Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4117 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4117 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a super hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it even if you use boosters. It is an orders level, you have to collect bombs, yellow and red candies to complete the level and they are all provided by the lucky candies that drop through the portals all around the board and then through into the bottom three spaces under the portal in the main board..
In order to keep the lucky candies dropping you have to keep all the portals free of chocolate and this is the hardest thing to do as the chocolate machines keep spawning chocolate every time you make a move that doesn't clear any.
Don't try to make matches with the lucky candies, instead concentrate on making colourbombs and wrapped candies. If you can switch two colourbombs together great, if you can switch a colourbomb with a wrap this is also great, any other combo is helpful but needs careful positioning as the licorice will block it and it might not clear all the chocolate.
If you can keep making these powerful combos you can pass the level without boosters but expect to lose some lives in the process.
Keep an eye on any bombs as they will kill the game as much as running out of moves will and they can be tricky to clear.

This should be labeled NIGHTMARISHLY IMPOSSIBLE!! I have tried every combo!! I have been on this level for 2 days. I wasted 7 hammers on clearing chocolates!! I thought I was getting somewhere, but then while making cascades, lucky candies weren't dropping. I used color bomb with stripes, watching hits to the candy cane wall, but not clearing chocolates!! I used lucky candy boosters, saw no difference in how many dropped. I don't know what is up with this level!! I feel like it's meant to burn up all your boosters!! Which I have almost done!! Also starting with 2 color bombs doesn't make a difference!!
I have played this level over 20 times and have not even come close. The color bomb and wrap seemed to work the best but the chocolates keep growing. And what's up with 2-3 new level every week? I enjoyed the weeks of one level so I could grow my boosters. The only ones I ever seem to win on the wheel now are the stupid fish. Lollipops and switch hands never seem to happen.
Please help. This one is too hard! Please help.need a lucky board.

After playing about 20 times to no avail, I finally decided (remembered) to use the checkmark booster, along with the full complement of "Season's Stockings," and got it on the very next try. Good luck to all.
Started with full stocking and all 3 boosters. Began with two CBs. Must have been a lucky board. Got it in one, no hammers or switches - Boris

Finished on 2nd try with 3 moves to spare. Started with 3 CBs + tick booster + 3 extra moves. Got lots of CBs through the game.

Done on 2nd try got lucky with ribbons & Piñata
I started with color bomb combo then concentrated on getting color bomb/wrap combos. I used a couple swaps along the way to get those combos. So I got a lucky board on the second try.

a nightmare - been on it 2 days now ....... help please
I played a lower level to get the Booster Bot (I had to play 15 times instead of the usual 7 times). Starting with the Booster Bot was a huge help, but the chocolate kept blocking the side portals so I couldn't get Special Candy to drop. I don't have enough Hammers to clear the chocolate. I was unable to make CB/wrap. Failed miserably.

That was hard! I used a cb stripe combo at first, then made bombs and hammered the top most chocolates when they blocked the mystery candies and finally won.

Very bored with this level. Played 3 days now and nowhere near. There’s far too much chocolate continuously blocking the sides. Not enough reds or time bombs either. Finding it a complete waste of time. No one wants to keep playing the same level over and over without a chance of passing, so you’d think King would make it passable because otherwise they’ll loose paying players.

Have played level dozens of times never getting any red
On my first go I had ten moves remaining and all I needed were three bombs but although I managed to keep the chocolate clear and the cascades falling no lucky candies dropped onto the board. Many attempts later I have several times got down to needing just a handful of orders but not had then on the board. One time all I needed were red candies but the lucky candies turned into bombs or yellows. Not very lucky!
It's just luck. No boosters used (tried the check and didn't even get close) and without me doing much, all but two yellows had been collected with 11 moves left. It took four more moves to get them.
My bots are gone now on all devices! iPhone, android tablet, and PC!

Started without boosters.
I didn't find it hard and I quite enjoyed it. Just keep making combos and blast away. Make sure the chocolate in the top left is clear and they will keep falling and make moves under the portal in the bottom centre.
I used a hammer to get the final red.
Sage here: I’ve got a whole day free to play CC. I pray I can have lucky boards.
I also found this level enjoyable. It took a few tries, but combos are fairly easy to come by.
Where are the red candies. Got the bombs and most of yellow, but no red on board. How are you supposed to pass if you are not given a chance. Been playing for hours.

This could be the end game for me, been playing all week. Today played 3 games and only got 3 red ones. How can you pass if they don’t give you the colours you need. Haven’t even got close. Now bot has been taken away you stand no chance of passing. Goodbye CC I’d like to say it was fun, but not lately.

How come you gets lots red ones I get no more than 5 I have tried colour bombs and combos but still no red. I have been on the game for 2 weeks it’s impossible to pass.
Very difficult level. Finished on my 3rd attempt with full space dash boosters and adding a lucky/check mark candy booster. Stripe + wrap combinations near the corners are very effective, as are any color bomb combinations. Good luck everyone, thank you for the tips, and happy crushing!

After many many tries I got the lucky board and passed this level. Yesterday I fought with 4118 all day... no luck. When I started the game this morning, I was back on 4117. WTF???? Also, I'm still not getting any sugar drop levels. Overall effect is that the game has become unplayable for me.

Someone please explain to me how I’m supposed to “Escape the stress of today “ when they give us levels like this . Even Cookie is admitting that you’ll lose a few lives even with boosters which means I’m screwed as I have hardly any left thanks to their throwing hard level after hard level at us !!

I have tried over and over again, nothing works, its waisting my time, So better stop playing than annoying everyday. Glad cc is not my only game. There are much better, no kingsize games, to play.
How on earth can this be done red and yellow maybe but the number bombs nochance at all they just don't appear. I'll wait and see if a lucky board appears but not for to long otherwise im afraid it's time to leave

I'm coming here for help earlier and earlier. The lucky candies simply are not generated, and when they are, they don't drop where they can be gotten. The licorice blocks the ones on the side so the combos simply do not work.
It seemed fun the first couple of times and I figured out you have to keep the chocolate clear. But that is really hard. Posting for luck
Update: 4 days on this level and it is really not fun at all anymore. Usually when I “post for luck”, I pass soon after, without boosters. So posting for luck again!
Update: 2 more days in this level. Barely even playing now (which I have heard helps the candy crush Gods have pity on you). Maybe tomorrow I will get lucky.
This is not fun. When you spend a week on one level,it gets very frustrating and it makes me not want to play this game anymore. Not sure why they put these levels in there. May take a break from this game. Not fun anymore. His level is way to hard

Tips of making cb/wrap & chocolates free on left side helped me pass this level. Use stripes only to clear left side chocolate. I did have to use hammer to get the last red.
Stressful level.... Onmogelijk level niks aan level ga zo maar ff door.... Update of een lucky board zo jammer dit beetje genoeg van.
Has anyone figured out exactly how many times we'll be force to play these insane levels before the KING finally allows passage. Really gets tiring playing the same ones over and over to no avail, even with boosters!
