Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4018 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4018 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
You have to score 100,000 points in 16 moves to complete the level and there are no bombs on the board to help give you a good score so it will be down to hard work.
The first thing you need to do is clear the blockers at the top of the board on the right, this will allow the stripes and wraps to drop through from the dispensers on the left. You need to do this quickly though because the chocolate will cover them and block the dispensers if you take too many moves.
You can use these stripes and wraps to keep the chocolate under control, but at the same time you need to look for chances to make colourbombs as these are the only way you will get the score you need. Because ther are no bombs you will have to switch the colourbombs with whatever is close and often switching a colourbomb with a wrap will give quite good scores, depending how many candies you have of the right colour on the board.
The video below by Johnny Crush starts with 23 moves but the score of 100,000 is reached within the 16 moves available now so gives you a good idea of how to pass it.

I have wasted so many boosters on this insane level.
My game has gone into a loop. One one wrap went off and then other one came down then it went off. It's going into the loop. Can't stop it. May be will have to exit. But will lose the level.

This level is impossible!! You can't clear the blockers before special candies are covered in chocolate!!! I played previous levels over and over for free boosters!! No matter how I arranged boosters, I don't come close!! I work at making special candies, but EVERYTIME I try to strategically play them they self detonate!!! Every color bomb detonates right away!! One thing I am having a real problem with is the striped candies go thru the candy cane wall to break up the licorice, but when there's no licorice, the striped candies can't penetrate the candy cane wall to hit the chocolate!! This level is impossible! I can't keep buying boosters!!
Once the chocolate covers the special candies the game is over!!! I can't clear the chocolate at all with stripes or wraps!!! Does this happen to anyone else??!! Maybe it's time to call it quits!! I can't buy all the boosters required to pass this level!!!

Is it just me or is CC no longer any fun, just tedium. I will quit as soon as I run out of boosters.
So, I play past levels over and over for free boosters!! TEDIOUS!! I start with color bomb combinations!! Open portals right away!! keep the candies cascading, try to keep chocolate under control!! First time I scored 20,000 of the 100,000 needed. I get 15 EXTRA MOVES!!! And still can't pass!!! All that and I made it to 80,000!!! It's all about getting more money from longtime players!!!
And now the wrapped candy on the top left is going nonstop!! Each one explodes detonating the next! Alternating!! It won't stop!! I can't make a move!!! So now I finally pass 100,000 and I will have to end the game & take it as a loss!!! Thanks king!!!
I wish I could post the screenshot I took, showing my score of 511,020!! And that I DID NOT PASS THIS LEVEL!!! EVEN THOUGH I SCORED OVER 500,00!!! Which is 400,000 more points than needed to pass!! This is beyond ridiculous!!
Today I cleared the portals right away. Then once I got to 30,000 the special candies stopped dropping!! The spaces stayed blank!!! No chocolate, no licorice, no special candies!!! So until you fix this level, I AM DONE!!!
I had the same problem!!! I had to exit!!! First time at a million points!! Second time was over a half million!! I reported to king, and now after a couple moves NO CANDY is dropping out of the portals!!! If I could post pics!!!
There are a few flaws with this level!!! I messaged King to let them know I had wrapped candies going crazy!!! After racking up over 500,000-1,000,000 it wouldn't stop!! I had to exit!!! So now I only get a couple special candies dropping down, the nothing after that!!! So I can't get more than 30,000 points!! Used up my boosters,all my gold bricks for extra moves, yes I know about the free spin for extra moves, which it rarely lands on!! But 5 extra moves won't make up the 70,000-80,000 points needed!! Coincidentally there's a special on buying piggy filled with gold bars for extra moves!!! This level is ridiculous, with the flaws it's impossible!!! Unless you want to spend more money!!! Just keep buying extra moves over and over!!!

Playing this level is a complete waste of time. Boring to play the same level over and over again without even coming close to passing the level. This is a joke. And now, don't even have the option to fill the helmet with boosters. This game is awful.

Got it! After 2 days with full build a bot, able to start with CB CB combo, keeping the top right open is the key, perhaps the " elusive" lucky board as well, very happy to be moving on 😀

I am very unhappy that King keeps telling me 'you've failed' after I have played countless impossible boards. I refuse to pay for boosters & extra moves in the face of such unfairness. I'd rather stop playing.. I'm happy to pay for fun & entertainment but 4018 is neither. Annie
Why did you not pass the level?
You know it’s always cracked me up how every now and again when you first open the app to play and you get a random message such as “relax. Play candy.” Or “defuse a cake bomb for a divine explosion”...well in this case I’m referring specifically to “the bubblegum troll will halt the chocolate spawners for 5 moves”...HAS ANYONE EVER WITNESSED EVER A CHOCOLATE SPAWNER BEING HALTED FOR 5 MOVES??!? This level is a prime example that DOES NOT HAPPEN FACTUALLY! The bottom striped candies start getting covered in chocolate the first move if not executed! The first frickin move!

Ok. This is crap. This type of puzzle is really the pits. Under scored on moves so that you can’t get to the 100000. Best I got was 82500. If king wants these types of puzzles at least make them achievable. If not than don’t make them. This game is designed to advance. This puzzle doesn’t qualify for that. Definitely time to quit. Thanks for nothing.

Are wraps meant to fall every turn when you clear the outside columns, which is quite easy to do usually, because they don't. So frustrating. So with the full Bot and an extra sprinkle and a coconut wheel (from the beanstalk thingy) I got to 92,000. Spun the wheel and miraculously got 15 extra moves. Still only got 1 star but relieved to move on from this flawed level. Nanny Annie

Crazy crazy game. Only made it when a free spin gave me an extra 15 FIFTEEN lives. This is getting beyond stupid

King is becoming more disgusting level by level...i am tired of playing level 3711 over and over...playing for sd 2x a day, winning challenges just to MAYBE ADVANCE ONE LEVEL!!IF not i have to go back and do 3711 again....So ----ing aggravating that i spend more time on 3711 rather than playing the actual game....i spent $15.00 in the past week...I will stay stuck at this point...Ridiculous I dont blame one person who abandons KING.....BECAUSE KING DEFINETLY ABANDONED US!!

Another crap level that requires the Lucky Board. Don't waste your boosters on the start. I used gold bars and the wheel spin for extra moves. Nothing works. You just have to wait for the Lucky Board.

You really shouldn’t be paying for this game just because you’re not moving along fast enough. I wouldn’t know how to spend money on this level. Keep buying more moves? When I get stuck on garbage levels like this, I concentrate on getting the 180 sugar drops to earn boosters. I’ve been on this stupid level for a week, but I have earned lots of boosters. Good Luck!
You must work on making color bombs. Finally passed by using the full space dash and hand switches to make color bombs. By the way, the next level is marked ‘super hard’. UGH!
I am using full Sd, start with cb+cb. Firing off special candies whenever I get them. But still stuck! I am so tired of going back to get Sd. Please Cookie. Help!

After many countless tries using space Dash I finally just started using my boosters. I started with a color bomb and try to match it with one of the special candies to the far left. The trick of this is to keep the licorice clear on the left hand side, as well as keeping the top left and top right columns clear so that the special candies can drop through. If you can hit the licorice on the left using a side-ways striped candy do it. If you don't keep the licorice out of the columns the special candy will never drop down. This was a very difficult level I did not get three stars but onto the next one to fight again.

Wow...ridiculous..I just played where I started with a CB, had 6 more CBs, plenty of stripes and wraps, then spun the wheel, which won me 5 more moves, and still only got 97,000pts...which means I lost....like I said...Wow, ridiculous!

Bottom line: This level cannot be won under normal circumstances....you need a cascade of CBs, wraps, stripes, etc...which, for the most part, are not under your control....I have no boosters and cannot see how boosters can help anyway....you can't control the points allocated....so, there has to be an increase in moves, points given, or just throw this level out....I have tried everything and cannot get close anymore....my patience has run thin....maybe time to call it....time of death, Crush....????
There is no way to pass this without getting a lucky board. I had even gotten a party piñata in the middle of a game and it did nothing for me. I have played this for 4 days on 4 different electronics . Personal computer, iPad, iPhone and Samsung tablet.
It's obvious why this game's appeal has dropped off as exponentially as it's popularity arose. Adieu, adios, see you later, good riddance King.

I must be the luckiest person in this or any other universe. With 5 moves to go, and nowhere near the total, I was thrown a random piñata and passed with 105,000. Pure luck.

Here we go again. Just waiting for King to let me pass this one. Boosters are useless. So boring.
My conclusion: They don’t want us to pass. They want us to give up so they can end Candy Crush Saga and get us on to the new CC or one of their other games. If I don’t get past this shortly, I will never play another game developed by King. I bet they will loose plenty of players as was said in an earlier comment.

I'm sure it's luck as well, but passed this with no boosters. The trick may be to not set off sprinkles, wraps and stripes, just wait till the game ends, and it sets them all off.
It's definitely luck. The best I managed with the full stocking was 80,000. Without it I was getting just over 50,000 if I was lucky. It depends on getting good cascades. I eventually passed without any boosters and scored 160,00.
