Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3801 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect yellow and red candies to complete level 3801 Candy Crush Saga.
The first thing you must do is to clear one of the cakes in the first few moves before the chocolate gets too thick to clear. You can also use stripe/wrap combos to help keep the chocolate from growing too fast.
Once the chocolate is cleared the lucky candies can begin to drop through from the top row, but they can only drop through the middle three columns, so you need to keep these three spaces in the top row open. You can either use colourbombs to hit the lucky candies beside the chocolate, or clear the second cake.
There is no need to clear both cakes, but it is easier to collect the colours if you can manage to do that.
Once the lucky candies are on the board keep looking for chances to make combos, this will clear the orders faster and also help to keep the chocolate under control.

Not quite here yet.but want to ask the weds club do you buy boosters or just use the ones won along the way?
I am retired so have the time to spend between Wednesdays to play "sugar drop" at least once a day. It takes about an hour to reach the 180 score. The only money I have spent in recent years has been on gold bars as these days I sometimes need an extra few moves to finish and they are quickly used up. It seems a small price to pay for the fun Candy Crush provides. Helen

I started with 2 cb next to each other and passed without clearing either cake.
As noted above, started with CB combo, did not clear either cake, finished with 16 moves to spare.

You are so right! Some don't understand the concept that top programmers, Help Desk, advertisers, etc., won't work just so we can enjoy playing Candy Crush - they expect a payday. These same people "who never pay" ignore the fact that we pay so everyone can play - even the freeloaders.

I was stuck for months way in the beginning, eventually you will win; I have never paid and won’t pay. I’m not freeloading, I’m playing for fun and the challenge. If it ended today, so be it, I could probably get more stuff done, but thanks for keeping it going with your purchases.
Victoria, I agree with Anonymous. I have never nor will I ever pay anything for CC. Boosters can be acquired by collecting sugar drops twice a day, the space dash, the daily gift, and the free spin daily. I also am not a freeloader. I enjoy the challenge, and if I run out of boosters, so be it. And as Anonymous said above, thanks for keeping the game going with your purchases!
I’ve never spent money to play candy crush and I’ve made it this far. The sponsors for all the advertising keep it going. I don’t ever plan to spend a penny. Eventually you get through a level. Good luck everyone. Jerseygirl

I don't feel in the least guilty for playing without purchasing boosters. It's King's game. If they want to require everyone to pay, there is a straightforward and honest way to do so. Pay for access to the game--one time or even a subscription. But they won't do that, for two reasons: One, they have to hook you before they can get to pay, so paying up front loses players and potential payers. Two, in-game purchases can lead to big money, a couple of dollars at a time. And King created its own problem: the players didn't create the games, the players didn't come up with ways to win free boosters, and the players didn't program games that are impossible to win without boosters. At the same time, while I miss the space dash, I don't blame them for eliminating it. Again, it's their game.

This is impossible. Clear a cake and it only takes out a few chocolate which fill up again a couple of moves later. Same starting with 2 cbs together.

Very hard. I've cleared the cakes a few times and have lots of moves left and still have like 20 yellows and 20 reds to get and the game is over. If you clear fast seems like you get nothing then to clear the chocolate, but if you do get a space or two up there, you can't get anything good

This level is boring and irritating. Clearing one or both cakes DOES NOT automatically clear the chocolate to allow the candies to fall. It is frustrating and I have used a lot of boosters trying to pass this level. There are other games and I will not be surprised and neither should King when players stop playing CC.

I don't have any ads and I have no problem spending a few dollars now and then for the enjoyment of playing. To me, it's like any other entertainment and I get more enjoyment from CC than most movies.

So tired of stupid, no-skill levels. I mean seriously. If you don't have a lucky board you just go through the motions until it decides to pass you. Really ticks me off that they put in "stops" to stop you from winning. Many times when it shuffles, it will finish and then instantly change. You know that means you had good moves there that it didn't wanna give you. So stupid. Posting for luck.
Been on this level the longest of any level. Boosters don't seem to work because you really have only 3 moves after you clear the chocolate to do anything before it all moves back in. It's so frustrating!

As soon as a vertical stripe hits one of the middle three columns the licorice falls right back in. How are we supposed to pass the licorice?

Day two. Come on cc the chocolate fills in too quick and stripes don't go where you want them. Ease up on these crazy levels.

Ridiculous impossible level!
This is where I say goodbye. Double cb on one try and I still couldn’t win. Seems like you need to make a buy with most of the games in the higher levels and that isn’t right. Used all my boosters and refuse to make any more
I like this level, difficulty but fair and funny :)
This is by far the most ridiculous level until now.
Waffles are filling up the board preventing you from making combos.
When you finally made some combos and have them aligned, they explode magically for no reason, rendering them useless.
The locorice is popping up in no time, making it impossible to keep the 3 middle columns open for the eggs to drop.
Chocolate in the top row is growing so fast, there is literally no time to drop enough eggs to reach the goal.
Hard needed vertical stripes (to keep chocolate from growing) are almost impossible to make, especially after you cleared the 2 bottom cakes.
The space dash doesn't seem to be working anymore either.
I will keep playing no booster games (they are useless in this level anyway), but horrible level after horrible level will finally make me quit the game.
Totally fed up with this level. Have played dozens of times, used many boosters and gold bars but have come nowhere near to passing this level. If I clear the cakes early it is then impossible to get the vertical stripes necessary to clear the top level and get the check mark candies. Without those you can’t get the red and yellow candies. Hopeless, rubbish level.
I’ve played CC to get to this level and can’t see any way to beat this. Levels have been tough and I finally beat them but this is totally ridiculous. I guess my Candy days are over!
