Hints and tips for level 1247 Candy Crush saga
It may seem strange to see fish on an ingredient level, and they can sometimes be more of a hindrance than a help on level 1247, but if you can switch one with a stripe or wrapped candy they may clear some of the blockers under the ingredients.
Try to save the fish as long as possible and work on clearing the cakes.
The fruit on the right goes down it's column, through the middle square and into the left column and out, so the middle square has to be cleared too, but it will most likely be cleared as you work on the cakes.

I'm not really sure how it works but occasionally members of our All Help Group have reported one of the ingredients falling through the middle and getting stuck when the cream blocker is cleared too early.
Before you allow the cherry from the right side to drop down it needs to be able to get into the left column so the top blocker on the left has to be cleared and the fruit out of the way. If the blocker is still there the cherry will fall down into the middle part of the board and you may as well quit and start again.

I've played at least 30 plus times this morning and can assure you all, that the fish do not help destroy the cake, if it's happening for a few then good luck to you but for me the game is still the same ,it would make the game a bit fairer if the fish did eat the cake ,like ive said in previous posts ,not everyone had the good fortune to afford to buy boosters .I know for sure that if I had bought boosters I would not be here complaining .Come on king make the game fair for us players that have promoted your game from the start .
Hi, I again played this level on king.com site today just to check the behavior of fish and I can assure that fish definitely go for cakes and if both the cakes are cleared then they eat other blockers.
But sadly in mobile they don't. They are still useless and eat no blockers and no cakes.
So I think you played this on mobile, if so give a try on the king's site or fb. Good Luck!
Hi again MC ,,, Ive been playing all of yesterday and today since it was suggested that the fish eat the cake .. and the fish do not eat the cakes , if they did I would have cleared by now but I'm not as yet I am still stuck on this level because I can't buy the boosters required to clear this level ,in total I've been stuck over a week now and will probably be stuck for much longer because I can see no way of passing without the aid of booster that one needs to buy .
Finished this level on Oct. 14 using five boosters the time I beat it after many tries. Came back to see how everyone is using with this awful level. Decided to try it again. Unbelievable but I finished first try, no boosters, three stars and get this--12 moves left. That means I only used 13 moves. Obviously King has really changed this level.
Came back here today to see how everyone is doing with this awful level. I don't think I've ever seen so many comments on a level.
I got through it on October 14 after many, many tries and many boosters. Used five when I got through. Decided to try it again today while I'm waiting for a new episode.
Absolutely unbelievable! First try, no boosters, three stars, 12 moves left which means I only used 13 moves. King really must have changed it.
Needed a reason to wean myself off CC for good - this was it! Dropped one cherry then the second got stuck in the middle. Impossible to finish. Good bye
TO MC who posted directly above, what device are you playing on? I am playing on iPhone and don't see any difference with fish? They are still making a mess and eating candies in center of board !
I read this blog a lot and it is often helpful. Sometimnes, all I do is just read it, and then WHAM I get the level. I do not understand for the life of my how I hit this level in one shot. I think, again, as everyone states, it's the luck of the board. I keep thinking I will stop, and then I keep going. One of these days I'm going to quit, no really, I'm gonna! I have been stuck on this level for so long and have commented on all the problems it has. Tonight I tried once again, and failed, and suddenly it sent me to the next level and shows that I got 2 stars. I know for a fact that I did not complete the level!! I am happy to be past this, but what is the point?!
So I read all 210 comments on here and went back to give it another go. Move 1 created a striped with the with a fish. Move two the striped fish went to the cherry on the top left and the cherry disappeared. Unbelievable!!!
Truly incredible! After trying this and failing over and over for past 3 weeks on my own I read this forum. I was happy that everybody agreed with me that it's a _ itch and you just have to get lucky.... went back to try again and succeeded (with the help of 4 lollipop hammers in my stash). I guess the secret is to take your case to this forum. Although you may not learn any tricks, it seems to break the spell..... at least it did for me!
Hi all, wow, have never seen so many comments for 1 level before. A few asking for tips from those who have passed. I had 4 hammers from daily spins and 1 switch. To answer 1 query, no, you dont have to clear 1 fruit first. I had fruit in each column, with a blocker underneath, used hammers to unblock right fruit, it fell to bottom of right column, then hit left blocker, as left fruit fell, right fruit fell into left column. Had to use 3rd hammer to let 1st fruit fall out, only had 1 move left, could see that I needed 2 to finish game, not proud, but spent $1.29 for 5 moves, used switch hand to wipe put 1 candy and last hammer to get last cany out of the way and the last fruit fell out. If I hadnt read all the negative comments, I wouldnt of spent any dollars, but coming so close, I figured it was worth it. I like many others, like to unwind after work with this game. I hope this gives some of you hope. Good luck to everyone.

Very interesting level. Thought it was hard, then came here and then really thought it was hard. Didn't take too long though with the help of two hammers from the daily spins. After maybe 10 tries, got a stripe/package combo that helped wipe most of the two cakes. Needed a Switch to line up the last piece of the right cake and this left with both fruits sitting on a cream square. Used my hammers to clear both (always have to remind myself that the hammers CAN be used on the cream). Cleared the one on the left first and then the fruit from the right (sitting on the cream in the middle of the board). An earlier try had that right fruit fall to the bottom of the board when then cream wasn't there. So, I guess you really need to clear that middle cream last.

I have played old levels and built up a stock of boosters - hey, my stock has dropped drastically after this AWFUL level.
On my winning try, I was lucky to get two sprinkles so I matched them which took out a lot of the blockers and most of the cake slices. I carried on, and made horizontal stripes which hit the remaining blockers. Then one of the cakes exploded too. I was left with three blockers on each side, so I used hammers to take them out. One fruit dropped but the other stayed obstinately at the bottom of the column and refused to exit until in desperation I made another random move, candies fell into the left hand column and DOWN went my fruit in the right hand column! I am playing on my iPad.
I really think this level is the hardest one in the game and King needs to amend it. More moves would help.
After failing to pass this level on iPad for more than a month I passed on the PC after the 3rd try. The fish do hit the pie on the PC, but not on iPad. This is the worst level ever.
MC, that would be great but the fish are still eating my regular candy. :( I've yet to have any fruit drop so it's frustrating to say the least. I have lots of boosters but no point in using them since I haven't come close.

Couldn't pass on mobile Android. 4 layer meringue in center square, 3 layer in columns with 25 moves.
Tried on Kindle.... all meringue is 2 layer, with 35 moves. Finished on 2nd try with only 1 hammer.

For God sake fix this level....played for a week and not doing anything but moving colors around with no luck. I think we need to have to try but we shouldn't have to send our soul to Hades....because you guys control it and we can't pass until you decided to let us.
Wow, so many comments, I can't believe it. I only needed six moves on my first try to complete the level. I'm not quite sure how I did it. I had a wrapped candy sitting above the left cake and was able to make a stripe right beside it with my first move. Switching them cleared most of the cakes and the fish went straight for the rest of it. Then the board almost played itself. I'm still baffled, that such a hard level was so easy for me, but I'm extremely thankful for it.
Maybe using a stripe/wrap booster and resetting the board until they are next to each other above the left cake (and maybe right below the right cake would also work) so that most of the cake parts get wiped out will help you set up the same experience I had.

I have played this game all week with no luck...Please fix this board. I can understand it not being easy but there is no sense making it impossible.
On an android device this level is impossible, the fishes do not eat the pie slices BUT on facebook they eagerly do so making this level super simple. I almost feel like I am cheating when playing CC on FB now because it is way easier
I play on iPad and don't have FB. I replayed the level because I thought I was plain lucky the first time. Nope. Again beat it on the first try. The fish went straight for the cake pieces, making the level a piece of cake, so to say. Maybe they changed the difficulty during the last few days, although it still says difficult level.

After being stuck for days, I played on my Galaxy 5 phone, and the fish ate the cakes. Made it the 3rd time. Crazy that it's not the same on all devices!
I wasn't really expecting to see 200+ comments on here. Not sure if that makes me feel better or worse! Misery loves company, but I also want to get past this one eventually! I'm out of hammers and gloves, so I guess I'll need to stock up on a few of those. Coconut wheel hasn't helped me much. Back at it....
I'm absolutely furious! After spending days and days on this, I managed to clear all the left blockers and the fruit, then cleared the right blockers using 4 lollipops. Despite the left being completely clear, the fruit on the right stuck at the bottom and wouldn't go through! Wasted my last 4 lollipops and have to start again. King need to sort this flaw out asap.

Exactly the same thing happened again! Everything was cleared on the left, but still the fruit stuck on the bottom right!

Go to the bottom arrow. After you've hit it, hit the red circle and you're good to go without losing a life.
Came back to see how you all were doing, in hopes you've been as lucky as I was to have escaped. Truly sorry. Just played it a few times again, and it's still that horrible glitchiness that I can't believe hasn't been fixed yet.

I've played this level about 30 times. So far, no fish has ever touched a cake. Wonder what's up with that. Hate this level.

Tony, thanks for the tips. I agree the level is "hard", but it's a strategy game. I don't always get a royal flush when I play poker, or "21", or the jackpot on slots. I do feel the game has too few moves for the level of difficulty and the blockers involved. Perhaps the developers can rethink this aspect of the game. Keep on crushing!!!
Finally got it on try 122 (yes, I counted). Took three hammers at the end. Only had 1 move left. Thank god that's over with!

This is my first time posting, this level blows, I mean we have had lots of hard levels we complain about but I have been able to stick it out and get through it. Not this level, it's very rare I get both cakes cleared and the fish are still stuck on the sides. I am totally frustrated and see no end to this level unless they fix it. Why do the fish on all the other levels eat the cake and it does not on this level? Who was drinking when they created this monster.? I maybe done playing whether I like it or not.
....it's true...King cheats...it's that simple. I quit then came back and arrived at this level...after playing for days I was SO close I bought three hammers...released cherry on the left..then the one bar on the right..but lo and behold: the cherry just sat there at the bottom....this is nothing but a ripoff...and I'm charging back my purchase and leaving this pick pocket operation behind...have fun if you can people...but for me there is zero enjoyment with these games...and it's time to find something better....

Got a lot of side stripes before the fishes helped me hitting the cakes. After the cakes blew up, the cherries come down by themselves.
I must have been very lucky, I completed this first go in just a few moves using a sprinkle stripe combo . I thought I was going to be stuck here for ages , but the screen just went crazy !!!
I obviously got lucky. First time and finished with 21 moves left. Got 2 wrap/ stripe,combos that cleared the cakes and the cherries fell all the way.
The fish don't eat anything other than regular candy.
They do NOT touch the pizza.
They RARELY touch any cages or creams.
Seems to go against what they've been doing on all the levels up to this one.

I've got to call Shenanigans on this level.
I've just blown through five lives where I've seen at least 10 fish just disappear, without touching a candy, pizza or creams.
Worse, I've seen a striped fish go and eat another fish, that didn't release and go off to eat other things, instead, it became a stripe and blew up.
This is a stalling level and I definitely feel like King is cheating on this one, changing the rules as they go along to keep us stuck here while new levels are developed, or to make us spend money on boosters.

Battled with this on the mobile, completed it first try on the laptop! The fish wont eat the cake slices on the mobile but they go straight for them on the laptop.
SERIOUSLY buggy. I just played (for the millionth time) and saw a striped fish that I activated completely take out one of the cherries. It just DISAPPEARED. I have also had one of the cherries get stuck in the middle on past tries. Gonna stop playing for a time so King can fix this level. It's gotta be possible, I know, since 3 of my friends have done it. But is isn't playing fair for me.
I read a few posts and thought about making myself a noose. I used one of my wheels, and concentrated on clearing the cakes. I took no notice of the cherries, and after striking a wheel in the side column, the board went nuts and both cherries must have gone wherr they shoyld have, as I then saw those heavenly words :-)

This level is bugged on iOS devices for sure. Ive tried it numerous times. Ive mixed a stripe with a fish and had both striped fish hit both cherries causing them to dissapear. Ive had a cherry fall through the bottom where I assumed it would appear in the space where I removed the centre block,,,but no, nothing. The fish are useless, hitting fruit thats already been released from jelly or cage, never have they ate cake. At times mixing stripes, the effect doesnt remove cream off the middle block.
Boring screen as there arent enogh moves either.
The past few blocks of levels lately have either been very hard for no reason or boring. Time for a new kind of level King or some kind of help rather that giving levels to slow down people while you develop more.
I cleared the cakes and all the blockers but one with a lot of luck in the first try with 7 moves to go. Cherry from the right should have fallen on the cherry on the left with just one blocker under it which only needed one more strike to clear it completely. I was planning to use a hammer on it if i coldnt clear it in my 7! moves to go, cos i heard from a friend how hard the level is, but the cherry just dissappeared copetely from the board and didnt come back ever! Bizar!

Wow...I've been on this level for what seems forever (probably about a week) and came nowhere close to finishing. I refused to use boosters because so often I wouldn't even come close. Then I read some of the comments here and decided to try it on Facebook on my PC. Got it on the second try. I even had a lot of moves left over (I was in so much shock that I had gotten it that I forgot to look to see how many moves I had left.) I even managed to get the highest score of my 5 friends who have gotten past it. And yes...the fish will eat the cake on the PC but not on Android.
Same here. The middle was clear. The left cherry was gone. I used a hammer on the last blocker holding back the cherry. It ended up in the middle with no way to get it out. Done.

Fish still don't eat anything to help. I don't mind hard board but this is no fun at all to play. Possibly the worst ever because there are no moves and just a waste of time even more than usual. If the fish would help this would be doable but not without. I know this game is free but have a heart.
So, where's the exit for the fruit on the right? I see there's a port at the bottom on the right column but still confused as to where the fruit is supposed to exit! It's hard enough with getting through this and with so few moves! Thought I had it and wasted my boosters, got left fruit out and dropped the right but it just sat there at the bottom!!! I feel totally hopeless after playing this level for a few days. There is no hope of ever getting through this. Fish are certainly no help. They have NEVER touched anything major and often take away a good set up. Coconut wheels were also wasted on this level. This is ridiculous. The fish should be eating the jelly or at least part of the cakes, but they don't. We are all good players because we made it this far, but this level is all luck. I'm missing out on promotional things that candy crush is doing because I can't get off this level.
Yeah, wasting fish. They are worthless. Good God, get me off this level. I don't even know what to do. Someone said they passed without using any boosters. Well, it's my turn cause I don't have any boosters and I'm NOT buying any. There was a mention of cc giving us boosters. Ha, only if you buy em. Most of the time the ones you've built up, get wasted. What a joke. And the spin wheel never gives you what you need for the level you're on so those boosters go wherever, idk cause I don't get them. They should be available no matter what level your on. So.....I have never posted a comment before, and don't tend to agree with folks who bad-mouth CC....after all - it's a free game, right? However, this level has finally gotten to me. This is more for an FYI for King than for anything, and it includes a lot of what other people have said. But, for the record, here's my list of issues:
1) The fish don't do anything helpful unless you mix them with stripes or wraps. However, they can cause the game to become un-winnable. For instance, I had a stripe/fish combo and the fish turned the left hand cherry into a stripe. It then wiped out everything in the left hand column but the cherry was gone.
2) One time I had everything cleared except the right hand column (including the middle blocker). When I cleared the right hand column the cherry ended up at the bottom of the middle board - it didn't flow through to the left hand column.
3) Overall, there are way too many useless moves forced on a player considering there are so few moves available to start. This means that strategy is pretty much out the window since you often only have one move as an option.
4) Finally, my only thought is that maybe this is King's effort to encourage players to buy boosters? However, having played a few games using all of my free boosters and still not getting anywhere, I really don't think that's the case. Somebody just needs to carefully review this level and make appropriate changes.
I will continue playing......I know that sooner or later I will get a board with a setup to allow me to win. But it's not much fun and if I wasn't already so far down this road I'm not sure I would have taken it, lol.

I passed this totally disgusting level! Just keep playing, there is no skill involved. Just keep playing until the lucky board comes or you go mad! I finally had a double sprinkle bomb and some other lucky breaks. However, I noticed that lately all my extra lives from Friends disappear. I see the envelope in the right hand corner but when I finish a game and want to get them they are gone. I have not closed the game. By playing they just disappear. Has anyone else got the glitch? I didn't think I would ever say this but I think it's time to leave this game.this last episode has had nothing but hard levels. This level is completely impossible. I've just read the posts from November and I can honestly say the game has not had any new developments. So it's goodbye from me.

Started with coconut wheel booster which did a great job of thinning the cakes down. Got one cake clear within a couple of moves more and the other cake took a bit longer. Best board I'd had at this stage. Still needed two hammers to clear blockers in tram lines, then 5 extra moves and a switch. But at least the level is done.
Lucky to have moved on back when. Came back to see, played twice and fish ate cherry and perfectly good candies. It's disgraceful this hasn't been fixed.

I cannot figure out how to do this board. I can get the cherries to drop but only one drops and goes out. The other one lands in the bigger middle part of the board and seems stuck. Has this happened to anyone else? How do you get the other cherry to drop down the chute and go out??

Well...I'm at a loss with this one. The amount of moves doesn't give you a chance, the fish are totally useless and oftentimes take out a good move. These last few levels have been trying at best. Evil! Ha!

Wow King... You are losing tons of players now and all because of this stupid idiotic level that is total boring and total BS and totally taking all my boosters!! It would be nice if it could be winnable! I've about had it with a game that I've played for years because of the enjoyment but now the enjoyment is totally gone. I mean, come on, REALLY??????
Well, here are my two cents on this level...I always come to this blog when I have trouble, even to affirm that I am not missing something obvious. So my advice is...chill out! It took me probably 20 tries to beat this, and when I did it was with no boosters (tried a candy wheel a couple of times to no avail). You win this with a combo of skill and a lucky board, like most cc levels. And really, this level has no bombs..no chocolate...it's not that awful. Everyone always complains about King, but what do you expect, it's a free game but they are a company, they aren't paying the employees rainbows. I have been playing this game for about 2 plus years and I pay for gold bars sometimes, especially when they have a deal. If I have paid 40 bucks for all the time I have played this game, what a good deal!
Posting for luck. I did notice there are sp25 moves on my MAC but 30 on iPad. Will stick with the iPad.
The Most ridiculous level ever. Imagine sometime when I move a fish with a wrapped candy it blowup one of the ingredients!!! I could again find it and the game becomes useless to continue
I've been playing the game for just over two years. I always seem to be three months behind those that first reached a given level. I've seen the early players complain about a ridiculously difficult level, only to see that by the time I reached the level, King had apparently listened to the community and eased up a bit. But that doesn't seem to have happened here, as I am seeing the same difficulties that the first players wrote about. I think that the only strategy is to wait until I've collected sufficient lollypop hammers to make it through a close game. Unfortunately, the levels after #1205 are not showing on my iPhone, where I still collect boosters from the daily spins, and have amassed a decent number of hammers and red hands. A nice thing about playing on my iPhone is that if I don't like the initial distribution of candy I can restart without losing a life. Don't know if I need to upgrade the software.
Here is how I beat this level. Started with a speckled ball. Reset until I got a color next to it that had a lotof the same colors under the columns. Then I worked on the cakes. When I cleared the first cake it Got the cherry to the middle. Used two of the free lollipop hammers to clear the way to get it on the left side. Then I was able to clear the last cake. Done and soooo glad to be moving on. Good luck to all

Maybe I've missed that November window of opportunity but my fish are totally worthless, they actively avoid the cake or any blockers and only hit ordinary candy or other fish.
I thought I was through today with a pow, pow, pow, colourball/stripe.
But one cherry fell into the middle bit with no way out.
Was hoping for a useful tip but it seems it is a tricky level for almost everyone else too.

Finally got through a couple of days ago.
If ever there was a level where you needed your free boosters, this is it, people. But be careful what you choose.
Basically all the ones you can tick at the start are of minimal use as you only get one. Even if you tick them all at once they probably won't get you through. My advice-don't bother.
** Main point. Middle blocker needs to be clear or fruit will spit out into middle zone instead of heading to the left column.
My advice would be to play minus boosters till you get a round where most of it is clear, including that middle blocker.
The lollipop hammer works on cream/silver. If one silver is all that is blocking a fruit, hit it.
You may also have to hit a few candies.
* Hands to make combos-if near end, well worthwhile
* Gold bars for 5 extra turns-worthwhile if you know it will get you through
I do not understand, I have removed everything but one cherry is at the bottom with no way of removing it. I am beside myself on to remove it. Does anyone have a suggestion?
What a worst level...fish are totally useless...they just eat beans only and not inside cake or near cherry...why give fish when dont have any use...
I just beat this level using 2 hammers and cashing in gold bars for 5 extra moves. Prior to this last game, I decided that if I got close I would resort to buying my way out. I wish I had the magic formula to give you, but it was pure luck. I just kept playing over and over. This board seemed no different than others but something happened - I suddenly had a clear board with only 2 one hit blockers below each fruit. With only 2 moves left there was no way I was going to let this game slip away. I used hammers to break the blockers. This got the fruits down to the portals. I used one move to make a sprinkle (luck) and right beside it I used my last move to make a stripe. Out of moves, I purchased 5 with my gold bars but only need one to swap the sprinkle and stripe! PURE LUCK. Just keep plugging away and remember how many impossible boards you've beaten to this point. It will happen
I sure hope someone is checking these messages because I don't know where else to post this. I, like soooo many others, have been trapped at this level forever. I finally decided to just BUY 50 coins so I could finish it. I got right where I needed to be to let the last cherry fall out on the left side and ran out of moves so I clicked PLAY ON. WTH??? Nothing would happen!! It won't let me use my coins to play on. I can only hit END GAME and start over. That really sucks!! I have tried several other times today, purchasing more coins (100) and again, used so many of them up to get to the point where I would just need the 5 more moves and, BAM!!! No go!! It just will not let me play on. I am just sick of this. Is there anyone to contact about issues like this??
Played this level at least 50 times each on PC and Kindle Fire tablet, never had a jelly fish eat a piece of the cake bomb yet! Only got close once so far but with no more hammers left, couldn't clear both ingredients. Keep waiting for King to FIX the FISH in this level!
Brilliant, this is THE best bullsh*t level of all. Congratulations CC on coming up with a level that will lose you the most fans of all time. Including ME!!! Horrid senseless waste of time level ever. One more day and I will be gone :)
i completed this level earlier and guess what it crashed. unbelieveable is there something wrong with this level. after so many attempts I am fed up. please sort it out king. never posted on here before but thought I would see if this happened to anyone else

Totally worthless level, the worst! The fist are useless & very few meaningful moves! Hate it!
I'm about 75 tries with no boosters; no other level took over 4 days, but I'm short boosters. Fish have eaten fruit 3x and the best I've gotten to is three blocks left. I won't buy my way out, so I'm just waiting until I have at least 8 hammers and then I'll go for it. It is good to get back to reading and needlepoint.
The Board changed today. First I went to 666 to earn candy boosters, but no candy. So back to 1247 and they had candy there! First time! I got it second try with easier boards coming up with specials, using only a couple boosters.
This is the worst level by far. Never many good moves. Every time I do get the right cherry down (which isn't very often), it always goes in the middle. How do you get it to go down the left column? I just don't get this level at all. Extremely frustrating. I can't see me passing this level any time soon.
This board us RIGGED!! The fish only clear random candies in the board;NEVER even touch the cream layers, or colored foil blocks. On top of that, if you manage to break the foil on both blocks, the primary later under the cream that remains, those useless fish bypass those and go for the fruit!! Are you kidding me???? Shame on you KING!! I'm done eating my time... they need to fix this ridiculous flop of a program.
Been playing for nearly 3 years. This level is near impossible so bye bye CC it's been fun while it lasted. I officially give up now. No fun, just frustrating.
This level is insane. I don't even come close. The fish are no help at all. They never bust a meringue, which would be of some help. I usually stick through until I beat it, or buy some boosters. I spend my money on gold bars once in awhile just to keep my sanity. But this level is the one that is going to do me in and cause me to quit. I agree with a lot of comments that it should be fun, relaxing, etc. Instead it just makes me want to find a better game.
I wish I could post a screenshot of my game. There's absolutely no visible fruit and no blockers on my last move. But the screen shows only one fruit cleared.
doesn't help when the fish eat the cherries either. This has happened to me a few times so then there is actually no cherry to bring down to win and pass
I though the fish were suppsed to eat the jelly!! It's a total waste when the fish only eat the candy.
I'm not exactly sure how I did it but I got it the FIRST try by only using a coconut wheel booster and the paintbrush charm! Just use the coconut wheels to get the cakes any way possible. After the second cake blew I had only 2 moves left but after the random candies falling after the cake explosion I got one final coconut wheel and a chocolate sprinkle. I used the wheel to free up the last blocker under the fruit. For the last move i striped a candy next to the chocolate, switched...and VOILA the fruit fell!
I think I need to go out and buy a lottery ticket...
I played a few first, then I used about 7 of my coconut wheels and nothing. Then I sent an email to King as I noticed the fish wasn't destroying jelly under the candy or blockers only candies and cherry without no jelly underneath. Basically a waste of time having them. I got a reply with the usual try King care and King.com for Q&A's. But I couldn't find anything. Then I tried one sparkle and one wrapper and stripe from my booster stock, to see if that worked. I kept resetting until the stripe was next to the sparkle, but I made sure there were at least 9/10 of the same colour, although I did let one go with 13 thinking there could be more.
Anyway, it worked. But I really had to concentrate on my moves. You definitely need boosters of sparkles and wraps and stripes for this to work. At the end with only one blocker in the way of the cherries I had a stripe lined up, with only 1 move left, so I used a lollipop to hammer he stripe across the block.

I finally got the lucky board and thought I passed only to find one cherry had disappeared. How frustrating!
Worst level ever and there have been some really bad ones but this is it for me. Pointless moves that get you nowhere. Haven't even managed to move one ingredient down much less two. Don't think I will ever pass this! Help me King!!
Urg. Crappy level. I don't like the ones where you don't have any choice for most of your moves. Finally got this with a coconut wheel booster and 3 lollipop hammers to drop the final cherry.
I don't know if the game has been adjusted since all of the comments above, but I finally won after four days. Two stars, no boosters. Here's my tips. (1) Ignore the fish. They don't help, don't go after jelly. Use them when you need to refresh the board. (2) Examine the candies above the fish for opening moves to destroy the hard-to-reach lower half of the cakes. If you can reset the game without losing a life, do this until you get a good opening. (3) whenever you can make a combo, seize the opportunity. The board will reward you by sending you more combos down. (4) Remember to clear all the jelly from the middle space. The cherry on the right column must travel through the middle square, over to the left column where it will exit. Good luck! JayJay
was all set to go...had coconut wheel positioned to take out the blockers in both columns. bought 5 more moves and purchase wouldn't go through because of glitch. had to quit game. ugh
One year later, and it's still a crappy level. Boring and just moving colors around with no hope of passing. Moving on. And it will not be with this game.
You MUST USE each allowable booster at one time. Wait until they line up. Clear as much of the board. Used hammer for last piece of cake and somehow the two fruit wound up on the left side with only one jelly left, had 14 moves left and finally lined up a stripe. Yahoo, moved on. This level is absolutely impossible without boosters. Don't waste money for extra moves. Store up your boosters by giving yourself a break from the game and collecting freebies daily. If you got this far, don't quit because of this stupid level. You WILL GET IT
Another ridiculous level by cc. Do they want us to stop playing? Why not go the whole hog and throw in some chocolate's and bombs!!! Btw, does anyone know the point of the fishes except for wrecking your set up?

I never hated the fish before but because of this level I've developed an unhealthy dislike for anything with gills.

Well I have played this level for a couple of days now, and yes it's difficult. But tonight I had an awesome run and everything was clearing very quickly, but then suddenly the cherry top left completely disappeared from the screen. I cheared everything on the screen with a 2 coloured bomb combo but the 2nd cherry never reappeared! Wtf! Very frustrating!!!!
Just starting this level. Never have seen so many comments. Wow! Really afraid to even start it.
I am not sure what just happened. Passed this on 4th try. I don't know how it happened. Got a stripe with a chocolate bar right away, cleared both cakes. Had one blocker on left side (cherries were over it). Hit it with hammer and that took care of it. Done. with 3 stard 91,0000 + points. Thank you King.

Won after 5 - 6 attempts. Make sure that the center meringue is cleared before moving the right ingredient and that there is room in the left column for it. Got 2nd cherry in the left column with 6 moves remaining, made 2 horizontals and cleared all but 3 jellies. Bit the bullet and used 3 hammers to get the ingredient out the portal. Onward.

Wow, what a bunch of b.s. this level is. I used every tip on here and only got through it because of a lucky board where I got a licorice and a striped together. Then used a hammer to finish up the last cake. Luckily the cherry didn't get stuck anywhere. Only played this level a zillion times, lol.
This level is ridiculous! Have been playing for at least 6 weeks! Ready to delet this game. The fish do nothing! No longer fun! Time to end this game!
This is too much like work. I like a challenge, but this is borderline silly. The fun is gone and so am I -- at least for a while. Not even close to beating this level.

Well, it took me about 30 tries but I beat it without boosters. I redeal on my phone until I can make a stripe using the fish on the bottom row just to the right of the center column. That leaves the stripe right on top of the fish...switching them often activates a vertical stripe in the first or last column. That's a pretty good start. Then I managed to get a stripe-colorbomb as well as 2 stripe-packets. I had 5 moves left when the second stripe-packet finished the jelly by activating the second cannon when it cleared the pie. I hope everybody gets as lucky!

The fish are worthless, they never go to the far left or right, not even once. On PC/Facebook there are only 30 moves while on mobile device there are 35. Neither is enough and I can't come even close.
I had to use way too many lollipops but it was worth it just to be able to move on. Here's the thing: when the cherry in the far right moves down it goes to the center of the board. In order to get it out of the center you have to make a move in the far left. I did this but had three candies I had to take out with lollipops because I only had two moves left. So glad to be done with this nasty level.
p.s. in all the games I played the fish never once took out a pie slice or a blocker... stupid fish!! lol
I am looking for tips on the newest version of Level 1247 - I cannot seem to find any videos with a game board layout like I am seeing (January 2017) - only one row of jellies above the pie at the top-right of the game board and below the pie in the bottom-left of the pie. I have released both cherries at least twice with many moves to spare, but the cherry from the right-hand column falls into the middle section (instead of falling into the left-hand column as the jellies do) somehow and is stuck there permanently.
I agree with you all.. This is really crazy level. Even though I cleared the cake and the fruits were all ready to reach its destination.... But the cake doesn't blow the barrier in the middle.... And it becomes hard enough to get stripped candies created and burst with limited moves. Do make some internal changes.

Finally passed this disgusting, frustrating level. I used all three boosters and reset the board until the sprinkle and stripe were side by side. So couple more moves and both cakes cleared at once so board was cleared twice. That almost took out everything but the fruit on the right side had one move below it blocking it. In the middle across from it there was a sprinkle and licorice side by side so combined them and that cleared the board again with lots of moves left. It seems to me that that was the only possible way to win after hundreds of tries and using no boosters. Can someone please tell me which earlier games give out lots of free boosters as I haven't been able to find them?!

I passed this level after about ten attempts and reading these hints. I used the coconut wheel. I kept restarting the game until I got one that had the wheel at the top. I ran it down, so that the striped candies went sideways, taking out the candies directly under the cherries, so that when the cherry on the right dropped, it would have room to fall into the left side. After that, I concentrated on the cakes. When you clear the cakes, there's very little left to deal with. So it won't take too many attempts to get the correct candies lining up to clear this level.
You have to release both fruits to get the one out of the center. It will fall on right ir left side. Did it with 20 moves left. Also ised coconut wbeel

Stuck on this level for over two years. Wasted over 10000 lives and countless boosters. Plus this level has bugs as well. Each game, one of three outcomes: cherry drop into the middle board with no exit, cherry didn't drop when it has the right to drop, or cherry vanishes into thin air. Even hacked this game to give infinite lives and infinite moves, and I'm still stuck despite using those hacks. Am I playing against openAI in this level, as in many other levels of the game?
Still stuck. Two and a half years. This is one of the levels that even if you have unlimited lives, unlimited moves and unlimited boosters (via a mod), you can still lose the level. Cheat!

Stupid dumbass level that I've been stuck for almost three years. Once I downloaded hacks for this game and give me infinite moves, infinite boosters and infinite hammers, and yet STILL CAN'T PASS??!?!! CC, you are OUTCHEATING us.
Glitches galore. Disappearing cherry, fish ate normal candies and never go for the blockers, cherry turning into stripe/wrap, cake being hit no effect, cherry stuck on bottom. Boosters never help and fishes are more like your enemies rather than your friend. For those who just reached this level, I have one advice: QUIT playing CC or DIE trying to pass 1247. WARNING: FISHES ARE YOUR ENEMIES NOT YOUR FRIEND. They destroy your every setup. Also reshuffle glitch is still there. With just four colours it should be easy to make moves but NOT on this level. Dozens of times I make first move, then shuffle, and then... no more moves. Candy droppings are somehow kept under control...

Today I just spotted another glitch. Matched 4-in-a-row and I got what? No striped candy. Also, matched L or T and no wrapped candy. WTH?? Bejeweled 1!! In CandyCrush?? With no special candies whatsoever - no stripes, no wraps, no CBs, then how to clear those blockers, let alone those cakes?? I've been stuck on this very level on... entering my 178th week on this level. Quit and returned four times and no avail.
Just when I thought I beat the level with a vertical stripe on the left column, then the game cheats again... the cherry got stuck on the left column... with NOTHING blocking it. The cherry should fall but it stays a few, EMPTY, slots above where it should exit. How could one pass this level, if this level is full of glitches and also cheats??
This level is not only hard, it cheats!!! If you just arrived at this level, prepare to spend YEARS on this level if not being stuck on this level until you die. Not my game anymore so I choose the latter - I prefer to stuck on this level for the rest of my life because I quit. I prefer to play other games not made by kingsize. Bye bye 1247. Agreed. The odds of clearing ONE cake within the few moves given are beyond astronomical, let alone both cakes and getting the cherries down. Should I say billions, trillions, quadrillions to one?? And also combos that hit the cakes, no effect?? Not even infinite moves can get you off this level.
What is the meaning of insanity? It's defined as doing the exact same thing over and over and over again, expecting a different result. Doing this level thousands and thousands of times exactly fit this definition. It's an exercise in futility. Bey Bey CC.
WARNING: FISHES ARE YOUR ENEMIES, NOT YOUR HELPING HANDS. Why I say that? They never eat the blockers nor the cakes, PC or mobile. They destroy your potential combos, setting them off prematurely. Worse, they eat the cherry. Since there's no new cherry will be dropped, not even infinite moves can solve this level. Striped fish can almost always target your cherries, turning them into stripe and blow off, hence the cherry is gone never to return.
No, no, nooooo... I will NOT recommend CC Soda or CC Jelly or any King games, because I heard the same dirty tactic applies to them. As long as it's a King game, I boycott them all.
For a match-3 game, I'll rather recommend Bejeweled or Chuzzle for simple games with endless gameplay; or dozens of Playrix games for a bit challenging but doable games. These games always play by the rules and never cheat; King games cheat at times.

This level is beyond ridiculous. If a game doesn't operate by the pre-set rules, then the game cheats. CC sometimes can break its own rules, like cherry disappearing for no reason. CC cheats, and bye bye is the answer.

I watched the walktrough vidio again and again, still can't pass. BS. This sh** level is not to be passed. On this level everyone stop paling iT, so am i. Candy crush said it has over 4500 levels, i don't care!! Must not think about 3200+ levels to go, so i quitt. No fun at all, no motivation, no challenge to go on, just bloody annoying and fu**ing irritating. Waisting time, so no more levels for me for this old boring annoying outdated cavemen game!! Bey Bey!!
OMG I can't believe it woke up this morning and passed first time with just one hand swap, after playing at least 200 hundred times even had moves left over could have sworn this level was impossible. I was considering spending some money for the 1st time as well but did not think that would help either. Maybe I am dreaming
So... I literally just came to this site to get tips on how to complete, I was in the middle of playing it, had a cherry stuck in the wee middle thing not going anywhere no matter what I done, and one cherry in the left column with 1 block under it. I smashed the block on the left, and BOOM, BOTHHH cherries vanished! LEVEL COMPLETE! Could I do it again? Not in a million years!
Had enough. Unless I get a lucky board my days are numbered. Not a penny more will I pay . Too many other FUN games out there .
