Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2874 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 2874 is classified as a hard level and it is very hard unless you are extremely lucky.
At the time of writing level 2874 is a very glitchy level, the task says to collect 8 popcorns as well as chocolate and licorice, but it is impossible to collect all 8 popcorns in the moves available. Chocolate is not problem as most of it is on the board and the rest will be provided by any of the spawners that is released by clearing a popcorn.
As you start to grow the popcorns you will see that each one counts as two so you only need to grow 4 of them, for this reason it is best to either work on one side or concentrate on just a few of the popcorns so you don't waste moves growing more than you need.
Wrapped candies and stripe/wrap combos are the best way to grow the popcorns, but with a restricted board it isn't easy to make either.
Clear the chocolate first but at the same time look for chances to make stripes and wraps.

This took a ridiculously lucky level to beat. I ended up getting 3 chocolate sprinkle/stripe combos and I still had to buy 5 extra moves to get the last couple of items I needed.
Wow! Can't even get close on this one....there aren't many, if any, opportunities to make stripes or wraps and not much time to do it in, either.....no option that I can see except a lot of luck...hoping I don't have to waste too much time here before getting more frustrated than I am.
This level is killing me. I think it is impossible
Okay, now seriously, HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO WIN THIS LEVEL???? I think Anonymous is correct....I have been playing awhile now and can't even get close...at the current version, it is impossible....

Oh boy-managed to scrape through the previous level only to find this horrible one. It seems impossible to me, with so many ingredients to collect with that number of moves. Hurry up lucky board-I'm getting very fed up!!

Got it with no boosters. Make sure you use the colourbomb right away once you break the popcorn. Otherwise you lose it and you don't get enough licorice. Plus switching the colourbomb wirh any colour causes specials and cascades that help to pop the popcorn. Good luck!

I begun with a sprinkleball/wrap combo and so I passed it easy

With space dash, I also started with a sprinkle wrap combo and still had a struggle. Once a popcorn burst and the sprinkle ball got covered with chocolate while the cascade was going on. The licorice is hard to get. Finally got down to needing one licorice when the moves ran out so I used 10 gold bars from my stash to finish.

Got this after only a few tries not using boosters. Mostly luck. Used two lollipops to crack the last popcorn. A few wraps well placed helped. Yes, use those sprinkle balls quickly or they will be gone. At the same you eliminate colors giving a better chance of creating special candies.

I achieved a colorbomb with a helmet, added a colorbomb of my own, reset til they were together, set them off together. Waited until the cherry was in a position to drop, set off the new piñata booster (as another player suggested), the rest was easy.
Twice I got the chocolate and popcorn but can't get the licorice as fast it comes the chocolate covers it before I can even try. HELP
I give up, impossible to get the licorice.
So fed up with this level... ugh...
Couldn't manage to have one last licorice to fall down in the end. Must be some error from King... Don't waste your boosters like I did. Just post for luck and wait for a lucky board. Good luck to me as well!

Colored bomb/wrapped candy is the trick. Remember, you can get colored bomb on level 2000.

Beyond annoyed!! More pissed!! This level is so ridiculous!! You have 8 popcorn that requires 3 hits each, while fighting chocolate!! All with only 30 moves!! What a home! This is obviously a tactic to force us to BUY boosters!! You don't win extra moves with space dash!!

I hate this level!! It requires extra moves!! Which are for sale!!! If & when you break open a popcorn you get a color bomb, the problem is chocolate covers it immediately!! You never get to use it!! So irritated!! This game is no longer fun!! It's all about making money!!I don't want to buy more boosters!
As candy mentioned the popcorn is count as 2. But I found that it actually count one and if the color bomb from the popcorn is also used it count to the popcorn. As such the advice to keep playing on one side is good. Point to note choice the side which can made more wrap or clear the chocolate below dispenser for strips candy to drop me
Ok, after slugging my way through one ridiculous level after another this episode, this one takes the cake. I'm done with this game (should have quit a long time ago).
This is going to be an impossible level. My popcorns do not count as 2. Not enough moves to get his one done
Hi I mention that growing popcorn count as 1 and activating the popcorn colorbomb will add another count unless king fix the glitch.

I only had to use all my boosters at the beginning and had to use ONLY 3 hand- and 4 lollypopboosters (to blast away the popcorns). The licorice left, one to get, was simple with 2 moves left. This is indeed an horrible level when you've no boosters...Good luck everyone who came to this level. Greet from Holland, Kees.

This has to be the most impossible level yet. I've been at it daily for about a week. The video didn't help as I never get any boosters like those chocolate balls during play. No idea how to get passed this level. Help.

Ok..I was about to give up BUT..remember that each popcorn counts as 2 so don't get hung up on wanting to grow all of them...you only need 4...and concentrate on the sides where the stripes appear...after I figured that out..I would make a move...and stop to look at the board..I tend to get frazzled when the spawners spawn but just take your time and use the stripes as much as possible...once I did that I completed it in 3 tries...hang in there!!?

Dang, seems like killing off the chocolate takes up all the moves, hard to make other moves to get popcorns. Nasty game. Wait for the lucky board again.

Only had to play this one once to see that it’s going to be a stinker. One game, two examples of the board not behaving as it should (in terms of which way the stripes firm and where). I don’t think l’ll be bothering tbh.
Crazy impossible level. Chocolate covers any special candies before any chance to use. Issue is too many popcorns to collect- impossible. Closest was 2 popcorns short and that was after about 20 attempts. Impossible levels like this are just boring

I struggled with the last level but 2 lives after posting I got it. I now this level is atrocious. The popcorns do not count as 2 as they did for Cookie. The chocolate is a beast. Need luck
