Hints and tips showing how to pass level 3998 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 3998 is a dual task level, you have to collect the ingredients and clear all the jelly to complete the level and you only have 16 moves to do it.
You need a good start, clearing as many blockers as possible down the right side of the board so that the candies can drop into the left side.
Don't worry too much about the ingredients, they will drop out as you clear the jelly, you just need to make sure the final one is collected.
Colourbombs are fairly easy to make and if you can get two together you will be halfway to clearing the level, failing that a colourbomb/wrap or colourbomb/stripe will help a lot.
The video below starts with 28 moves but is completed in 17 which is just one more than there are at the time of writing.
Starting the level with a colourbomb booster and a stripe and wrap booster should guarantee you pass.

This level is impossible!
Space dash and started with double CB. Then needed 5 extra moves. It took me about 10 tries to get it.

Again another impossible level
This is ridiculous. I used the chocolate bomb, striped/wrapped and fish to start then a flying saucer and a pinata. And had eight moves left over. You can't do it without a bunch of boosters. I played on the PC, which I never do anymore since they took away the robot so I figure I might as well use up the boosters I have on the PC. I had a few pinatas from back when you could play 2,000 over and over and stock up.
The solution os wait for the random gifts and the explosion of the pinata.

WELL I might be able to do it if I had 26 moves also, But its down to 16 Impossible to do!!

It’s really irritating how levels these days are either so flippen easy, or practically impossible without spending a ton of money. No in between. Can we just have a decent level that requires a little bit of luck and a lot of strategy?

EUREKA!!! I finally passed it, after days and days if trying everything I could think of. Here's my winning strategy.
With full SD, I restarted until I had side by side color balls PLUS a wrap at top left, just beside the first top licorice. It took many restarts, but it was worth it. I still needed two hammers to finish the game for good.
Level 3999 is not bad, make sure you start with side by side color balls and a check mark.

I’ve used several boosters together to start and it hasn’t helped me at all!
This level is bs. Can’t be done. I’m sick of playing. I hate this game. Why can’t I quit?! I’m as close as I’ve ever been to quitting and this is the level that may do the trick. I’ve just had it and this is stupid already!
Not wasting much more time on this dreadful level. It’s the Xmas season and I don’t have the gusto to play impossible levels

Wow! So many comments up to mid-December, then nothing, then a trickle. I started w/full stocking dash, cleared all the licorice after a few moves. Was down to last ingredient and 14 jellies with about 6 moves to go. Didn’t make it. Shoulda reset for CB-CB. Damn it. Well, off to try 1000 more times. Have a good one, crushinators!

Very difficult level with no boosters, nearly impossible. I played it twice with full space dash, got nowhere near finished. Loaded up space dash a third time, then added the extra CB, S/W, and fish boosters. I was fortunate to start with a CB-CB combo, which removed all licorice and brought the first ingredient almost all the way down, then hacked away at what was left, finishing with 10 moves to spare. I guess I'm done. 3997 is just a lucky board game and it has used up everything I had. If it was a fun board,it would be worth playing. But in my opinion, it's not any fun at all. I have got to the last waffle in the bottom slot many many times. With no way to hit it. I will miss the game.

Free spins these days equal nothing because they don't give you the boosters you collected. Extra moves down to 3, no more 15. Collecting scrolls now give you the opportunity to buy....WOW...This game is getting more and more rigged for you to spend money every day. Come on king ease up some!

These last 2 rounds have been impossible without help (and i had an hour of free boosters which got me thru last but didn't help on this one). Eventually, gold bars for 17 estra moves n still needed a hammer for last nut.
