Candy Crush Saga Level 660

Tips for level 660 Candy Crush Saga
The board is in 2 halves. The top half is not affected by moves in the bottom half exept by vertical stripes or colour bombs.
Clear a bit of cream in the bottom half and then carefully drop the ingredients onto the conveyor.
Don't let them get below it or it's difficult to get them back on again.
You have to wait until they move around the conveyor into the bottom half of the board as even firing a stripe up the conveyor will not bring them into the bottom half.
Once in the bottom half of the board you need to make a match below the fruit as it passes along the exits, or save a vertical stripe to used as the fruit goes past, but be very careful that there is no fruit on the top half of the board above the stripe or it will be dropped under the conveyor and left in a difficult position.
At the start of the game there are 3 fruits already on the board, the others will fall after you get one out of the exit, but only when you make a move in the top of the board, so you can more or less determine where the fruit will fall by your moves.

The main tip on level 660 is to keep the ingredients on the conveyor until they get into the bottom half of the board.

Crummy level.

Gah. Even when I am careful to not let the existing fruits fall below the conveyor, candies end up lining up and dropping a new fruit straight below the conveyor. Finding this level extremely difficult.

They should have saved this level for #666, because it one is a DEVIL!!

It's difficult, but there is a clear strategy to getting this one (plus luck). It is all about keeping the fruit on the conveyor belt. I tried to keep the matches above them so they wouldn't fall down, then when they were all in a row, I was lucky to have a stripe across the bottom and hit it with a bomb. Perseverance will win this one

I found that you can use a hand switch to put the fruit back on the conveyer belt, also exploded any speckled fruit right away seemed to give me more speckled. I passed with 7 moves left.

In this game stripes are NOT your friend. Avoid them at all costs. They invariably drop a fruit into no man's land and it is nearly impossible to get them back to the belt. When your fruit is in the top section be extremely careful with matches up there. Unintentional cascades are going to get you anyway. I hate this level.

Guess what else! If the board has to shuffle it can (and will) send any fruits on the belt to no man's land. Thanks a lot King!

I didn't think this was near as bad as some. It took me five tries. Just concentrate on one at a time making sure they stay on that conveyor. If one drops just end the game because it's not going to happen.

how do they come up with these crap levels?????

Third attempt careful control of candy below the conveyor to let fruit travel to the bottom level. Ingenious design.

Hated this level, but completed it. Here are my tips: If a fruit fell below the conveyor belt out of my control, instead of worrying about getting it back on the conveyor belt, I let it sit there. Once I got all the other fruits taken care of and saw there would be no more coming, I used a hand to switch it with a candy to get it back on the conveyor belt (I actually had to do this twice). Then things just lined up and I completed the level. But I realized it would be nearly impossible to get it back on the conveyor belt and I shouldn't waste my moves. Leave it sit there until it's one of the last ones, then just switch it out, if you have enough moves left that it seems likely you'll be able to finish.

Another tip - I found it slightly easier if I moved a fruit OFF of the conveyor belt at the bottom of the board because then I didn't have to worry about it going back around and up top again and dropping off. So if I couldn't clear it, but could still move it off the conveyor belt, I let it sit there until I could clear it.

It took me a day but I finally completed level 660. I tried to open as much of the bottom as I could first. Then I dropped the first three so they were in line together.Got them to the bottom half, made one match and cleared all three with a vertical stripe. Did close to the same with the next two in line. Left me with one. Got it to the bottom and boom....Done! Quite a bit of luck on this level.

Obvious they needed levels to slow us down. After 655 its no surprise!! This level truly sucks. Trying to open bottom for fruit to drop after being lucky to keep them on the belt is nearly impossible! ! Well it seems there are no more stations after this...may as well be stuck here even though I hate it. Its not skilful more like luck....expected more comments here but guessing poor saps still at 655...good luck

I guess they extended the game with all the difficult lvls which were rejected in the previous phases of the game. Smth like "they want lvls? Give em the nasty ones put aside last year" :))

Frustrating but fun, one of my favourites. I completed it after about 20 attempts with no special candies needed. If the candies fall below the conveyor at the top then I immediately quit the game, no point wasting time trying to get them back.
Clear some of the blocks at the bottom first without releasing the fruit at the top if you can but don't leave it too late to release or you will run out of moves.

Enjoy!

Not too bad, I completed it on the 5th attempt. Just try to do one ingredient at a time and keep a horizontal stripe in the bottom row of the bottom half to set off and you're good to go.

Anonymous said...

Work the bottom first. Avoid getting fruit on conveyor belt until you have an exit point at the bottom. Aside from that. Good luck. It took me a week to beat this level.

I was nearly all week on this level, just now completed it without any hand switchers since I didn't have any! candies and chocolate bombs can actually be your enemy unless they are horizontal stripe candies...all luck of the board, as there doesn't seem to be too much plotting and planning since you don't know how the candies will cascade. If you get more than one fruit off the belt, you might as well give in. Keep at it, a lucky board will come your way.

Finally won this level with the aide of 2 hands and 1 lollipop hammer won on bonus wheel!!!

Again, doable if you concentrate.

Here is the key. When you get a fruit onto a conveyor belt, you must do everything possible to keep it there. The easiest way to do that is to limit your moves to the lower section until the fruit gets down there. That way, you won't do anything that will move the fruit into "no men's land."

And when the fruit gets to the lower level, work like mad to drop it through before it swings back up to the upper level.

Took me about 50 boards. Not easy, but far from impossible.

Anonymous said...

Okay, I officially hate this level. Came close several times with only one ingredient left. Hard to get available moves in the lower half forcing me to make moves on the top half. Arghhhh, I'm not happy :-(

c/candycrush here.

The very top explanation has it all really.

Main tip is the 2 boards are separate. When I started, I thought a fruit that dropped off the conveyor belt in the top half would travel down to the bottom half. Big mistake.

The system will almost surely drop at least one of the fruits off, even if you don't, so my only real tip is be extra careful when they are in the top middle as if they drop off there, it is almost impossible to move them over. If they drop next to the belt, it might be do-able.
Stripes and colour balls do travel across both boards though, so beware!!

I'm the one a few days ago who said I hate this level. Hate is a strong word and I used it inappropriately here. It wasn't long before I got a good board on this level and got through. What will I do when I'm finished with all the levels?

Anonymous said...

janc here .. My word, that was tedious! Got 3 stars finally but it was a level I needed to study and learn from my (many) mistakes! Stripes are your only help here; just must check very carefully before you use them to be sure they won't knock an ingredient off the rail, and keep an eye out for any approaching candies that might set them off by accident. If an ingredient got knocked one move away from the conveyor, I would move it back, but if more than one did, or if one dropped more than a move away, I'd quit and start over.

Anonymous said...

I completed this by focusing on the bottom. Clearing the blocked squares and all. The ingredients in the top area will fall down on the conveyor belt by themselves or with very little effort. Better to stay out of that area so that you don't cause them to fall into the zone below the conveyor belt.

Fantastic tips!

I finally got it out and it wasn't easy. I ended up using one daily spin hand to get a fruit back onto the conveyor belt.

Anonymous said...

This is definitely a horribly annoying level.

Either the belt moves and an fruit drops and you're forced to use that hand thing...or you can't move it to the bottom on time and it goes back up the screen and needs like 12 moves that you don't have to go back down the screen.

Anonymous said...

another shit level. Will not waste time here. I have better things to do.

Anonymous said...

Try to keep the ingredients on the belt. If they fall off into the middle of the upper level, you probably can't get them back. If they are only one move away from the belt, you might save them.

On the bottom level, it is OK if you move them to the left of the belt. They can stay there until you break the jelly away and they will fall thru.

On the top level, try to make single horizontal moves only. If you make vertical moves, or multiple line horizontal moves, you may get an ingredient to come down too far to retrieve.

It's actually an interesting level. Quite by accident, I moved a piece to the left of the lower conveyor belt. That is what saved the game for me.

I AGREE...LOL!!!
I HATE THIS LEVEL...

Anonymous said...

if the fruit falloff the conveyor you are screwed..if the game reshuffles you are screwed..if you make a combo by accident & it blows up you are screwed, congrats CC on making the shittiest level possible. I am about ready to quit as this is just ridiculous :(

Anonymous said...

what the heck is it with these 600 levels?!?!? This level,is ridiculous. if you have any fruit drop down, which happens frequently with cascades that are beyond your control, you may as well give up and quit the game. I've quit with more than 30 moves left because you can spend the whole game trying to move the fruit back to the conveyer. King must have really wanted to slow people down to give them time to create more levels because these 600 levels and this one in particular are fricking impossible. I'll be stuck on this one til the gods give me a lucky board.

Anonymous said...

This level is horrible, I hate it. Worst level since 350. I don't even like playing cc anymore. I go in and do five lives a day. get down to one or two fruits left, but it's impossible to keep all of them from falling beneath the conveyor and when that happens you are toast. This could be it for me and cc.

Anonymous said...

Total crap and impossible to solve if the game doesn't want you to solve it. It's not about strategy at all but only about pure luck.
I could laugh when I see those videos that show us how easy it is to win this one. Nobody gets a board like this. Striped candies, yes, but they always let the fruits fall off the conveyor belt.
I've tried this crap over and over again, especially cautious to not let any fruit fall down, yet it regularly happens even after the first 2 or 4 moves.
It's a pure waste of time. I hope nobody pays real money for that.

When I finally finished this level candy crush crashes/freezes and when I start it up again it says I didn't finish the level. SERIOUSLY?!?

Anonymous said...

Crap game that's it i give up. I've spent money on this stupid game NO more. Stuck on 660. And now I'm deleting it from phone. Goodbye

Wow I thought my nerves were gone before I came to this level but this takes the biscuit. I nearly always get to within one of the fruit or nut things and then it falls off the belt, it's infuriating.

Anonymous said...

Tried so many times...NOT worth my time anymore....I deleted Soda...prolly this one is next! I have no hand switches--and not giving King anymore money.....Getting tiresome and stressful for keeping this up....

Helen said...

Definitely worth persisting. Best tips: new fruits enter the top pane after a move in that pane - so their position can be predicted and to some extent controlled and hand switch can be used to get them back on the conveyor or to switch them to the bottom of the lower pane

Anonymous said...

If the ingredients fall off on the top section you might as well start again unless u have about 600 hand switches! It could be a really enjoyable level if king hadn't made it virtually undoable. A shame really.

This level is stupidly difficult. Once a cherry or acorn is off the belt on the top, it is just a slog to get through the level to restart. I have pretty much bagged it - this is supposed to be fun, not unpleasant.

BUT! (I am the same poster who griped just above) this thread has introduced me to the QUIT button. I hadn’t known about that! Yay! Don’t have to finish an unwinnable game. Thanks!
