Hints and tips showing how to pass level 4978 Candy Crush Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 4978 Candy Crush Saga is an ingredients level, you have to collect all the ingredients to complete the level.
You don't need to collect the ingredients, they will move around to the exit without any input from the player. All you have to do is keep playing until they have all dropped out of the exit.
The problem that may stop you from beating this level are the countdown bombs, they have a countdown of only 4 moves so they are going to be tricky to keep under control for the number of moves needed to collect all the ingredients.
To begin with there are 4 colourbombs on the board and you can choose to use them singly or switch them together. Either way will work, but I would suggest switching the first two with a single colour and then switching the last two together to clear the board and begin to clear the crystal candies which are covering the chocolate down each side of the board.
The best way to keep the bombs under control is to make wrapped candies and colourbombs and switch them together if you can. Don't try controlling the bombs by switching them together in normal matches, you need to make special candies and combos with every move to keep the bombs under control long enough to get the ingredients out of the exit.

Tried this several times with CB/CB on 1st move, finally got it by using 1 CB at a time then switch the last 2 together on the 3rd move, Cookie's tip worked!

This level really hurts my eyes with all the flashing of the bombs

I just did a CC update and there are 4 moves for the bombs.

I just played it (Win 10) and the bombs are 3 count.
3 moves on the bombs for me today.
How come some players get bombs with 4 moves but others , including me, only get 3 moves. A bit unfair on a ridiculously hard game.
I hope I don’t have a seizure trying to beat this level
Cookies bombs have a countdown of 4, mine have countdown of 3!

I just passed w/3 countdown bombs.
FYI: King (like most companies) rolls out changes in stages. We’ll never all have the exact same game at the same time. Additionally, how often your device syncs w/the server will impact your version of the game.
If you think fair means everyone getting the same thing all the time you have some growing up to do. We all play under the same set of circumstances, that’s fair. Luck isn’t guaranteed so don’t cry “unfair!” when someone else is fortunate. Be happy for them and life will be much better for you.

Why do the bombs on the video have a countdown of 4 - mine is only 3. I can tell before I ever start that this level will be IMPOSSIBLE! Help please,

Awesome level...i need sunglasses to play this level. I cant see it properly. But maybe i get a nice complexion playing this level for a long time. Pfffff...ridiculous level.

It is possible - no boosters. I tried and failed numerous times. Then I decided to use the color bombs that are at the start of the game, one at a time as many times as that was possible to do. I noticed that once I started doing this often just one bomb, of the same color, would have a countdown one less than any other color. That would be the decider in which color to switch the color bomb with. It took me a couple of times doing it this way but finally worked. Try it! : ) good luck all.
Help. I have a countdown of 3. I am only doing one color bomb at a time. Don’t know what else to try. But like always I will play it without boosters until I get through it.

Don't swap colourbombs together. Just use them one at a time on a single colour and then on whichever colour is at the lowest number. The last fruit or nut will fall on zero so don't stress. Actually I found it a fun level. Could do with more of these. Passed on the first try.

Cookies tip of one bomb at a time makes sense but only have 3 counts on bombs----wow CC developers really out did themselves with this level. Certain they are out to kill of us OLD people or give us strokes. Lighten up techies--some day you will be OLD.

Why only difficult levels CC? Didn’t you lost already so many players? Only a question of time, old players warn new players wit there experience and give all information about the game!
There are 5 colour bombs not 4 and there are 3 moves for the bombs and not 4. It's OK saying make wrapped candies and colour bombs if you can get them to make. When I used just one CB all the board exploded with the CB's together. Bombs then counted down quickly, losing the game! 🙄

Different game from the video for sure. Usually an ample number of CB's, but they disappear shortly after starting. Then I am left with a field of obstacles with 3 countdown. Pretty difficult.
