Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4049 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4049 Candy Crush Saga is a dual task level, you have to collect one ingredient and clear all the jelly to complete the level.
This level is possible without boosters but it needs a lot of luck to do it.
If you can get a double colourbomb combo early in the game you have a very good chance of passing it easily as this will unlock all the licorice locks and clear the marmalade.
You can forget about the ingredient most of the time as it will find it's way to the exit as you clear the jelly, especially if you have managed to make the colourbomb combo. Just make sure it is collected as you start to get near the end of your moves.
It doesn't really matter whether you work in the top or the bottom parts of the board as they are not connected so have to be treated separately, the only way to affect both halves of the board is to use combos. The chocolate, however, needs clearing so it doesn't take over too much, but combos will do this.
Other colourbomb combos are much less effective than two switched together as the licorice will block most of them, but you will have to keep trying and colourbomb/wrap combos can be useful.

Fed up with having to do easy levels to get 2 colour bombs together. It's the same for practically every game. Also, I have 17 coconut wheels and 1 colour bomb. The sugar drop rewards are rubbish now

Well this is really stupid - Icing, Chocolate, Marmalade & LOCKED liquorice all to be eliminated along with the jelly and all in 20 moves !! _ I DON'T THINK SO !!
How many of you lovely people have started with a board like Johnny Crush's and even he can't do it in 20 moves ?!
How do I get a board with 35 moves? I have 15 less. I can’t even get rid of the blockers in the top section, an rarely are there possible moves in the bottom. Why are the boards changed so drastically from the originals?

Starting level with boosters as it seems to be the only way of getting the board opened up but still no luck ...posting for luck & a few more moves
Haven't seen a glimmer of a possibility of getting 2 CB together. If I play lower level to get 2CB, 2 St/Wr & 3 Xtra moves It's still nowhere in sight as the CB end up miles apart on the board.
Not a great Christmas present being stuck here for so long.

I'd refute that this level is possible in 25 moves without boosters! The locked licourice in the top section is almost impossible to unlock.
It's becoming increasingly tedious having to constantly scroll back to repeat levels to get the full boosters then not having a chance of passing the level till King grant the elusive lucky board.
I didn't like this level at all! Got it after several hours play, but only because I managed to get the extra spin wheel that sometimes comes up on my 'phone app ( although not on my PC). The wheel gave me 15 extra moves. I used a couple of my hand switch boosters as well to complete it. Horrible level!

This is getting very boring...useposting again for luckd up all my boosters again and not even getting close...trying without boosters now and get nothing...boring boring..wish we could just skip a level and come back later...
