Hints and tips showing how to pass level 2982 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect 12 popcorns in 20 moves to complete level 2982, but there are only 8 on the board at the start of the level. The remaining 4 will be provided by the lucky candies that drop from the dispensers in the bottom left section of the board.
Wrapped candies are the answer to this level as the popcorns need hitting 4 times each to grow them into colourbombs, once to unlock and three to grow them.
Colourbomb/wrap combos are the way to complete level 2982, so look for wraps from the start and use them to grow the popcorns, then try to get the colourbomb/wrap combos to keep the popcorns growing.
Keep your eye on the bottom left as this section needs to be unlocked and you need to remove candies there to get the lucky candies dropping, then you can grow them along with all the rest with CB/wrap combos.
Switching 2 colourbombs together can be useful too as this combo will hit all the popcorns.

I don't see how this is possible. 12 popcorn, several of which are to be made from mystery candies which are very hard to match up in that small bottom corner. Ridiculous, especially in the time allotted. Ugh!
As cookie says, double colour bomb to start using space helmet and boosters and somehow another 3 of these combos fell.
I combined color bomb with a wrap and multiple CB appeared, I combined 2 CB when possible or with a wrap
My game gave me 36 moves, very easy with that amount. My android phone only gave 20 moves so you can guess which device I played on.
Wow! I got the lucky board on 1st attempt. Could this be a make-up game or mistake for the previous levels?
Also I noticed I have two entries for collect stars. Hum!

I failed the first attempt even with a double CB to start. Second try I used stripe/wrap combo and a checkmark booster. The checkmark was the key to getting the popcorn needed without having to get to the lower left corner. Glad this one's over.

I can't even get close on this one. I had the space dash but got up this morning and it was gone. I've tried everything. I can't believe there aren't more comments on this one. The lowest I got was 6.

Getting bored .... I’ve been stuck for 2 days now ...... 👎
No point using checkmark booster — it just clogs up the board with popcorn & cannot manoeuvre, making combos impossible.
Guess I’ll be stuck here a long time.
Don’t use check mark booster since it just makes moves harder. Having trouble even getting remotely close, even after several stripe/wrap combos with colorbombs.
18 moves is not enough. The levels are not fun anymore.
The 2900 series of this game are generally frustrating and extremely hard no matter if they are designated as such or not. All but the dedicated few will stay with this game so I don’t see the logic of making this gane so hard. Is it the intention of the designers to make it so hard that folks spend money for boosters which but the way rarely help ?

Yes, but bottom left gets clogged up with them too, even if you just need one you could have nine in there? Still, you are right, at least the bigger portion of the field is clear without the booster.
I finally got it by starting with CB/wrap, but needed all moves(20)
Even if I had any money I would not send it to Candy Crush!!!

This should be marked as a hard level. Been stuck on this for days now. Good luck getting two sprinkles together without exploding. 20 moves is not enough. Playing and wasting lives til i get the lucky board.
Sure it’s easy with 36 moves! With 20 moves, impossible, absolutely ridiculous!

Absolute nonsense. I’ve had a sprinkle and a wrap at least three times in the same game and it’s still not enough. Another time I got to the bit where if I’d bought a move it would have worked but I refuse to buy anything. I used to, until the company tilted the playing field, but I am so annoyed at fixed boards they can stick it.
And now they can stick the whole game. You can tell when you’re on a board that can’t really be done by game-playing and that it will just be when the algorithms decide. You carry on patiently thinking it will come eventually, but after you’ve been on it for ages, there is absolutely no fun in playing because the game itself is not fun to play while you’re waiting and there’s no sign of the “lucky board”, you might as well give up. So I will.
Joke of a level! Only serious luck to get cookie wrap combos 4-5 are needed at least from 8-10 moves once you’ve made some space bullshit!!

Ridiculous level. What's a space helmet or whatever its called? I can't find anything listed anywhere. It's impossible with no boosters and no way of earning them either. So over this.
What is the trick to this level. I can’t get it and it’s driving me nuts.
