Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4046 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4046 Candy Crush Saga is a jelly level with Evil Spawners at the bottom of the board.
There is no need to clear the spawners as there is no jelly under them, but you will need to hit them as many times as possible with combos as you can while you are clearing the jelly. This will keep the chocolate that they spawn under control. The chocolate will very quickly take over the whole board if you don't keep it under control.
There are only 4 colours on the board so it is fairly easy to make special candies and combos and this is what you need to look for.
Some of the spawners will probably be destroyed as you play and this is helpful as it slows down the spread of the chocolate, but don't worry if it seems to be taking over as it is very easy to clear if you can manage to make a couple of wraps or a stripe/wrap combo.

The example here shows 30 moves and that was reduced to just 20 moves. You have no chance as the chocolate consumes the entire board long before you can make any progress. As this stands now you have no chance unless you use dozens of boosters and gold bars. Another impossible level to complete. Kings greed knows no bounds.
Added fish to full SD and combined CB with wrap on 1st move which hit spawners and kept chocolate away and finished with 18 moves left.

Another incredibly difficult level the chocolate over takes the board so quickly and with only 20 moves.... ugh. The least that you can do it is marked LOL appropriately it’s not even marked a hard level ....

King has had some FU boards in the past.
This is in the top 5 for sure.
To hard to make special candies because of the layout. And you are lucky enough to make special candies they get covered up before you can use them.
Only 20 moves and the rate of the spawners is BS.
Hint: Don't get nervous when the chocolate SEEMS to take over. It breaks very easy if you hit it with a combo or wrap. My board was 2/3 covered by chocolate and I had only 7 moves left, then I had accidentically 2 CB in the top. Used a switch to be able to combine them, so the board was open again. Now combos were possible. 4 moves later (and the board again 1/2 covered with chocolate!) I got (luckily) a CB next to a wrap. This was the solution of the level. Ps: While I played this level before, I sometimes used a fish, but found fish not this helpful as in the end no fish comes when you need them with 2-4 jellies left.

Obviously you need to get some sort of a start at the top centre on this level. Easier said than done. After that the key is clearly CB/Wrap. Took me 20-25 goes. No SD or boosters or anything. Was lucky to have the colour I needed in good positions but I still think any reasonable CB/Wrap combo will put you in a good position to complete the level.

Had a super last week, 49 levels in 1 week, but now stuck on this horrible level. Chocolate all over the board. One try only 2 left, but no boosters left. Have to be patient. Fons

Not enough moves. When I make a Colourbombs the chocolate covers it. Now CC has taken away the chance of going back to get the bot, the only booster I get is from the wheel. Time to wave goodbyes to CC I’d like to say it was nice knowing you but just lately it’s not

These changes of the game annoys me, the movements are not the same for the players, it is impossible for you not to pass anger with this dishonest game. Where with 20 moves can the player pass in this level without booster?

Every level is ridiculous now! Break up the pattern with a doable, yet strategic level, sometimes. It’s not fun to only have to use insane amount of boosters or wait for the lucky board that plays itself!

I usually play on my phone but I won't get it back for a week. In the meantime I am playing on my laptop. I do not know how anyone playing on a laptop has gotten this far. There is a big difference. I can't get anywhere this week. On the phone I never had SD or reset, etc. but it was easier than this. The chocolate eats every special candy as fast as I make it. If anyone is listening out there, I need help getting over this level. Would be fun without FIVE spawners. Way too many. KS
Another impossible level from King. How can we clear it when you have such few moves. This is so unfair. Fed up of playing levels like this. Plz help! I love this game but you have taken away all the thrill with ridiculous levels like these.
Impossible without boosters. Now they took away Space Dash and Build a Bot they know you need boosters. No more stradgity or fun left. They want the money for boosters. Never paid, never will. I'll try a few more days...and I'm done. But thanks for all the goods tips on this blog, it was fun while it lasted.

Five spawners throw out 4-5 chocolates each. As soon as you make a CB the chocolate covers it. I've stuck it out through over 4000 levels and gotten discouraged but nothing as awful as this. Sorry, Cookie, it is NOT easy to make combos. I think I'm finally done.
Agree with Kathy, not easy to make combos, 3-4 moves and I'm swamped with chocolate. Very nasty level with only 20 moves and 39 jelly, some doubles. Posting for luck!

This level is just crazy ! Unless you get some special candies before you’re down to your last move, I say impossible!! I can’t come close with those chocolate spawning every other move. Definitely need a very lucky board !!!

Suddenly today this level turned from 20 moves (impossible for me) to 35. I could not believe it and finished immediately. This happened on my pc. Hope you are as fortunate as I was.

Absolutely impossible..not enough moves with chocolate takeover and blockers. Levels get nastier and nastier..Boosters and specials don't help, chocolate manages to find them and boom gone in an overload of chocolate. King is ugly and nasty. Not to mention sick and twisted.

That's it for me. I play this for enjoyment after working hard all day. Even spending the money needed to buy the boosters to proceed was worth it for a while. No longer fun. Every time I watch the video, I realize they've lowered the moves or added chocolate, or something to make it impossible without buying more lives or boosters. The frustration of this particular level was the last straw. Done.

This is an absolutely horrible level and will likely be the reason why I stop playing Candy Crush. You get a special candy and it’s gobbled up by chocolate. Bye bye candy crush, it’s been real. This just plain sucks. I’ve made it to 4000 plus levels, that’s a win in my book.
