Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3997 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
You have to collect two cherries to complete level 3997 Candy Crush Saga.
The first job is to clear the chocolate at the top of the board as it is stopping the keys from dropping and you need to collect the keys to unlock the cherries and the exit at the bottom of the board.
Collect the keys then you need to drop the cherry down the middle section of the board and down to the exit.
You only get one cherry at a time so the sooner you get the first one collected the sooner you will get the second one dropping.
Be careful when making moves near the bottom of the board once all the keys are collected, you don't want to get a waffle in the bottom square blocking the exit, if this happens you will struggle to clear it in time to get the cherries through the exit.
The following video starts the level with 28 moves but it is completed in 16 moves so shows the strategy needed to complete the level.

Level 4009. Beware not to use cb combo and let ingredient drop inbetween the exits!after which the ingredient can go no where!
Hmmm....try again without ANY boosters even ingredients dropped inbetween the white drop through...was able to use stripe/wrap to let ingredient drop down to bottom row exits

Have to go level 606 3x to boost up space bot fully. And yes, manage to get initial cb combo on the 3rd try. Also lucky to clear bottom licorice quickly and focus on clearing top portion jelly (._.) SG
Need to continue form cb and match with candy same color as the bomb.

Hurray to all those who comment on levels beyond this level. Your comments and bravado doesn't help us who are stuck at the current level.
Why don't you give us hints on this level or wait until Ms. Cookie has posted the video on your advanced level and comment there

Just did it. With full sd. Got the keys by using a stripe wrap in the rhs. But kept cb for when I couldn't get a key on each move. Cherry dropped to the middle between conveyors. Then waited til had a stripe lined up in the centre got that cherry out. At the end used handswitch and hammer to get the waffle out of the exit. Hope this helps someone

Used CB CB to start.
The bombs looked scary but don't worry about them
Don't waste time clearing the first cherry, I used a hammer to get it quickly in order to have more time to get the second one.

Ugh! Too many obstacles with too few moves. Chocolate blocks keys...at lear 2..the 5 keys...the a stipe or combo at bottom to get the 1st cherry out....You need no less than 6 moves once the 2nd cherry drops. I'd say you need a lucky board with tons of CBs and combos. I'm really tired of this game. I'm almost to 4000 and happily weaning off. Levels in 3800 and especially 3900 have been over the top bullshit...rigged and pure luck. This sucks.

This level is a pain. Completely unpassable. Sick of these stupid levels.
Level sucks!! Impossible!!! I can remember when c.c was fun chilling based on skill, not the tedious ,dull ,money makng,impossible, waiting for that lucky board, its now become
Moves reduced making it impossible without that lucky board. I used to love it when some skill and strategy was necessary to pass which made it fun. All the fun has gone now but I’ve yet to find another game that matches CC in wanting to play all the time and needs skill or strategy to complete.
King must have made a fortune by now so why make all these levels so un-doable and frustrating. Please King get the game back to how it used to be and get rid of the idiots that think up these impossible levels. And please stop altering the levels i.e. less. moves, harder etc it’s not fair to those of us that are not in the elite bracket that are able to play the levels when they first come out and in their original format.

Need alot more moves.
I had full space dash and still had to use a few boosters in game (switch hands, hammers). Previous comments about too much chocolate blocking the keys, not enough moves, and the waffles dropping in the way are spot on. I like a challenge, but these last 200 levels or so have been primarily nearly impossible without full space dash and/or added boosters. I am still playing, but increasingly frustrated, trying to catch up to the leaders. When I am between frustrating rounds of CC, I've been spending increasing amounts of time on the Toy Blast and Toon Blast games from Peak Games. Those are challenging, but seem to be more fair and less frustrating. Happy Crushing, everyone!

Never complained about how impossible the levels are and always knew that a lucky board would come....but this level is impossible even with boosters. I have managed to get the cherries down to the bottom but there is no getting rid of the waffles. I don't mind a challenge but this level isn't even fun to play. I'm posting for a lucky board.

I used a CB Wrap combo to start and took out most of the chocolate and a few keys right off the bat. Then struggled to get rest of keys and cherries. Switched first cherry and waffle blocker to get it to drop. Then used saved up gold bars for five extra moves at which time I used a hammer on last waffle on last move and done. Ugh. That was brutal. Carry on Crushers! BTW... Still haven't spent a dime.

Five days, 150+ lives and too many boosters to count and then there is candy crush! There are not enough lives to pass this level without using booster. Which is a big trick when you have no boosters, no space dash etc. Not sure how to help. Good luck everybody!!

This is more than a nightmarishly hard level it is impossible without a lucky board if I don't get one in a few moves I guess it's time to leave saga for good

Took me several tries. I worked on one side of the board only so I only had to get keys on one side as well as control bombs.
Seems as though the only way I can move forward is to post for luck. Has nothing to do with how smart you are. Can't wait till 4000,then I can finally stop this ridiculous game. It used to be challenging and fun but now all the levels are rigged to where you can't win until cc decides to let you pass! Waste of time!!

Just letting you know that this level is completely different..it is now 2021 so is to be expected. Slowly slogging my way thru, using boosters as necessary. But I like to read about the strategy you use, helps a lot. Have to admit King has made $$$ from me on having to buy boosters.
