Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3090 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3090 was a jelly level with a timer but it has now changed to a jelly only level.
Make matches next to the licorice to open up the middle column a little then look for stripes and wraps to unlock the locked licorice.
Keep an eye on the bombs and clear them whenever possible as they will soon count down and end the game.
You need to look for special candies and combos to clear the bombs and jelly so don't rush your moves, take time to check the board carefully before every move.
This is a much harder level now than it was as a timed level, as you are limited to the number of moves.
You will need some powerful combos to break all the locked licorice, colourbombs switched with another special candy are the best, especially with a wrap as this will break the licorice locks and clear a lot of jelly.
There are fishing floats in the bottom corners but these won't help much unless you get a lot of stripes hitting them from a combo.

Not a timed level!! I combined 2 CB and at the end had to use a hammer to get the last bomb
As per comments above, not a timed level for me. Has anything been officially said about reducing, or even removing TIMED LEVELS? Would be great if this was the case!!!!
This is Barb, I have finally caught up with you guys! I really appreciate the tips from Cookie and the regular contributors here. Just passed this level with space dash plus a fish booster.
Every time I use a powerball booster the game freezes. Anybody else have that problem? Only on my pc, not on the tablet.
Yay, love that it's not a timed level. Used the love letters again but pure luck in the end with one move left, orange either side and fingers crossed that if I cleared the middle of the orange jellies another orange would fall to clear them and it did!

So again, if you have space dash, and combine 2 CB, you MAY pass this level.
Does anyone else find it sad that after 3,000 levels, King still uses count down bombs?
I am very grateful for all the tips here. They are helpful and to the point. For those that are unhappy with this nobody wants to hear colicky gripes.

This is another of those ridiculously difficult levels that requires luck on where the candies end up after each move....I actually had 2 sprinkle bombs together once and still couldn't win....it's these levels that, pretty much, require boosters to get by, but if you don't have any? I understand the trick is to activate all the licorice, but most times, this is impossible....I just get frustrated playing a level over and over, hoping to play again some day....thanks for the past and hopefully the future?
Bombs are stupid and this level is boring and ridiculous. Yes, sad that their developers are so lame

I don't understand why I can't even get close to beating this level....it is getting too frustrating to want to try anymore...I really need help here as I don't know how much more I can take???!!!
I played a ton of games but never got close. Even when I had 3/4 of the Space Dash boosters.
Then I came to this site & saw where someone used color bombs side by side. So I played until I won a game & got a color bomb. I used the color bomb from the Space Dash & paired that with my own color bomb. I also used 1 of my 259 fish boosters.
I started with the color bombs side by side which broke up the licorice. Took out the bombs & rest of the jelly. The fish weren't helpful but I squeaked thru.
If you can spare your own color bomb, win a game to get a Space Dash color bomb & reset board (tablets only) until they’re side by side.
I can't believe this used to be a timed level. Ugh!

My frustration with King is escalating to the point i'm spending more and more time at other game sites. This level is boring as hell. I'm not wasting anymore cash on boosters as it's taking more and more of them with each level. Have found many games much more enjoyable to play than King's games. This level is total bull...
Can’t get close! Very frustrating. Serioutthinking sbiuf removing cc from phone. Anyone have trouble getting items you paid for. This happens very often.pisting for luck. If I don’t get this level in the next few tries I’m out!

I am sick of King limiting moves. What the hell are they trying to prove. This is impossible as there is no way to make special candies before the bombs explode. So sick of being on levels for more than two weeks. This is a good reason to quit this unfair game. Goodbye King games. All King games are rediculous.

I thought this episode was going well until I got to 3086. Had found it easy ish and fun. But.....the last 3 or 4 were tough! For 3090 I started with all three boosters, and reset at least 100 times until cb was next to wrap. Still needed a hammer!
One candy left. Activated fish. Didnt even swim close to that spot. Whats the purpose of having fish bonus if they dont even help.. its all luck!! When CC feels you have spent enough time or money they let you move on!
