Candy Crush Saga level 870

Tips and tricks for level 870 Candy Crush Saga

Please "LIKE" and "SHARE" ------>

Level 870 is an orders level, you need to collect 10 wrapped candies and 3 colour bombs plus 2 colour bombs have to be switched together.
The colour bombs are no problem as there are 5 popcorns on the board and with only 5 colours on the board the wraps shouldn't be too difficult either.
What many may find the most difficult is getting the 2 colour bombs together.
The best way to get the 2 colour bombs together is to allow one to fall down the board, then look for an opportunity to make one above it and let it fall down next to the first one.
The three popcorns in the middle are above each other, so just grow those and let them fall together.
The wraps you make will help grow the popcorns.
I tend to go for the colour bomb combo first as it's the most difficult, then work on the wraps and the last colour bomb will come from the popcorns. Use any spare colour bombs to increase your score and help make more wraps.

That was rather fun!! At first I thought it was going to be tough, concentrate on getting the wrapped candies and everything else fell into place.

This was fun for a little while. I've been playing this one too long. The one and only time I got all the orders, I was 3,000 points short and no time to build more points. How depressing. I know there is a reason why I keep punishing myself with this game, but I don't remember what it is any more (lol).

So, there was a second time I got the ingredients and still didn't have enough points. Then, I finally got through. Best to make moves slowly. Look at all you have on the board. Make stripes early to clear the popcorn, then avoid them and try to make sprinkles and wraps. Good advice above to not use the sprinkles until you get two lined up together.

Got it first try...or so I thought. No, I didn't get enough points. The second try, I got 30,000 more points than the first try, but didn't collect the ingredients. It seems to me that that isn't quite fair. This is one of the reasons I don't like the counting of stars. Seems to me that if you win the level with fewer moves, that is a good thing. Stands to reason that you would get fewer points, but what does it matter?

I have collected all the orders twice now without getting enough points. In one game I had way more points than I needed but didn't collect the orders. Grrrr! This is what I call a dumb level. Will keep trying, because I know I will get it eventually. I always do. JS

New episode is now on iPad, but it seems King has changed the rules. No more resetting without losing a turn. Not happy at all about that, as I used that strategy a lot. Think I will go back to laptop where at least I was getting better boards. JS

Anonymous said...

Correction on previous post. You can still reset without losing a life on iPad, but not if you have picked a booster.

Jane said...

But they have made it so you don't have to pick a booster till you have a board you like. Nice change!

OMG after at least 35 or so tries when I nearly gave up on a game where I still needed choc ball combo to connect and a cascade spoilt it...another choc ball appeared..had one popcorn left and lucky it came next to my other on my last move. .phew...glad thats over..gl. I concentrated only on wraps that game and it worked

While I have only had about 8 attempts I have not gone close once. Wraps are the issue for me. Most of the time I can't get even half of the required wraps. I have got the colour bomb combo twice but still fell way short of wraps, this is going to hard, regards AJ

After posting above I got it with 3 attempts, you really have to rely on cascades for wraps. You don't have enough moves to create them your self. This attempt I had the wraps sitting on the board but yet to get the colour bomb combo, I was lucky to have a Colorado bomb sitting on top of a pop corn, I just had to pop it, combined them on last move and that also dentonated the wraps, phew. Regards AJ

JanC here! 1st try 3 stars no boosters! Another EASY level for a PRO like myself, hehe.... If any crushers out there are having trouble with this board you may want to think about quitting while your ahead! Or ask a pro like myself for the tricks of the trade!

Just work the board slow and methodically on this level gang! The skill will come in time!

JanC here. (Ahem!) Played for a day so far, at least 20 games. Sometimes I fill the wraps + sprinkle order but can't get the two sprinkle mixed; sometimes I get that but not all the wraps. Didn't even know til I read through here just now that points are an issue too :P .. Because 95% of the time I don't come close ... Thank the gods it's not an evil level. Wish I *were* in the same league as you folks who got this. I shall look at this as a necessary skill-builder, then. Thanks for the tips! Will be back when I pass it.

JanC back! Omg got it on the next try after I posted! Followed Ms Cookie's strategy to the letter: sprinkle+sprinkle first, then wraps. That advice plus a merciful board let me squeak by with one star, but I'm not complaining! And it was down to the final move too! Yay!

Amazing how many JanC 's play this game lol

One of those rigged level b King ... testing patience.

Had all sprinkles done and needed 3 more wraps which I had on the board and ran out of moves before I could explode them, twice! Grrrrr

I struggled on this one for more than a day, but finally cleared with 1 star, no boosters. The wraps were hardest for me, so I focused on that order which helped pop the corn. Although you don't need all the corn to pop to fill the orders, you should still try in order to get the sprinkles out and help reach the points minimum.

Got it on the third try. Don't know how, but I followed the directions. Actually got 2 colour bombs together twice...lol. Then concentrated on wraps. Most of them came from cascades. I was very lucky. This seems to be tough. I got choked with chocolate at the top as well! Glad it's done.

Anonymous said...

Woohoo, finally got it. Worked on all the wraps 1rst, the chocolate sprinkles kinda make themselves. You just have to be careful(and lucky) to line them up. Good luck everyone.

JanC here! Just use my advice and your golden!

Anonymous said...

I don't know how you all did this one. I can get the wrapped and the three sprinkles but can't get the two sprinkles together. Been on this one for at least five days.

Clearly Jan c has an evil twin!! Stick it- we all got here just like u babe

I've spent weeks on this level. And eventually, when I finally get all the ingredients (using some spare lollipop hammers I had accumulated) I'm told that I didn't get enough points? Like WTF?

Awful awful level.

Anonymous said...

JanC here! Sorry to hear about your struggles hun. If you need CC advice just let me know, eh?

Anonymous said...

Aargh!! I don't like using boosters as much as possible but desperate times call for desperate measures. Just need one more wrap with only 2 moves left. Wrap was so close I could smell it (lol). Broke down and bought 5 more moves and there she was. Dropped out the sky. I would focus on getting the sprinkle/sprinkle combo first. The wraps come on their own but watch for opportunities for them as well. Good luck fellow crushers!!

Anonymous said...

Jan C be quiet. Why has no one mentioned the chocolate on this level? The blog hints up top are laughable. Hard level. Never even been close. Posting for luck.

Anonymous said...

Hi it's Kath... Well, that was easy... 2nd attempt, no boosters, AND enough points to pass.. The secret is to CONCENTRATE .... And maybe got the lucky board as well.
Good luck all !!!

Once you match the sprinkle with another sprinkle it's not too difficult. Try to unlock the popcorn on top before the one on the bottom so that they fall on top of each other.

This level killing me. Omg I despise it. Cant get close. Its so tedious...

JanC here! Gang ^^^^ is my troll.

Ultramum said...

I'm really not enjoying this whole episode ....

Anonymous said...

JanC here! Just ask for my crushing tips and youll get it eh?

Anonymous said...

Finally. This was a really tough level and I was lucky to have a couple of hands saved up from the wheel. Matching the two color bombs is tough but on the final try it happened with two that I made. Go figure. Even with a good board, take it slow. I took a break every time I couldn't see anything useful and it helped.

Not a big deal but I backed out of boards unless I could clear at least two the chocolates with my first moves. Too many wasted moves otherwise.

As much as I might like to complain about the really tough levels, it is a free game and has cost me nothing but my time. On the next level.

Found the wrapped candies most difficult got the two chocolate bombs early then careful looking to get the wrapped candies.

This one is highly ridiculous! Can't enough points or all the ingredients on the same board. Please help. Thank you.

Oh this level has me so frustrated! After reading all the comments and verifying my strategy isn't "out there" I'm now ready to return to the game. On occasion something magical occurs after i search for help- within one or two tries post advice all stars and candies align& the level is passed, at times with ease! And while I'm fully aware blogs are places to freely express your thoughts there is a fine line between being proud of your accomplishments and sounding like a self-absorbed, egotistical, cocky nuisance. Tone it down a bit and people may actually want to "hear" what you have to say :)

Anonymous said...

Do you not realise that ther eis a troll on here pretending to be JanC? It's quite easy to pick out the genuine one if you pay attention.

Anonymous said...

JanC needs to go. Nobody wants your help.

Another tedious level. Boring. Waiting for a lucky board, once again.

Can't believe I got this one on the first try after struggling with several previous levels. 1 star, no boosters on the PC. Best tip is to CONCENTRATE as stated in an above post and evaluate every move. I went after the chocolate and the popcorn then everything fell into place.

Ooh, I did find this one a real challenge! Making sprinkles - no trouble, in fact too many of them! It was getting the 10 wraps that held me up - I must have used about 200 lives and a week winning this level. Got it on the last life...no boosters, only one star but who cares? Sorry I have no helpful advice, just to persevere. If I can do it, so can you!

Scan the board before EVERY move.

Is anyone having problems with connection problems? I have had this problem for weeks. One day it will work and I get to spin the bonus wheel and continue a legal and then for the next several days it won't connect. Have email them and to no avail. It is not my server or my pad. It is something on their end!!

Agree with tip going after bomb combo first if possible...After 7 tries got lucky board & dropped bomb atop bomb & matched it clearing entire board & all licorice locks & allowing cascades to form wraps & more candy bombs..Able to match another bomb with wrap & that started amazing cascade creating more wraps & another bomb..Made goal easy & by blowing up bombs & with bomb/wrap combo able to get enough points for 1 star ..no booster on PC...Fun & frustrating level but doable with patience...stay with it & guarantee you will win

How is that after many attempts on my iPad I get it on the first try on my PC.

Bling59 said...

I have no idea how to solve this level, however i managed it with three striped/choco ball combo. Exploded everything and hoped for the best.

I feel like I got really lucky on this one. Got it on my first try. I always feel like anything with a conveyor belt involves a lot of luck. The chocolate balls came easily. I think I only had to make one myself. Then I just watched carefully for every opportunity to make a baguette (that's what I like to call the wrapped candies).

Anonymous said...

Soooooo NOT the real JanC!! At least if you're going to troll her, write like her!!!!!

Anonymous said...

YOU'RE. The real JanC can spell !!!!

490220 points! Really good level. Fun. But once I'd got the orders it took a good minute for it to the game to end on its own.

Anonymous said...

Loved this level. Really easy I thought and the points kept accumulating and after the game had ended

Anonymous said...

The video for this level is a complete joke. I have never seen so many extra sprinkles "magically" form in all my life. This is absolutely nothing like the boards I have had. Ridiculous!!!

Bobbie said...

Love this site. Seems once I've visited to justify my strategy or get help, I pass the level. Usually enjoy the comments but now ticked a few not so nice ones on this level. Please let's not go that way

Bobbie said...

* noticed, not ticked!

Been playing for a long time, obviously, this is the WORST/Most difficult level I've encountered so far. So bored and disappointed, this may be the end for me. :(

I don’t know how all these people passed this I’m not even anywhere close - one wrap and 2 chocolate balls
Guess I’m too thick to work this one out & it’s going to get harder :(
