Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2518 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2518 is an extremely hard level, you have only 10 moves to clear all the jelly and complete the level.
There is no jelly under the spawners, so in theory there is no need to destroy them to clear the jelly.
However each time you destroy a spawner it will take the surrounding jelly with it.
After the first two moves the spawners will begin to spawn bombs with a countdown of only 5 moves, so these bombs can't be ignored, the absolutely have to be cleared before they can count down.
At the start there are not many choices of move, but try to work near the bottom if you can and also make sure that every move you make is next to at least one spawner.
Once some of the blockers are cleared and the board is opened up a bit you should look for colourbomb combos, either switched with a wrap, stripe or even another colourbomb. This will give you plenty of hits on the spawners and with luck will also clear the bombs.
You are likely to lose quite a few lives on this level, I went through them at a rate of 2 a minute!
But as you can see from the video below, if you play carefully and think about every move before you make it you can pass level 2518 without using boosters.
If you want to use boosters you may find a jelly fish booster useful.

I really wish there was some sort of strategy or logic to this one...I can't even get close before the timed bombs go off...it has to be luck, luck, luck....I tried to concentrate on the jelly, then the spawners, then making any kind of bombs, and then a combination thereof...but to no avail....I hope this one ends soon.
I dont know whats the purpose of this level. Entertaining and Fun surely not!
Even using boosters is useless. Again only waiting for a lucky board !
It's almost impossible but if you get the right board you can delay the bombs. If you hit each of the spawners in the first 4 moves you can delay the bombs to move 6. In the 100 times I've played, I've gotten that set up only twice and still haven't beat it.
I think this is the utmost idiotic level so far in this game.
Please ,really. Video did it with I don't know how many booms. It's completely unrealistic. This level is just awful. Hate the bombs.
How about a longer countdown on the bombs?

Really King. No. I don't see how I can do this unless i used a magic helmet and all the boosters. I need to find a game to replace this nightmare.

Like all these very tough levels, I do notice that I get a few 'breaks' until eventually my lucky board will come. Twice now I have blown all spawners, but with just 2 moves left to clear 18+ jellies I still didn't win. I am now posting so the real lucky board arrives.
And done, 3 lollipop hammers.
Looks like we will need more then a lucky board on this one just can not even get close.

I was really close to win the first time I tried. Would've won if I had 2 lollipops. but after that more I play I play worse. How is it even the cb I make disappear when if I don't use it right away? I really need a break from this level. please help me.

Ok so I will also post hoping for the lucky board. Gotta say, I am not enjoying this episode very much. I broke down and used 10 gold I had won for level 2017 to finish that horrible level. Hoping for an easier run on this one. Stay positive!

I went away for a few hours and returned to win after 4 tries (following about 75). 3 stars. Go figure. I have NO IDEA how I won but I'll take it. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
After completing 2517 and feeling absolutely no satisfaction since it was a lucky board, I started this game and saw the amount of moves, then the bombs appeared and all I could do was LAUGH! Hahahahahahahahhahahahah ridiculous. Time to quit hahahahaha

Notice how nobody is talking about magic helmets and resetting anymore? Now it's rigged for us to need extra moves. This game has gone to pot and boiled.

There is life after this level! Thank you Ms. Cookie, I always try to follow your advise. Of course, luck was involved. Just had to pay .99 cent - well spent money - to crush a time bomb. Fellow crushers, if I can do it, anybody can. Good luck from DC.

Struggled for a couple days. Took a shot and used all 3 boosters (color ball, stripe/wrap and fish), got lucky with the color ball aligned next to a stripe for first move. Easily passed with several moves left. If you have boosters, they will help here.
Incredibly, I got this level after about 5 tries. I did not get the double color bomb, but had enough to clear the spawners and the jelly. Don't give up!
Anyone else having a glitch on this level? I have played a few games now where I get bombs around a clock/things, get the clock/thing to explode, but the bombs DO NOT GET WIPED... I have had this end my game a few times where I had one tick left on a bomb, made the clock/thing explode right beside it, then the bomb stays, goes to zero, and my game is over... this is why I will NEVER put one red cent into playing this game... Endless hours of my life I'll never get back? Yes. Money? No...

Did it first try now that episode is on mobiles and with the help of fish booster and helmets.
Well THAT was weird. The bombs never appeared and I'm trying to figure out what I did. I'd settled in for many days of frustration on this one. I got a sprinkle ball the second move, took out all the blues. Then got another sprinkle paired with a stripe, which took out a bunch of spinners. A few more moves here and there, and game over. No bombs and 2 stars on my PC, no boosters. Glad to be done with it!!
After 3 attempts I took a color bomb and wrap/stripe combo for booster. I tried so long until I had a bomb /wrap combo for beginning. This destroyed so much that I passed the level with 8 moves left.
Chocolate sprinkle/wrap combo with some of same color candies as wrap in close proximity to spawners. Had 13 moves on Android with 7 count bombs. Finished 1st try with 6 moves left.

Got this one in one try - thought to check to see if it's really that easy for everyone. No boosters or help and yes I did get bombs, but must have just had a very lucky board....
I finally won this horrible level by hand switching my sprinkle ball with a stripe, also from booster, early on in the game. Cleared enough and slowed the spawners down. I'm going to need to go back and collect more special candies bc I'm going through the boosters on this episode! I don't have a magic helmet...is that something you can get on iPad version?
OK either I got a really lucky board or they changed it in the update
Used the helmet and a fish booster thinking I needed lots of fire power...

The only way I could pass was to start with CB and wrap combo because the wraps help to blow up the evil spawners early on so you have a chance. Also threw in the fish booster which really helped.
1st try, 3 stars,no boosters.
On ipad, with Full Magic Helmet, had 16 moves. Got it first time. I restarted the board several times to have the colourbomb next to the wrapped candy; my first move, the switch of the wrap with the colourbomb, destroyed all but 5 of the jellies and I finished with 11 moves to spare and 2 stars. First time I've not spent days on a superhard level.
Passed without booster, em nor helmet. To me, this stage is easier than 2517.

The only way to pass is to use all boosters, reset or switch so sprinkle is next to the wrap, hey presto!!!

Wow, on my first try I thought, 13 moves, that's impossible, so I came here to see how many moves they took away only to find out they actually added 3. Unbelievable. So I went back for my second try and pondered hard on using color bomb and wrap Booster and resetting until I got them together with the right mix of color. Instead I went in Booster free and got this one good. Things lined up well for me. Hope it does for you future trckers.

Finally, I got down to 2 jellies left and that was all she wrote! I was out of moves and no boosters to use!
In my view, it's levels like 2517 and 2518 that are destroying this game. Not one iota of skill is required, whatsoever. They are totally tedious levels, they are impossible to achieve without a lucky board, so, it seems they are just here to hold you up and frustrate you. You have to wait 30 minutes for a life, for it to last a matter of seconds. How many people quit because of these absolutely boring levels, is that the aim?

I don't usually post but really???? This has to be the most ridiculous level by far. The bombs make it impossible. Why King??? WHY??? :(
Ignore the bombs, they only keep you from the last 2 moves. Don't worry about the spawners, just focus on clearing out frosting/licorice etc. If you have the right board, this will cause chain reactions, knock out the spawners, which will in turn knock out the bombs and frosting.
This level is just awful!

I play this for enjoyment but this level is stressful. All those ticking bombs and almost impossible.
After reading the comments here, I used a colorbomb and stripe/wrap boosters. Reset till the colorbomb and stripe were together. Done with moves to spare.
Started with sprinkle and wrap together. All over in 2 moves. Only way to go :)

I managed to pass this level yesterday, but I received an error, so today I had to do it all over again. FML
Well after playing CC from the start this level has finished me!!
Over 3 weeks on it now, not near to finishing it.

I have noticed that a lucky board appears after I seek help for a level. This one is a nightmare! Grrrr!
Read the tips and decided to go ahead and use color bomb and stripe/wrap, reset until color bomb was next to a stripe. That opened up the board and managed to blow up one of the spinners. Not too hard after that, I was down to two spinners before any bombs showed up and by blowing up the other spinners that took care of the bombs. Glad to be done with this one!
Once again, posting for luck. Low on boosters so going to take a lot of that luck.
I beat this level on my phone while on a 2 week vacation in June. I won 30 levels during that time and I can't remember how I beat it. Maybe a lucky helmet? I'm now on 2661. However I also play using my wifes login. I've been stuck here since 8-25 and have not even been close. Sigh.

Here's your strategy on this one: try not to fall asleep in the 3 minutes of playing time you'll get.
I can't wrap my mind around how stupid this one is. Their latest thing these days seems to be to drastically reduce the number of moves they give us. They must think they are so clever.
Yeah, my idea of a fun game is one that takes absolutely no strategy, takes 3 minutes to play, and you virtually always lose each time.
I won this one starting with all 3 boosters (cb, s/w, and fish). On my first move i was able to make another cb, so then I had two of them. I used one of them to clear out one color. Good luck was on my side then when a stripe landed next to the other cb, and there were a lot of that color on board. Setting that off wiped out a lot of jelly and cleared a couple mixers. Good luck was on my side again when I got a fish next to a stripe, which cleared most of the rest of jelly. Got another fish and made a couple more simple moves, exploded final mixer. Passed with 2-3 moves to spare.
Definitely one of the worst, stupidest level in the whole game! Really wish the game could be made fun again.

Wish I had realised how hard it was. On my first attempt I had a sprinkle and wrap and finished with one jelly left. If I had realised how hard it would be I would have purchased a hammer to finish it off! Now I am getting nowhere close. Bombs are ridiculous.
Alost impossible without a lucky board
As a couple earlier posters mentioned, if you can start or reset with a color bomb and wrap and switch together, the move opens up the board and it holds off the bombs for a number of moves. It actually gives you enough moves to elimate the rest. I finished with 9 moves left using that strategy. I didn't see any bombs. The other times I played there were so many bombs I couldn't get close. Give it a shot
P.S Regarding my post above, There is no way I could have passed this level without boosters

Well I am back watching how Cookie did it again...It feels like I have been on here for a week but it's "only " 3 days. Getting tired of it...tried with a 4th helmet and it didn't do a thing. Getting frustrated over this one...I have come close a couple times...

I've been playing this level for a good few days now ,I think ive been on this level for so long because after playing a few times the flashing bombs makes it uncomfortable so I stop playing but always come back to try again .I pity anyone playing this level who might be sensitive ,it's migraine material ,just wish I could pass and be done with it now ,its not enjoyable .
I'm done.Been at it for days.Too hard on eyes after a couple of tries and bringing on uncomfortable waves in brain.You need to change this level King especially for anyone suffering seizures or headaches.
If anything I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who thinks this level is impossible..hopefully I will pass it soon...arg...

Pretty horrible level but after reading comments went for an all three boosters attack, only took about 8 resets until got wrapped and colour bomb together, so started with that, cleared most of board but still needed two hammers to clear timed bombs and soon cleared all jelly, thanks fellow bloggers glad to move on! Still never paid king a penny, save my sugar snap free boosters for boards like this.
If you use all 3 of your boosters and have a handswitch and hammer for the end you should be good to go.Reset till you Line up the color ball with the stripe or wrap.Then begin to play.

I am quite glad.... for ages I have wondered what the heck I am playing at. no fun, stupid levels and this is the epitome. Merry Christmas everyone. Somehow I think I could buy myself a little more fun than this with my Christmas pennies. recommendations anyone? There has to be better than this . If the only chance I have to beat this idiotic level is complaining, here I am, complaining and considering quitting this oidrggmlnbfbfbfffbing game.
To bad that you can get max 5 lives. With this level you need more. 3 minutes playing and you can wait hours for new lives. It's getting more and more a lucky game.

Two in a row where you blast through lives in no time. I think the programmers have all gone on vacation and let the robot design this. There is no strategy at all. Just sit around and wait for the algorithm to determine I've played enough times to give me the win. Pretty stupid.

What does the ice cream cone booster at the bottom do, and would it help with this?
Like most of these levels, it takes a lucky screen to give you a fighting chance, but if you can start with a nice combo or two to clear out most of the screen, then you might have a chance. Combos at the bottom will help with nice cascades too. When the bombs start to appear, try to ignore them if you have a chance of clearing what is left---you will never keep ahead of them. No easy, but doable.

GEEZ !!! Once again I’m repeating my post from the previous level . DON’T waste your boosters or extra moves on this one either . Just another useless boring money grabbing level AGAIN !!!! You should not just be ashamed King, but you should also be embarrassed to release levels like these. We, the “players” would like to actually enjoy playing this game . Making levels challenging is one thing, but making them impossible for anyone to pass without constantly digging into their pockets is just wrong. Instead of developing levels that are impossible to pass , try developing some integrity and give us players a game that’s fun and yes....even challenging, but not this crap ! CC used to be such a fun game. Not anymore. What a shame.
Another level you will not pass unless King allows you to with a lucky board. It is kind of sad and hard to stay interested in a game that does not give you credit for skill - just luck.

Finally got it. I’m sure posting above for luck helped but used a choc sprinkle and a wrap/stripe, waited till I got them together and they blasted away and the chain reaction did it. Yay!

Right that's me done, I have posted for help on 2 occasions but nothing. I am sorry I am not prepared to waste my time on games such as this. I have used all of my boosters what a waste of time that was. Nothing helps and so that is me finished. I started to enjoy this game again but it has been one hard level after another.
This level is just as bad if not worst than the last level. Neither came is fun so if the next level is the same it might be time to move on from candy crush.

I've only ever posted once before. I play only on PC so I've never had the benefit of restarting until CB is next to stripe, etc. However, this one has really gotten me down, and I'm about to quit. Please, please, Mr. King, send me a board just like Cookie's!

And the players become less and less, no one like to play stupid games basic on a lucky board. Thats why cc lose a lot of players. Compare with 4 years ago they lost a lot of players. Now they try iT by a new cc game? Let melaugh, old players dont buy that.
Dont play this game regular, leave iT behind you for a while, collect free boosters every day, dont buy anything, that my advice. The levels are basic on a pure lucky board, and often you have to wait a long time. Same as roulette.

I am finally convinced that the makers of this game want higher level players to either buy lots of boosters or leave the game. It really is like playing slots now with every round requiring pure luck. I have found another similar game called Genies and Gems and will play that now.
