclones didn't smash my stripe opportunities.

I have been on this for weeks. I've gotten 6 only 1 time and I wish I has paid my 99 and finished. Can't even use any of the free boosters I have. Can not come up with a game plan for this one. Hopefully one day it will happen.

This level is the hardest I've come across. I quit for a few weeks and played Otus now that they added levels. Finished that in a week and I'm back here to 421. It will take a huge amount of luck to get through this one. I'll give it another week or two. If I can't even get close I'll have to call it a day. No sense getting frustrated over a game. A good game, I will add, but just a game. Maybe if enough people comment they will take away those mean little cyclones that keep messing up my stripes.

I've tried all the posted tips and the closest I've gotten twice was getting 4 out of 7. This is too frustrating and seems too unattainable. Looks like I'm done at 421 (rhymes).

I'm convinced the only way to pass this level is to pay for it. After too many days to count, I broke down and spent around $6....gladly! I never got closer than 2 remaining striped combos to make. This level is IMPOSSIBLE to make. The only good thing I can say is....there's only 1 tornado! My suggestion is if you get down to 2 or 3 combos left, pay the $$$ and move on! I wonder if the powers to be at "King" can pass this level? Good luck fellow Crushers...I will worry about this one no more.

this level was hard, i spent a couple of days and then took a break, when i went back to it i seemed to have gotten the perfect board! got two matches before i even cleared a board, they kept landing next to each other! i got a couple more after breaking one pie and the rest also came easy! the luck of the board! did it without boosters or paying for extra moves! it can be done! also i have noticed that the first board you get sometimes is the best one (of course you don't know it until you play other boards that are really bad, lol!

Every time I get close, the game crashes. I feel that this is a built in deterrent to make you pay to get past this level.

Hate this level. Very, very, very boring! This one may do me in. But that's ok. I'll save a lot of money on boosters!

They are having a laugh!!! I've been on this level for weeks, tried all the tips and not even getting close, time this one was sorted out, hope you're listening Candy Crush? But I suppose I must be a sucker for punishment because I'm not giving up, I got this far, grrrrrr!!!!!

I just came back to see if there was any improvement. I used to play faithfully, but this level is sooooooo boring, I haven't played in a long time. I just go in and spin the wheel and then move on. Not fun anymore.

Logged on today to try it yet again. Saw it only takes 5 swaps now instead of 7. Very do able now

Worst level ever.

Mine still requires 7!!! Been on this for a month. Don't play nearly as much as I used too because it has become so useless.

I hate this level. About to be done. I'm slowing down to only a couple of times a week, so I've broken the addiction! Lol

There is no strategy for this level. Pure luck! Took me months of quitting and returning and quitting and returning, etc. this one needs to be GONE,

All I can say is that I must have been very, very lucky with this level. Passed it on my second try with 7 moves left. I broke all 4 cakes and had 44 moves left. I tried to make stripes anywhere I could and carefully, carefully move them next to one another. Good luck! and don't give up!
