Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3898 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3898 Candy Crush Saga is a dual task level, you have to collect wrapped candies and clear the jelly to complete the level.
It may seem a lot of wrapped candies in the moves available, but getting the wraps isn't too much of a problem if you can clear the blockers down the right side of the board fairly quickly. Loads of wrapped candies drop from the dispenser on the left besides the ones you will get from the lucky candies on the right.
Look for stripes and stripe/wrap candies to clear the waffles and blockers on the right, these will also detonate the wraps which will continue to clear the right side of the board.
Forget about the key at the bottom, it will be cleared by the wraps as they work their way down the column. The key unlocks a wrap dispenser in the middle of the board which will help to keep the other wraps exploding.
Don't forget to clear the jelly top left when you get a chance as it can be tricky to clear at the end, a stripe/wrap combo beside the left column will usually do the trick.
Don't try to make the wraps yourself, you won't have enough moves to do it so you need to concentrate on getting the right side cleared so that they can drop down.
Once the blocker at the bottom of the right column is cleared the wraps will start to drop into the jelly at the bottom. Wait until the column is full and also the square bottom right if it still has jelly in it, then use a colourbomb to detonate the wraps and hope you get enough to complete the orders.
A colourbomb/wrap combo will give you a few extra wraps and may set off any others that are on the board to complete the orders.

This was a hard one for me because there were so many wraps needed. Then I realized that if you can get two wraps together in the top right just put them together and the wraps cascade all the way down. The key is important as once you get the key there is more room on the board to form wraps. Also Colour balls are handy if you can put them to a wrap as multiple wraps are formed. With a good board the wraps eventually travel to the bottom and take care of the jelly. By then I had enough wraps for my score as well. btw as I said before, What happened to the music?? I is not on any of my devices. I checked the star button and music button and yes the music is turned on. But no music plays :-( Its a tune I especially like; this tune its simple , relaxing but not boring. Any body have a clue what happened? I am aware many people turn the music off but I love the music.

I have always played in silence. My sister loves the music. Since there’s capability to turn it off, why would they discontinue it?
It's only on certain levels like this one (dual levels) that the music is gone. The next level (or previous or another) the music plays fine. (this happens on all my devices)
At first it seemed easy, then the lucky candies didn’t drop often enough and the wrapped at the bottom were isolated, so I used a couple of hammers, solved the problem. Not a nice level.

Need some luck on this one. Not even getting close.
Had full spooky hat, started with CB/CB, finished 8 moves to spare. After several tries let the bottom fill completely with wrap then set off with CB

This is a never ending nightmare. There is no way to pass this and King knows it. King is just evil now.

After playing this for over a week I succeeded in getting it out by using far too many hammers and hands only to have the game freeze. I then reread Cookie's instructions and realised I needed to hit the key on my first move to open up another source of wraps and not ignore it as she suggested. Success at last. Yippee. Indy

The level itself is a nice idea and I like that this like many previous levels is a level where you have to think and play strategically and then you will (eventually) win. But one thing I see it defferently from Cookie as I have 6 moves less like on the video and this reduction is brutal. I managed several times to get rid off the jelly, but never was able to create enough wraps, best was 6 wraps left (and all on the screen but too late and no extra move)
Ignore the liquorice!!!! It will ALWAYS come back. You must come from the bottom, remove the key and the blocker in the right corner, then it works
Exactly! Collect the key and remove the blocker in the RIGHT bottom corner is VERY important !!
Finally gave up my plan with no boosters, played 3711 several times and started with double CB and 32 moves. Still had problems with the left top jelly and to open the column on the right side, but made it with the last move. Important is to open this column, focus only on this!

After being on his level for 5 days and reading through these comments a few times I finally passed it. Used a couple of hammers, one for the key and the other for the right bottom blocker. Then once the bottom filled with wrapped candies made a colour bomb and used it to blow up the wrapped candies.

This one is stupid first of all no were near enough moves second need to many warped . I haven't got any hammers left . So it is impossible to knock out that key at the bottom until heaps of moves are gone. Come on CC give us a break.

I'm really struggling with this one. Without a stripe to hit the bottom right blocker it is almost impossible to remove it.
I finally did get rid of it and some wraps fell into the bottom row but I was unable to make a CB to detonate any of them (hopefully to clear the row).
The field of licorice makes us dependent on CB to be able to clear the bottom row.

Sage here: I almost gave up playing 3891 was horrible but then the score was lowered and I was able to move on perhaps it was luck.
Again, got it first time, thanks to the tips given here (getting rid of the bottom right blocker asap was very important). I also had a full space dash, added an extra chocolate sprinkle and a wrapped candy, and reset the board till I started with two sprinkles side by side. Thank you.
All levels from 3890 have been very very hard...I think King doesn't want us to reach the 3900 level :(

Got it next game. Used full space dash, reset until the colour bombs where together, that took care of key and got things rolling. With 5 moves left I used a hand switch to move a wrapped and a colour bomb together and that was that! 🎉🎉

This is one of the most ridiculous stupid levels. Mind numbing moves, so rigged!
Used boosters, hammers,bombs tried it all good thing they were freebies. Now no way to get gold bars, next they'll take away the ability to get a life from a friend and it won't matter because they've all quit this insanity!!!!
