Hints and tips showing how to pass level Candy Crush Saga by Cookie
Level 2985 is a super hard level and almost impossible without boosters. There are only 14 moves to collect the ingredients and you need most of these to clear the blockers unless you are very, very lucky!.
You need to clear the blockers in the top part of the board so that the ingredients can drop through the portals and onto the conveyor, at the same time as you are doing that you should clear the blockers along the bottom to open the exits.
The ingredients can only drop through the portals one at a time as there is only one portal on each side.
Stripe/wrap combos are good for clearing the blockers and getting the ingredients down the board, as are colourbomb combos.
I used a coconut wheel to complete this level. If you use a coconut wheel you may need to restart the level several times until the coconut wheel is in a position to clear the top blockers.

Coconut wheels are about the only thing to use if you want to pass this level, reset till they're in the middle to go up to the top and get rid of the blockers. Not enough moves otherwise unless you're very lucky to get wrap stripe or ball combos. Even then you still need lots of luck to get the ingredients in the right spot. Still trying!

I've got 17 moves to clear this nasty level. King must be feelin' the Christmas spirit, all right.
Candy Crush just isn't fun anymore. I sit and mindlessly play whatever moves are available and sooner or later will make it through but there is no strategy or thought process involved. I am very disappointed in the game quality.
I used up all my boosters and still couldn't get through. In the end I used 5 extra moves that I already had and bought another 5. I couldn't stand this level and I just had to get off it.
14 moves for this level is ridiculous. I'm stopping till they give us at least 20 moves.Even with boosters it's hardly doable and the good comboes come at the last move where they're useless.

You probably can't do it without the wheel. I also used a couple swaps so I could get a match and drop a fruit. I was close when I ran out of moves, so I used 10 of my gold bars and the five extra moves did it for me.

using coconut wheel only waste your booster cause they will place it on somewhere which is useless at all, and only come out once ! this game is just program to let you lose for your to spend $
We all can pass every level without problems if we spend money for moves and boosters. Some here are doing this. But I ask me where is the game, if I need money for playing it? I want fun and not frust in my free time. CC is on a bad way.

I played innumerable times before I decided enough was enough, so I bought extra moves and used a whole lot of switch hands just to get this awful one done.

At the end with 10 gold bars and a hand I could pass it. And a wheel to start. And a lot of luck with the board. With 14 moves it is so unfair and without booster impossible. I am loosing the fun

Played this level countless times, truly! Maybe they want us to sit here for a long time to give programmers time to create more levels. Maybe we need to bite it, and pay. I have no idea - I also have no boosters :(

I have probably used over 100 lives along with 20 coconut wheels and all my color bombs and I still haven't been within 5 moves of beating this level. 14 moves is ridiculous. I don't want to quit, but not sure what to do at this point. This level sums up the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Yes! I used a coconut wheel many times and only one comes out! This is so unfair, and I refuse to buy any boosters. Either keep playing till I get lucky or quit. This is an ridiculous level, 14 moves is a joke. 🤬

Okay time for the developers to take these comments to heart before we all delete the game. We didn't get to this level by being inept so obviously there is something wrong here. Please fix before I make my New Year's resolution to ditch this game once and for all.

Really a nasty level. Difficult and boring. Most of the times you spend all the moves just moving candies arround. Stripes are never on the right place. Even using the wheel and other boosters I'm not being able to pass it yet. I've been quite there, but then the additional movements wheel (when available) just give other boosters. King should change it with more movements or stripe spenders on the top. I'll keep trying but it's quite frustating. Posting for a looky board.

Just passed with 5 moves to spare, Christmas stocking, wheel booster, and one hand switch! I had over 30 wheels, now down to 16, so it took a lot of try's, plus lucky board, good luck all, didn't have to buy piggy bank yet.
Please please need a lucky board or give us more moves so frustrating..love candy crush but can't enjoy it when I get these type of boards

I already played this level in the last episode. I won a lucky board and skill first go. Started with a coconut wheel just to the top left of center and made a move next to it to make a stripe. Another wheel dropped and I made a move and used a hand switch to put them side by side. I switched them and then just had to do cleanup. I also used two hand switches to position the last two ingredients to fall when the blast hit. Happy New Year. Diane from San Diego

Posting for luck. Enjoyed the level at first until I figured out how hard it is to win with so few moves. Coconut wheels are not helping that much. Need a lucky board!!
Surprisingly passed this level in less than 10 attempts. I needed:
1) A coconut wheel to take out the blockers at the top on the first move
2) Hand switches to move the final ingredient down as I was out of moves otherwise
3) A whole lotta luck in between
I passed this level on the first try! Do the stocking dash and build up your boosters. Start with the two chocolate sprinkles balls and a coconut wheel. Reset until they are placed side by side, towards the left side. I needed to use one hand switch to move the coconut wheel to hit the last blockers on both upper right and left sides. After that just focused on getting the ingredients down. Started a cascade with the all the special candies created by combining the two chocolate sprinkle balls. Definitely a tricky level. Good luck! On to the next level.

Did it easily enough with no boosters and 4 moves left. Guess they must've changed something given all the wailing above...
finally passed this level after numerous attempts and purchasing extra moves now and again if I thought I was in with a chance. Now the level has changed to only 3 colours of candies so it looks like I either got my lucky board or King has changed it. Keep going folks, 3000 in in sight!

I just passed this second time after a few days break. Started with a coconut wheel and got lots more of them with endless cascades. The game almost played itself after the first few moves. Either a lucky board, or CC have tinkered with the level.
I just passed it without boosters after trying for 3 days. I had an incredible lucky board. In the first movements I could make a combo with 2 colourbombs and then it started a cascade of endless boosters playing quite by itself. I scored 1.041.000 points! In any case I had to use all the movements.
I passed this level this morning without booster and without looking. OK, I was looking but I have no idea why I passed - no boosters and a lucky board. I feel the CC peeps handed it to me. Maybe it is ok with them if we move on now....

Started with a double color bomb from the Christmas stocking. Had to reset to get them together. Then could keep the cascades going with few colors on the board.
Easy level. I got nervous seeing all the comments. I’m guessing the level was fixed to make it easy? It went from “very very hard” to “easy.” Whew!
I have no idea what just happened, passed on first try. Used nothing.. the board went crazy with exploding cascades, never had this happen before! For once a "glitch" was a good thing. Good luck!
Passed this level on 1st try. I can understand those who like the challenge of playing without boosters but dont like to see anyone in that club complaining on this blog because it was your choice to play this way. Kudos to you! But King has changed the original intent and now expects that you will play with boosters, either earned or bought. I started with space dash, without a coconut wheel and swiped a sprinkle with a wrap. There are only three colors so it set off major, long running cascades that blew up all the blockers. Lots of fireworks!!! It's definitely doable this way.spot exits before you start so you can move ingredients along. This game played itself and is fun. To each his own, though.

Been stuck on this one for awhile. Getting nowhere. Not one of those people who can afford to buy boosters so I guess I will have to just wait it out. Maybe I need some time away from this very frustrating game. Or maybe CC will have it in there heart to let me pass.
