Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4285 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4285 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a super hard level so it may not be possible to pass it without boosters, I certainly haven't been able to do it so far.
You have to collect 50 waffles to complete the level and before you can collect any waffles you have to collect 5 keys to unlock them from the top right section of the board.
Once you collect the first key from the top right the chocolate will be released and needs clearing quickly, take care not to leave any special candies close to the chocolate when you unlock it or it will be eaten and lost.
The remaining keys drop from the dispenser in the bottom right section, so the blockers there have to be cleared to allow them to drop. Once all the keys are collected you need to make moves in the bottom right section which will bring down stripe/wrap combos if you are lucky, these will collect 12 waffles in one move, but it is doubtful that you can get enough of these combos to drop in the moves available so it is worth looking at the main part of the board to try to make colourbomb/stripe combos or double colourbomb combos to get as many waffles as possible with each move.

Very tough level! I did not have the stockings/bot but used a color bomb booster. It took many tries. I reset until I had two wraps the same color in the lower right box and a matching color next to the CB. Try to open the lower right as soon as possible. It took several swaps and a hammer or two to get good matches especially in the lower right. You need to get the wrap/stripe down there after you get the keys.

Finally completed! I had to use the beginning boosters plus advertisement booster, besides two hands to make color bomb plus color bomb during the match.

Why is it some people are commenting on this January 25th when I just got this level today on January 30th? Very difficult level!!

I finally got tired of playing the game over and over and over so I just hit the keys with a hammer as soon as they popped on the board. It worked, I finally passed.

Well hello! Here I am again. I have been on this level yet another day and I am not even getting close to completing it! I need a lucky board - please hurry!
After 2 days, finally got it, started with CB booster, got a CB from video, both wraps and key were blue, used 1 CB on blue to start, got lucky with 15 extra moves from video, super happy to be moving on especially after 2 snow days!!!

To “Snowy in Buffalo”. How are you getting CB and 15 extra moves from video - what video and how did you get it? I have started off probably 50 times with switching 2 cb together, that is getting me nowhere. You just can’t imagine how sick I am of this level! I am going to keep trying TODAY but after that I am going to kiss it goodbye!
Oh my goodness. I dont know how to get through this. By the time I accomplish the 1st 3 tasks I'm out of moves to collect 50 waffles. Reducilous, stupid hard.

To Jewel Shaw: when I play on my Nook there's a "play" option with a video icon to the right of the "play" button, I watch a short video then spin for a booster, the same thing happens when I run out of moves, watch a short video spin for a booster. This video "thing" is sporadic and never available when I play on our desktop. Hope I explained this ok, don't give up!

Looking for a lucky board. Have tried and tried. Used hammers on the keys but was still unable to get 50 waffles. YOU WIN CANDYCRUSH.
For me this has been the worst level I have played, I realise it can be done as others have done it but I cannot see how. The nearest I have got is 11 left to get and that is only once, more often I do not even get all the keys.
I dont know how people are doing this, I still cannot get close.

By the time I collect the FIRST key I have about 3 or 4 moves left.
More moves, or less keys, would definitely help.
Great idea to just hit the keys with a Hammer, but I'm a tad short on Hammers.
Is anyone else having difficulty collecting the keys?
The first key is surrounded by licorice so unless you have a CB and can match it with the key colour, or you have a hammer to hit it, you waste a lot of moves working your way through the licorice to get to the key.
The licorice in the column just keeps falling so there's no point using a Stripe/Wrap combo or a horizontal stripe.
Assuming you can get into the bottom left the chocolate eats things we need, and by the time the bottom right is cleared there are no moves left.
Once again waiting for the Lucky Board.

What a horrible level I'm using nearly all my moves just to collect the first key because liquorice just falling and blocking the way the only time I did get it early the chocolate grew and grew 😡😡 how I HATE chocolate and liquorice I can't see me ever passing this level but well done to those that have ending a lucky board or perhaps I need to find a less frustrating game to waste my time

Need a lucky board, by the time I hit the key and clear the blockers I've run out of moves for waffles, can't see me getting this one, not enough hammers/boosters etc!
I 💯 % agree Helen. I'll be sitting on this one for awhile. King, it isn't fun when you make it impossible to play. I refuse to buy boosters and that's what your trying to make everyone do with levels like this. Its unfair and doesn't make it fun like it was in the earlier levels. These are absolutely ridiculous impossible.
FYI, King, I f*kn quit. This is impossible without a ton of boosters. Which I have none of. When I finally get the first key I only have 5 moves left, and I'm supposed to collect 4 more keys with more moves left and 50 something waffles ya right !!!!!!!!!! I QUIT! Total BS, it's not fun anymore, big money grab

I’ve watched the videos and read the comments, but there seems to be no hints for getting rid of licorice. I usually get to the waffles, but then the licorice blocks the waffles on the left and bottom. Simply can’t break through. Discouraged.

Don't hate me. Started with 2 CB'S (one from Candy Pet and one from my small stash). I can't reset but they were together when the board opened. They collected the first key and set off several wraps. Kept making the best moves I could and thought I was doing well but then a wall of waffles came down. I forgot about the waffles! Made moves in the bottom right. Lots of stripe/wrap combos came from the dispensers. I had to use a hand swap to make a combo in the bottom left and a hammer on the last jelly. Hope there's a tip in there somewhere that you can use. Good luck.

it seems very easy to pass according tobthe video shown coz lots of soecial candies but my board doesnt seems that easy, hard to create the special candies and also chocolate seems aggresively covered. the point is very tired to olay this level, except you got the lucky board. and since i didnt get it, stop to play

Why is it when I watch the video are there wrapped and stripe candies falling side by side clearing the waffles and mine does not do the same. It is hard enough without having to watch a video that is not playing the same board. I know the boards change in appearance and number of moves but really, a board that does not play the same? That is like having to clear the spawners with hits vs. the 4 you see in the videos.

This was the worst most ridiculous level yet, Between the solid jellies, licorice and waffles, and then in the lower right corner unlike the video you rarely get a stripe/wrap together and if so maybe 1 or 2 and then nothing.
Despite that after about 50 tries I did get to needing 3 waffles with 1 move to go and used 3 of my 4 lollipops to get out of there.
I was able to clear it without boosters with a very lucky board.
You need a lot of luck to clear the key and bottom left followed by bottom right quickly with stripe and stripe/wrap combos.
Once the bottom right is clear, if you are lucky you can clear one horizontal line at a time which will often get a stripe wrap combo to drop together. I was able to get 4 or 5 of these consecutively which cleared the waffles.

One color bomb and one check mark did the trick easily. Use the color bomb to get the first key. If you are able to make more color bombs, always use on the keys. It work3d for me. Had several moves left, can’t remember how many.
