Candy Crush Saga Level 2174 Cookies tips and video

Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2174 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
This level is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
Level 2174 is a dual task level, you need to collect the 4 ingredients as well as clear the jelly in 30 moves.
This is all about timing... You need to work on getting the ingredients down the steps in the middle of the board by making moves that allow them to fall at exactly the right time. The time when they will drop down to the next level is when they are close to, or immediately above, the bottom right corner on the conveyor. They must be travelling downwards for them to drop into the lower level and your move needs to move the candies in the left side of the section where you want the fruit to go.
See image below.
In the image you can see that if I move the green across to the left the cherry on the right of the top section will be able to drop down into the middle section.
You have to get all 4 cherries down to the bottom section and they will drop out of the exits without you having to do anything further.
While you are waiting for the cherries to get into position you can be making moves to clear jelly in the other sections of the board.
You need to plan your moves very carefully to have any chance of passing level 2174.
You will get mystery candies from the dispensers at the top which with luck will turn into helpful special candies.
The video below starts with 35 moves but the strategy is the same.

This episode has been much better than past ones. However, this level is very hard. Have tried all the boosters and cant get close. Waiting for lucky board.

Completed with 6 moves left. Concentrate on moving the cherries and with a bit of luck the rest should be easy. I did use a fish booster which helped.

Worst level ever... Candy crush is not about knowing how to play but about if it feels like giving you a break. Twice I was about to finish it and cc gave me chocolat and bombs. I sooooo sick of wasting lives when its already arranged for you to fail.... and for a while now its not possible to play on a tablet or iphone cc doesnt connect.... you should be ashame cc

I needed one jelly so attempted to purchase extra hammers - ended up with gold bars that I then couldn't convert to hammers !!! WTF !!! I have disputed the charge..... Complete scam

Dee said...

You can't buy hammers to complete unless you buy 5 more moves if you didn't have any moves left

I confess. I got so frustrated losing by an ingredient or a jelly so many times, I used all the boosters given at the start.
iPhone/3 boosters/1 star

How frustrating. Many boards simply can't be won. Still, over and on we go.

Good luck from Manila

Don't torture yourself... just accumulate a bunch of hand swaps & use them when fruit is in position to fall. I used some of my accumulated hand switches & hammers & was done with this level. After all isn't this why we have them? NC

Thank you for the diagram. Without it, I would never have understood how to make the cherries drop. Still have not passed this level yet, but I hope to soon!

Oh my...Posting for luck, hope, sanity....Wait, I lost that after level 800!
Crush On!

Posting for luck - because that and/or boosters is the only way I'm passing this!

Got it the very next game. Started with all 3 boosters, used 2 lollipop hammers, and had a lot of luck!

Got this eventually without resorting to using boosters but did get 5 free extra moves. A few times I had all the fruit off but couldn't get all the jellies. Only once did I clear the jellies but not the fruit. It was frustrating trying to get the moves to drop the fruit down. In my last game I have two chances to make sprinkles when the board opened and using them I managed to get all four fruit down the first step. They were easy to get down from there. Another sprinkle cleared most of the remaining jelly but I had two left at the end. I had a free spin for extra moves, which luckily I got, and two moves finished it off.

Such a difficult level to get everything in the right position.

Such a difficult level to get everything in the right position.

Only 30 moves, not 35.

Extremely difficult level to get cherries to move diagonally. Frustrating!

Important level. Have no idea how to get all the cherries in the correct position to move. Will be on this level a very very long time.

Posting for luck. Posting for sanity. Posting for the knowledge to just go back to playing spider solitaire on my Vic20!!!!!!

30 moves on iPad not 35. Please correct.

Haven't we had this same game before? Has anyone else noticed the recycling of previous levels. If you have run out of ideas CC then end the game. Oh sorry, you make too much money from frustrated players. Not this little black duck. I have not spent a cent. Keep trying fellow players, you will get it.

I haven't won yet, but I'm at least enjoying this level. It does take luck, but there is skill to it as well

You can hammer your way out of this one if you have a big stash and a fish helps a lot too. Cookie's diagram is a little misleading... you don't have to make a match of three to bring the cherry down. When the cherry is in the bottom right position hammer the candy diagonally under it. Do this when the cherry is in the same position in the middle and while you are waiting for the cherry to get there take care of the jellies.

Posting for luck. It will take a lucky board though. Haven't come close. Cherry can jump in funny ways too and not drop down the way they should. Good luck everyone.

Posting for luck very frustrating!

Thank you Suzy O! After struggling for a week, I passed it right away using the tip about hammering ( see above) and it only took 2 hammers! Phew!

Like Suzie O tips, but still hoping for a lucky board

so very hard ;((

Really really hard level. I have lost many life's on this one. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I move the candies when the cherries are in the correct place but they don't want to move. Very frustrating. I hope I get a lucky board soon.

Anonymous said...

Posting for luck - can't even get close

Denise said...

Another f——ked up level!!!!

I'm getting nowhere near beating this one.
I don't have Hammers so I can't drop the fruits by hitting the one in the box below.
Guess I'm stuck to wait for a Lucky Board (again?)

This was a great level! I just came here to see if people were actually complaining. What's to complain about? Once you understand how the fruit moves, it's all about strategy...prioritize getting the fruit out..cause let's face it - a cherry at the top is useless in a board with several random jellies..if you can't move a fruit, clear jellies making specials when you can. TAKE YOUR TIME..plan every move. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

I beg to differ that it’s all about strategy. I know what l need to do to make the fruit drop, but more often than not the moves just aren’t there to do it. If you can’t match three jellies in the bottom two squares that the fruit moves through, there’s not a lot you can do without a hammer. Making stripes in the top and bottom segments to zap the two squares doesn’t work either as there’s not enough room to make them.

Anonymous said...

Added to above: can’t even be bothered with it any more ...

Anonymous said...

Posting for luck! Hard level. What use are the gold bars? How do you use them???

Anonymous said...

Tough one but kind of fun. I've come very close but ........

Hey! Need luck!

Anonymous said...

No fun for me...

Alessandra said...

Ugh this is impossible and tedious
Going to need a miracle to pass this one .

Having to deal with two carousels dropping down the fruit is just too difficult
& the Candies never match up at the right time

Total crap

Anonymous said...

Waiting for a lucky board, the only way this is going to work :(

Carole said...

Just waiting again for lucky board...sp hard. Don't understand how that works

Anonymous said...

er mer gerd

Why?

No strategy no matter how you plan.
Gonna take a lucky board!

Anonymous said...

I think my time is up with Candy Crush. Much too frustrating with these levels until cc decides to give you that lucky board.

Anonymous said...

Another sucky one,if you had 35 moves instead of 19 like I have on iPad,would be a piece of cake, why do they keep changing the moves, would lik3 to see a video of 19 moves. It’s impossible..C C is starting to suck
