Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4217 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4217 Candy Crush Saga is a multi task level, you have to collect licorice and bombs as well as clearing the jelly to complete the level.
The first and most important thing to do is to collect the keys to unlock the bombs in the middle of the board. To do this you need to clear some of the licorice so that you can get the keys to drop from the dispensers onto the conveyor. There are dispensers at the top and bottom of the board so either will give you the keys.
Once the bombs are unlocked in the middle of the board you need a bit of luck, you need to switch the bombs to clear the jelly in the middle and also to clear the bombs before they count down. If you run out of moves in the middle section you may not be able to clear all the jelly or the bombs to complete the game unless you can make combos and clear them, but this is not easy with the licorice blocking your moves constantly.
It isn't hard to collect the licorice as there is plenty dropping, the bombs are also easy to collect for the orders, but it is more difficult to clear the bombs before they explode if you run out of moves in the middle section.

Started with a full stocking with the 3 extra moves. I tried the 2 CB twice and it didnt work out for me. After get the stocking full again I decide to do it the long way and with a fish. I had 6 left and got 3 stars! Yea me!

Hmmm, seems tricky. Tried 3 or 4 times with 2 x CBs but can't get the keys - they only seem to drop sometimes and then the bombs go off.
So, as I'm unconvinced that posting to a message board creates "luck" - I'm going to paint a chicken in blue and green stripes then lick gravy granules from an acorn for luck.

The fish aren't well schooled. They don't go for either the keys or the bombs.
Starting with CB/Wrap combo did it for me :)
Not enjoying this level at all. Hard to make combos and too much liquorice to see where the jelly is on small screen. Even if you get the bombs the jelly is hard to clear

Done! The bombs keeping getting me. I need to take a break. Loosing all my boosters on this level w no success. Tired of waiting for a lucky board.
The video is an insult for every player now! Video has 30 moves (now 24, and the player in the video needs 28!), 37 jellies (now 65!!! Which changes is near to impossible) and less aggressive liquorice (while move 25 the player doesnt hit a liquorice and still normal candies fall and no liquorice. When I don't hit a liquorice, ALWAYS new liquorice falls down). Plus I found out the fish is useless as you don't need it in the beginning and it never comes back :(
As everyone said CB CB combo is no good (makes sense due to the keys you must collect) and normal attempts failed, i tried a CB+Wrap combo and this opened well (after several useless trials of this combo). Could get rid of the bombs in the middle, but they came back with short counting. When I had only 4 jellies left and several bombs were at countdown 1, I used a precious ufo. This killed the almost exploding bombs and 2 jellies. Of course 10 moves were enough to get rid of the final 2 jellies. Remember what I wrote about liquorice!! Hit a liquo with each move if possible to prevent you from long rows falling
Since we can’t start with a full bot any more, it takes too long on the hard levels. It’s just not fun or relaxing any more. I’m looking for other games to play now. Any suggestions?

What a tough level, can clear bombs and licorace wuth ease but not enough moves to clear jelly. Combos je the key to ckear jellies if you dont have/use boosters to start, im going to keep trying@

So right after i wrote above comment i beat thus level using a swap and a hammer to complete. I have no starting boosters but immediately was able to make a color bomb(1sr time on this level)) so perhaps there us something to commenting herep

reduce the moves, and the bombs explode in 18 moves, have been tried so many times, trying to be patient but iy's impossible, a horrible level. and nightmerisly level is waiting and im getting tired with this game, and i hv no bosters at all. pay for this game? no, delete ? yes
Im done with this level, this shd be remark as super hard level, bcz this level is impossible to pass. moves reduce, bombs explode too quickly and full board covered with jelly. played many times and not even ever got colorbombs. im quit, getting tired with this game
Actually, 90 percent of the time, you do get the lucky board on your next few tries after you read a help blog, even when the tips are no help,

And now I just Passed level 4216 and it is this exact same level as this and I just used a bunch of boosters and lives to pass this. How is this possible? If anyone read my comment on last post on 4216 you will see I am not crazy! I have a screen shot to prove but won’t let me post? Has anyone had this happen? 🤯 3rd time it has happened!

Horrible impossible level.
It is now 14 moves to collect 96 jelly,30 bombs, and 40 waffles. It takes that much just to clear keys with such a limited board. What are these people thinking?!
