Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4617 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4617 Candy Crush Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it. This is an ingredients level, you have to collect 4 ingredients to complete the level. The first three ingredients have to travel down the main part of the board to the exits at the bottom and the remaining one has to travel down the outer columns of the board from the left to the bottom right.
You need to clear all the candy curls and waffles down the middle part of the board using the most powerful combos you can make, double colourbombs will be the best but any combo will be helpful.
The cherry is the hardest ingredient to collect as it is held back by locked licorice and blockers as well as chocolate. This cherry is easier to collect once you have worked your way down the middle of the board as you can then use stripes and stripe/wrap combos to clear the bottom right and open the exit.

I personally did not find a solution against the chocolate rsght bottom corner yet. Even if I hit it, it will grow again, I cannot hit it so often that it vanishes or at least not in the moves given. Video is lucky concerning this point.
After numerous senseless attempts (incl using boosters, also coconut wheel), then watching the video and complaining here in this blog got many great combos, the chocolate did miracously not grow thicker (also when I did not hit it), got many CBs and combos and could finish with 5 moves left. In other words: I got the ultra lucky board. Somebody at King felt obviously sorry for me.

A problem level! I started with a colour bomb and coconut wheel. Used 1 hand switch and 3 hammers, saved from the daily wheel rewards. I got a stripe/wrap combination at the very bottom (twice) and just did it on my last move.

It took me three attempts before looking on the blog, ran me out of bot boosters. I did add a coconut wheel and thankfully had one hour unlimited color bombs. Cookie's tips are helpful, and the video shows several combinations that are helpful to unlocking the board and eliminating the many blockers. Make special candies and combinations, and space for the ingredients to flow. Very difficult level, may not be possible to do without boosters or incredible good fortune. I can't add anything more then what cookie, Eric, and Emma haven't already said for tips. They are spot on. Follow the tips and steps, plus a lucky board will help. I found a coconut wheel helped and it's what helped clear the pesky chocolate at the bottom right. Good luck and thanx
I, too, find the coconut wheel very helpful.
Unfortunately, even though I've been within one move a few times, I cannot clear the bottom right to allow the cherry to fall out.
A few Hammers (if I had them) might do the trick.

Have played this level dozens of times with no luck. I could definitely use a lucky board!
This level is NOT any fun because it is impossible! I have been trying for days and not even getting close! Only have 1 colorbomb booster left and I will not use it on this IMPOSSIBLE level!

I’ve listened to videos to get extra moves and to continuing playing 3 times in a row and I still can’t pass it as the chocolate keeps growing at the bottom and the last blocker on the bottom RHS is so thick I couldn’t make enough boosters to blast through it. I think I’ll pack in as I’ve wasted far too much time on this level, including listening to life insurance videos.

This is a nightmare! King is in charge and you can play till the cows come home and only King will win the level. Not the players! I quit. Good riddence to all!
I give up for today. This is a horrible level where you have to wait for a pass. Getting a bit tired of waiting waiting and waiting again untill somebody of king decides its your turn to pass. Its getting very annoying. No strategy involved in thia level...only luck....😳
Already tried 25 times this morning but still can't get close to beat this level. This level is sickening. Beyond ridiculous. Wonder how many times i have to try before i get a pass. Can't you hire new designers that understand what a game is about??????

65 times.....i tried 65 times today to pass this level...!!!!!....and yesterday i also tried many times. Thank you king for this illuminating experience. If this is the way you want to get rid of loyal players you are doing a hell of a good job 👍. Keep up the spirit and try to design more of this freakin levels. Fourth day on this impossible level.. Need oodles of boosters to clear out bottom right chocolate . No way to wn boosters, all that has disappeared . Already spent much $ on this level and no more! I can live without CC

I have played this level 1000 times and can’t clear the blockers for the last cherry. Even with two color mobs, nothing has helped.

Hard level again....”expect to lose lives begore you can manage it”, from all the comments who already passed this level all said that boosters at the beginning is helpfull. But i didnt see it. I got double colorbombs couple pf times but stoll cant get through. So tired to try and beghing of lucky board. Stop playing this game is the only choice
I just CANNOT clear that bottom blocker even if I do manage to clear the chocolate there's never enough moves left to make and position combos. The game goes mad producing and detonating bombs and wraps but nothing that will hit that last square. It has way too many layers.
Give us a bloody break. There's strategy which is great but all this pot luck is offensive!!!
Since the blockers have been changed they are much harder to get rid of. I can't even get near the bottom right icing. There are never enough moves to get any stripes or combos down to the bottom to line up with it.

cookie's tips are great BUT i can't get the bottom right blocker even after buying extras moves TWICE--QUITE PRICEY 26 bars for failure.

The above comments are very correct. It is the bottom right that is the ultimate problem. Stripe/wrap combos can take care of the middle. But the bottom right is another question. I don't have the answer nor any hammers available.......

Great tip to use the coconut wheel if you have it as a booster. I also found conctrating on clearing the waffles in the bottom middle helped.
Wasted so many boosters on this one. Don’t seem to get anywhere close to finishing.
